The fries looked so sad too didn't have the salt and sugar combo they usually have and they were a mixture of soggy pieces with really dark brown nearly black pieces. I cant even figure out how that happened or just period what happened to this order honestly.. the register attendant was nice though! One person waiting on their food. I walked right to the front and told the cashier I was still on hold. He didn't seem to care. I can understand why the rating for this Wingstop is substandard. For starters when we called the gentleman on the line couldn't understand my wife when she was speaking plain english. Then when my wife goes and picks up the food they had it sitting in the ready area for 22 minutes. They didn't bother giving it to her. She finally had enough and went to ask them for her food. After finding that chicken finger in my food, customer service tries to tell me it was a "miscut piece of chicken." It clearly has a nail sticking out of it. It's not a miscut piece of chicken. It's a chicken finger and they're trying to deny it. They also tried bribing me with a gift card to have a better experience next time. So I said "you want me to come back to find another chicken finger in my food? No thanks." Horrible customer service. Tried to tell me that I was mistaking the chicken finger for a miscut piece of chicken. The chicken finger was stuck to a drumstick. WORD #2: THESE BONELESS WINGS ARE GREAT!!!!! But... PRICING STRUCTURE I can't figure out the pricing on the menu. As a new 1st time customer I wanted to try a multiple number of favors to "see what I liked." There are approximately 7 or 8 different flavors, but as a single diner, you can only choose 2 flavors. And, unless you want some rather non-descript looking fries (expensive as a side order - but the only choice in a combo other than "veggie sticks" - I didn't ask...), you can only buy individual wings in a 10 pack or more...up to 50!!!!!!! Dinner for 8???? Too much food...ALTHOUGH THEY WERE GOOD!! One person should probably stick to 6 wings...but you can't... And why not?????? The wings are fried to order AND THEN SAUCED in "communal sauce" bowls lined up on the prep line...what difference does it make if you sauce 2 per bowl, 4, 6 or 10???? And they handed me the wings, I turned and I got "oh wait...you ordered rolls and we are out." Well...how long I asked? "2 to 3 minutes" Sigh...I have invested 20 minutes already...I told the manager that I would wait. As I said I walked out of the door at the 26 minute mark...order complete. You do the math... As I had ample time to watch the back of the joint while standing at the counter waiting...every employee got spoken to my the Manager...for something. The more that I watched, the more I was certain that the employees were fine - they were really working hard on a busy night. The problem was the Manager. Micro-manager is a better name for this person's apparent position. That and if he told me once that my order was "coming right up" - he told me 7 times...which was a little irritating after the 3rd time. BOTTOM LINE: I like the Boneless Wings and the 2 sauce choices that I was limited to (mild and regular hot). The rolls ARE FANTASTIC...especially right out of the oven...because you know...I HAD TO WAIT! The employees were working hard - no fault there. The Manager?????? Well, I will try Wing-Stop again...but probably at another location. Coupon (which I couldn't use as I would had 5 more that I couldn't eat because I was completely full after the 6 / 10 that I had to order) or not...I will be trying another location. A trainee was working at the time so the manager helped her checking my husbands order out. They didn't charge him for it. While watching tv after dinner I asked my husband how much was it. He said he didn't pay that he thought i paid online and they didn't charge him anything just gave him the order. So I called and tried to pay over the phone. They were confused about the situation but finally it got thru to them that I left with an unpaid order. They didn't take payment over the phone and asked me to come in to pay. I feel I've just been robbed $12 by this place. Yesterday, I called in my order and still had to wait 40 min for my food (no lie). When I got home, I found that my 8 piece lemon pepper wings had no lemon pepper! I am not kidding you. After the long wait, (even though I called in my order ), the long drive from Port Hueneme, the drive back, I got plain wings. Love the wings, have always had great service up until my last order.... I order online like always for a traditional wings, they made a mistake and gave me boneless and said they'd fix it. After visiting my dad in the hospital across the street, me and my daughter were craving wings. So we walk in about 8:30pm and place a to-go order of 10 bone in pieces, half lemon pepper and garlic parmesan, veggies, ranch and blue cheese dressing. I checked into Yelp for the free bread roll. Order was ready within 10 minutes and when we got home, every chicken wing was delicious! I always get lemon pepper and I love when the buttery seasoning pools enough so you can sop it up with the chicken meat. The garlic parm flavor was a great partner. And damn.. I'm all for places that stay open late. They become another option to cure the hunger pains or people who dine late and not want the food you can get from waiting in a drive-thru. You have to get me pretty upset to get a one star rating. It's not like my order was difficult to put together. I didn't order a 10-piece