I had a wonderful experience tonight at my local Wingstop. I do frequent here, and always have very kind service. I know with fast food that's very hard to come by. These guys are always packed and still always kind. My experience tonight really soldified this being my go-to. I placed an online order. This location had a couple new employees who were training, and with a busy as it gets I know mistakes can be made. I made sure to check my order before I left as I always do anywhere and realized my boneless wings weren't the size they usually are, they were much smaller. Dian explained to me that they're the smaller cut offs, and it was a simple mistake just because the new employees were learning. I told him it was totally okay and that I've been new too! He was quick to explain and let me know that he would get my wings replaced and even ensure I got fresh fries and corn so that they're fresh. This is just one of those things that matter, coming from me being someone who is also in the service industry. I was so happy with his kindness, knowing that I was probably coming up with my container with a complaint and he still met me with a smile and eager to make it right. The last two times we went, our orders were wrong and had things left out. In addition to that, the staff seem, burnt out? While there was five staff on shift , it appeared that three were out in break at any given time. At one point, a staff member brought another staff in saying "I found him! I really enjoy the boneless wings at Wingstop. I first ran across one in Gresham or somewhere out there but since I don't get out there much, I didn't have these. I saw this one a year or two back and was pleased to see that the same delicious wings with Louisiana Rub was just as good here as it was there. I recommend the corn, as well. They come sprinkled with their flavored spice which they use on the fries (yummy, too). I recommend ordering online about 25 minutes prior so you do not have to wait long. I went to this location twice to give them a shot, as one of them was using the "Thighstop" app that had to be ordered through an online ordering system even tho its all done in the same store. Both times the problems were the same. The chicken was dry. The thighs? Dry. Small. The normal boneless wings? Tons of breading, very little chicken. A location in Portland I loved would let us put the sauces on the side so they wouldn't get soggy, and we could dip as we ate. This site flat our refused and said (I kid you not) "How?" I dont know how you can make a wing you literally coated in sauce dry...but here we are. We avoid this place now. Went in with our daughter for a meal before heading to our sons high school concert which begins at 7pm. Our plan was to be there to get a seat at 6:45pm. The school is only about 1 mile from the store. We get in to the store and order our food. My wife and daughter place their order and then I do mine. I see on the board that with the chicken tenders you can have 1-2 flavors. When I order my combo meal I am told I can only have 1 flavor unless I want to order the wings, fries and drink all separately. I comment how that does not make sense. They finally had someone come over and they were able to figure out how to input my order in system. Time stamp on receipt 5:58pm. Total charged to credit card $37.79 We sit down and start having conversations. We start talking about the concert and my wife looks at her watch and see that it is now 6:25pm. We still don't have our food and we need to leave. I go to the counter and inquire about our order. I am told that it will be a few more minutes before it is ready. Upon hearing that I do the math in my head and know that we will not be able to eat our food and make it to the venue on time. So, I ask for a refund. I am told at that point that "No. Your food will be ready before we can process a refund as that takes a really long time. If you want, you can take your food to go." I let them know that I am not interested in eating cold food later. The whole point in ordering hot food is to eat it while it is still hot. They still continued to try to get me not to get a refund but take food to go to eat later. I still say no. Finally they start processing my refund. But while they are doing that our order comes ready. Another employee asks what they should do with our order to which she was told, "Well if they don't want it. They will waste it and we just have to throw it out." When the refund is done, I ask for a copy of the refund receipt. I was told that they could not give it to me. They said something to the fact that if the refund doesn't go through, they need something to be able to research it. I asked to take a picture of the receipt and they give me two different "void" slips. The first one is for my wife's and daughter's meals and at the bottom it says "Refund amount; $20.48" Then the second slip say "Refund amount $14.29" I quickly do the math in my head and know that the amount refunded is $3.02 less than what I paid. I point that out to the person doing the refund and she looks perplexed as to why it is different. I then look at my receipt and realize that they are not crediting me back the tax that was charged. I point that out and she tells me that they cannot refund tax, That is a state issue I need to take up with the state. She tells me that I should see my refund to my account in 7-10 days and if it doesn't show up to call the store back and she'll call her General Manager. I ask for the GM #. I was given her email and telephone number. So this morning I emailed the GM and explained as I have above here. Well, the email bounces back and not real. I then try to call the telephone number I was given; it turns out to be a fax machine!! Wish I could give no stars. read more

So apparently this spot is known by many locals as a place to stay away from. When other businesses in the same building tell you it's bad you know you have a problem. I was feeling unwell and needed to grab some food. Wings make everything better so I stopped in (in area on business). I was the only person in the restaurant waiting for food. I sat down after ordering and waited while looking at my phone. It seemed to be taking a while so I went to the counter to ask and my food had been ready for long enough to be cold. There is shit customer service and there is uselessness.
