WORST experience ever! All the employees seemed awkward & unsure of what they should be doing. Sampled the Hawaiian sauce, tasted like Burger King sweet & sour sauce. Not a single trash can in store. My first review, Here goes: Been here a few times over the course of two months figuring the quality of the food would get better and although it has improved it's still not up to par with other wingstops. Get it together! Each time there has been something missing in my order. if you want to order over the phone, forget it you still have to wait 20 mins to get your order after the time they gave you. Being a manager at a fastfood restaurant I know good employees are hard to find but there is a girl who works at this wingstop who made my last experience get over the crappy food. She helped me order for a big party even letting me taste the wing sauces. I've ordered big before and never have the people here made any suggestions like that. This chick was working hard too, there was a line out the door and she was packing up food, cleaning up after dirty ass people and helping some idiot (i'm guessing is a manager because he was wearing a different shirt) with simple customer service while the other peeps were just standing around talking. I made a point to ask this girl her name (jackie) and tried to tip her but she wouldn't take it! she simply said "it's my pleasure to help you sir." Needless to say, I will be back just to have this girl help me again...plus those thick thighs in those tight pants DAAAMMNN! **If by the off chance you see this and interested in another position i know we could use someone like you on our staff. read more

Meh. Neither here nor there. The place is alright with the food being mediocre. It's a small little place with not much seating. This doesn't seem to be a problem anymore though as most people prefer going across the street to Buffalo Wild Wings. I wish wing stop had Wing specials like wild wings. These were the worst wings ever!!! They were extremely salty and the fires were very soggy. Then, when I called the manger from wing stop she had an attitude and only offered to fix the fries. Never again will I go back to that wing stop. read more

I went to Wingstop earlier this month and i think her name was jannah gave me great customer service that's the only reason why I would go back to that Wingstop. I went to that Wingstop several times and did not have a great experience other employees there are very rude. However she restored my faith for wing stop when I could easily go to buffalo wild wings. read more

I came to this location Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 for lunch around noon. My coworkers always rave about this location so I thought I would give it a try. They didn't disappoint. For a first timer, the cashier really helped me with my order. She recommended original buffalo sauce and lemon pepper. With a side of ranch. It was fantastic! Had the best visit out of all the the wingstop I have been too... I got a 50 piece combo for my family and we were all happy with the wings. The attendants were really nice jaime who took my order was nice and suggested the best deal. And the girl who gave me the food I believe her name was penny or hennie was nice when she handed me the food. All in all the best spot. read more

Worst service ever I was lied to and misled and they tried to charge me for a order of 10 boneless wings I requested 2 flavors but they said it wasn't possible on the phone when I asked the host was geny she completely lied when I saw on the menu for $8.29 10 piece wings with 2 flavors when I went in to the location to pick up my order I explained that the menu stated 10 wings with 2 flavors was for $8.29 and they tried to charge me for an extra flavor when it's stated in bold print and also the manager wouldn't do anything to help the situation very inconsiderate and rude no consideration with following what the menu clearly stated I wouldn't recommend this location to no one I was extremely disappointed with the service and money hungry management who couldn't provide the additional flavor which was listed on the menu rightfully read more

I called on the phone at 4:15pm today and they said the wait time was about 40 minutes so I waited .. I got there around 4:45 stood in line for about 10 minutes and when I got to the register to tell the cashier my order, she said that they only had one of my orders ready. (I ordered two of the 10 piece wings) so I waited some more.. and got fed up so I went to the register to ask how long the wait will be and the cashier copped an attitude with me, just for asking a question. by the time I got my food it was already 5:56 and the fries and wings were cold..Never again will I eat there! I understand they just opened but the staff was totally scatterbrained and they were rude..No seating available and cold food... Very dissatisfied with the whole experience..I do not reccomend this to anyone on a time schedule, but if you have all day to waste then this is the perfect place for you...! read more