combo, wanted half to be extra crispy and the remainder to be cooked normally and/or wanted all drums. The only challenging task the employees of this Wingstop couldn't complete was I wanted cheese fries with my combo. I was informed there would be an additional charge which I had no problem with. About 10 minutes later, my name gets called and when I get to the front, the employee proceeds to read off my order and it was correct. Now, most people here would double check their bag to make sure they got everything that was ordered. I didn't feel the need to because I didn't order the entire menu or anything out of the ordinary. I get home and I'm missing the damn cheese sauce to go with my french fries that I was already charged for. I was really set on trying them out for myself off a recommendation from someone I know who eats Wingstop regularly. It wasn't a big deal that required me to get back in my truck, drive back to Wingstop and ask they give me what I paid for. Yes it was busy, but I've been to a Wingstop that was busy and got my order just FINE. First visit, it was probably a week after opening. Ordered 15 wings/boneless combo and fries with ranch and honey mustard sauce. I was told the wait would be about 20, well damn, but surprisingly my "order" was ready in about 10! I was happy and quickly walked out because it began to get busy. I checked the bag and I didn't have any of my sauces so I went back in and got them. Came home, and what do you know, they forgot to give me my fries! Second visit, was maybe a week and a half after the first time. Ordered online for 20 wings, with fries. Came about 20 minutes later to pay and pick up. And guess what, they didn't get our order. Really? Does online ordering even work? So we placed our order AGAIN. Waited about another 20 minutes for our food. This time we made sure to check our order. Noticed that we didn't get any ranch. So we asked for ranch, but its extra? I thought your wings just came with your choice of sauce on the side, they had asked me last time. Come on, we are ordering 20 wings! Geeze. The wings are good, just service needs to be more tentative and work on the tweaks with online ordering. I'm sure it will get better. Just tried this place for the first time and it was good. We tried the Spicy Korean, the Mango Habanero, and the Hawaiian. I love that you can order by the piece and choose none in or out. The Korean was not spicy but had good flavor, the Hawaiian tasted like your average Orange Chicken, good but a little on the sweet side. Our favorite by far was the Mango Habenero. Not too hot, but the flavor was great!! I may have to try the Atomic next time just to see if its tolerable! Decent wings at a decent price. read more

When I came back in to ask for a replacement for the boneless he still charged me for getting boneless even when he's the one that messed up and I had to wait longer for his mess up. Pretty long wait for food, especially when you're hungry, 20 mins seems like forever. We ordered traditional wings and boneless. The traditional came out really crispy which is nice if you like that. Don't order boneless with dry seasoning. They come out extremely hard, dry, and the seasoning just falls off. I had boneless with Cajun flavor and it was alright. I'd rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings across the street for boneless. Besides the wait and fighting over the last tables available, there's also a line for their one soda machine. It's nice they have the dispenser with so many come options and flavors. But sometimes too many options is overwhelming for some and they stand at the machine forever trying to decide what they want. Decided to try Wingstop Oxnard after a co-worker raved about the one in La Verne. Another co-worker went during the first week and complained about the slow service, so we decided to give them a month to get established, hoping they would grow into a rhythm and speed up turn around. Boy, were we wrong. Before I get into the service, I must point out the food is delicious. I am not a fan of spicy, so I went safe with teriyaki and barbeque sauces on my 6-piece wing combo. I was not disappointed. The barbeque has the perfect zing, and the teriyaki is sweet and mild. I ordered fries extra crispy and they are the perfect addition to my wings. Their service was sub-par. The counter girls are friendly, but no one in the building seems to have any sense of urgency. I know its just a food joint, but there should be the urge to get people their food when you see so many waiting. We decided to order online and pick up, seeing as we only have a 30 minute meal period. Instead of being able to pick up our food and enjoy it in the time allotted for us, we spent 25 minutes waiting for our order, and barely made it back to work on time. They need to delegate tasks, organize their work space, and care about getting their customers food out fast. The food is good, but not worth getting written up at work. I'm beyond excited! Ventura County finally has a Wingstop! If you want great tasting wings come here. It's located next to the Dairy Queen where the Taco Bell used to be. It is not a place like Buffalo Wild Wings or Cronies. I love the Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and Hawaiian. I stay away from the hot stuff. You can't go wrong with any flavor though. I dislike the location. This shopping center is crazy with parking and people who can't drive (or park). Call ahead or order online to pick up and avoid the madness.