This is THE WORST place EVER. I mean E.V.E.R. as in the history of all wing centric restaurants. Dry, ropey, nasty rawhide bone for your dog kinda nasty. Online ordered to take out, had 4 people walk in, stand at the counter, place their orders at the stinking counter and got their sh#t first. I'm watching the parade of unsuspecting suckers trot out the door while I sat patiently roasting on a bench in front of a window. Roasting because some moronic turd wouldn't leave the shades on the windows down, raising them after I asked him to wait until I left cuz it was freaking hot sitting there waiting for them to kill the chickens so I too could join the legion of fools who have had the misfortune of eating the wings from this pit of despair. The little turd raised the shade anyway saying "we need the sunlight" like a baby with jaundice. I'm already hating the place, but just kept my cool cuz they're already shady (no pun intended) and I'm not looking for somebody to christen my food, ya know? The food here was decent, but what really turned me away was the two day food poisoning I got from here that landed me in the hospital. The other person that ate there with me also had some slight sickness from eating something completely different from me. I want to start off to say that they are very cheap when it comes to trying samples of a sauce. I asked for a sample of two sauces they offered and they gave me some mini cups for dip and put a little on the bottom of the mini cup and make you lick it to try out the sauce. Very degrading. At Buffalo Wild Wings they actually give you some fries and the sauce in the mini cup to try out. Anyways another thing that made me very upset was that they sell bottled beverages and I asked for one and I didn't have a bottle opener and I asked the cashier if they had one so I can drink my beverage and she said no. I was very upset that they sell bottled drinks but they have no bottle opener for the customers to use. A nice customer over heard my dilemma and offered me her bottle opener. The wings are mediocre and the fries were okay but could be better. Overall I wouldn't recommend this wing stop but would be willing to try another Wing Stop at a different location. First time going to Wingstop and last. We went in and ordered some different flavors of wings and cheese fries. As I was eating my cheese fries I look down to see something in them. As I pick at it I see a screw, a screw was in my food. When I go tell an employee much concern was not shown. I do not recommend this place. read more

I love Wingstop. I'm not from Oxnard but I moved here a year ago and I always complained about craving Wingstop so I was happy to hear it was opening here. The first time my boyfriend and I ordered from here we called ahead of time and when we got there we just had to wait in line but we were able to get our order in 30 minutes like the lady said. I suggest calling ahead of time to get your order. I prefer Wingstop over BWW. But you guys gotta work on the fries. Other Wingstop locations have better fries. read more

It's a little pricey but it's nothing amazing. When I crave fried chicken wings I order the family meal to go. It's very inconsistent . The fries are either not cooked enough and soggy, or overcooked. I do love the traditional hot wings though enough heat and flavor to the wings :) read more

Food quality is good, service was nice, but I'm pretty upset about the online ordering scenario. The location in Northridge was very timely with an order of over 50 wings, but for a simple 15 wing combo at Oxnard, they hadn't even started cooking until I arrived 20 minutes after I placed my order. Btw, I was quoted 25 minutes to allow for pick up. Bummer. Then I had to wait 15 minutes after arriving to get my food. For a short lunch, I wouldn't bother with the online ordering, it doesn't save any time. read more

The food is always good. When I eventually get it, that is. The girls at the front never seem to understand what I'm trying to order and stare at me blankly like I'm talking crazy. Now I'm going to start this off by saying i am a former employee of their biggest competitor BWW. On that note I've got to say the reason Wingstop has won me over is their quality is 100% more CONSISTENT! I've come to this place at all different times of the day, even just an hour before closing like today and my food is ALWAYS hot, always made correct, and customer service is always outstanding. Now, I've got to say the traditional wings and range of flavors at BWW are amazing and i still love them. But at this point i will not return there as a customer because i know how many factors that go into making those delicious wings i love, just go over looked. And the fries are 100x better! Wingstop isn't cheap, but neither is BWW so i find it pointless to complain about that, especially since that's something that locally the store has no control over. You have to find the place that is going to give you your moneys worth EVERY TIME, and I've found that here. read more

The first time I had Wingstop was in Wisconsin with my wife's family. Had to say I liked it so when I found out Wingstop was here in Oxnard I jumped at the chance. The wings were pretty darn good and the service was friendly and quick. Not to mention its not super expensive at all. The Hawaiian flavor wings weren't the best but their BBQ and Louisiana Rub wings are definitely delicious!! And their fries are different, I am not quite sure what it is but they are good as well, you can even get different flavors on them. read more

I am doing another review after having been to this location about 6 to 7 times now and I still love it. I have to give a huge shout out to Jennifer as she is the nicest most efficient employee I have come across in a long time. She is so helpful and sweet and after my 2nd or 3rd time there she knows me by name and always gives great service. I would say they are all great but I did have 1 who a tad on the rude side on one of my visits (don't want to call her out) but Jennifer is by far the best. I love the food here and the prices. I will never go back to BBWW again. Thanks for coming to our city and Jennifer....YOU ROCK. Tell your boss I said you deserve a raise ;) read more

Ate here for the first time for lunch today. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. We were served quickly and cheerfully. The person at the register made some suggestions to help us as we hadn't been there before. We ordered a combination of the mild wings and BBQ wings with fries. Our order was delivered within 5 minutes. The fries, oh the FRIES! They were very good. Fresh, hot and salty. They were a little limp the way fresh cut from the potato fries tend to be. Skin was left on the potatoes giving the fries lots of great flavor. The wings were hot and slightly crispy. BBQ sauce was a good blend of tangy and sweet. The mild wings were also quite good. Same flavor as hot wings, but without the burn. I had considered leaving off a star because we had ordered half the wings boneless and they came bone-in instead. We decided to eat them anyway and they were excellent! We will be back. read more

It's funny, I already knew they had horrible wait time, but just out of curiosity I came on here to read some reviews. I laughed at a few but still decided to put in a phone order. So we placed it around 7:38 on a Sunday, they said it will be ready by 7:56, we went to another place and picked up something else before we decided to go pick up our wings. Arrived thinking, ok we gave them enough time, they're going to be waiting. So I walk in, I pay, the cashier walks to the back, and in my head I'm thinking, ok cool he's getting my food. But no, haha he went to just check the ticket and come back and tells me it was going to be a couple minutes. I laughed in my head. I wasn't even upset at them, I knew what I was getting myself into. Anyways my order that was supposed to be done by 7:56 ended up being ready at 8:16. The two stars was because I just love wings. And sadly I'll probably be back, sucks wish they got their priorities right. If they had people bail on them in the past they should just take payments over the phone... Hello, I just want to say I been in the food industry a long time, I also have worked for Wing Stop 5 years prior to being hired here. Yes I am employee here and I am not happy. There is really no hope, Chris doesn't know how to run the store, there are always too many people working or not enough. Business is slow, no one listens to how things are suppose to be ran. Orders are always being messed up, they aren't fresh, always cold, I always hear customers complaining. Chris says one thing then the next is ran totally different. The serving trays are just stacked in the back never washed only wiped down with towels then reused again. The bowls for the chicken are never switched out, or rinsed off and kept cleaned for saucing, it seems like everything is full of sauce, I have tried explaining to everyone how things are ran but it is like finding that one needle in the hay stack. I have been a shift leader for Wing Stop up north, I made sure everyone had their breaks on time, 10s, 15s, 30s. This place is so unsanitary. I never worked for such a poorly ran business. I thought it would change, I ended up walking out when I first was hired because of this, Chris called me back saying he really liked me, offer me more hours etc, I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking things would change but I guess I was wrong. Honestly I wouldn't suggest this restaurant to anyone, people might get sick. I have even tried the fries and they are soggy, old, and taste like crap. The seasonings for the wings or fries isn't done properly, either too much or not enough. I mean it is a job for now, but if something comes up full time, ran better.... lets just say I'm keeping my options open! I hope that this store will be ran better and improve but I doubt it. read more
