I do like coming here whenever I am near Downtown Vancouver. The food and service is great. Chill atmosphere. Plenty of parking outside of their small parking lot. Their thai food is delicious, I believe the sushi was good as well, especially the unagi I heard.

I was very excited about this places based on the reviews. I came during lunch and ordered Chicken Pad Thai for take out. I asked to cook the bean sprouts but they were not. The dish was very very salty and mushy. The noodles were broken into smaller pieces. Needless to say, i wasn't impressed with the service and food. The restaurant itself looks big. I'm not sure if the food would taste different from dining in.

Hadn't been to Thai Orchid in years but decided to stop in for a dinner with friends. We arrived at about 4:30pm on a Friday without reservations and were seated immediately. Service was friendly and prompt through the entire meal. Started with an Asian Pear Mojito-sweet but yummy! Next was the cucumber salad and this was probably my favorite of the whole meal. It was crisp and had good flavor. Would definitely get this again. Next ordered a spicy salmon hand roll and salmon nigiri. Both were just ok. I've had higher quality tasting salmon at other restaurants but was at least fresh tasting. For dessert I finished with the mango sticky rice and this was yummy! The mango was very fresh. Overall the meal and service were pretty good.

i really liked my experience here! the parking lot was full but we managed to get street parking further down. there were a ton of people in the entryway, but i guess most of them were waiting for their online orders because we got seated within 3 minutes. the ambiance is laid back and chill with there being a bar area and a vast drink menu. they also have a happy hour which i need to check out next time. their menu has a ton of options, so it took us a while to decide, but we got a mix of thai food and sushi. i also got a spiked thai tea which was soooo delicious. the pad see ew threw me off a bit because ive never seen it served with cilantro, though it was very tasty and had a generous amount of chicken, which i really enjoyed. the chicken satay was already delicious alone, but it also came with a peanut sauce and pickles on the side which went well together. the rainbow roll was a little bigger than a standard sushi roll and also very tasty.

I stopped in for lunch today. We have a Thai orchid in Portland that I love. I thought this would be the same. It wasn't. The staff was excellent. Very friendly very welcoming. I ordered the pad Thai with a side of jasmine rice. The rice was good, but the pad Thai could've been much better. It had a weird tasting sauce to it that I wasn't used to for pad Thai. The noodles weren't pad Thai noodles they were more like Angel hair pasta. I could've dealt with all that as flavor pallets differ from person to person, but the crushed peanuts they came with it were stale. That ruins the meal. I don't live in the Vancouver area so my return will not come. There is definitely not a destination restaurant.

The lunch specials are awesome! I ordered the pad kee ma and thought it was delicious. I love how they're vegan friendly and very accommodating. They immediately asked questions regarding food contamination so I love how thoughtful they were. Accurate spice level according to their menu. I also really enjoyed the Thai iced tea with coconut milk. Great spot for a large amount of people too.

A gem of a place that can be found near the waterfront in lovely Vancouver, WA.

We all very-much enjoyed our dinner here! Our daughter joined us on this jaunt to the Pacific Northwest, and as soon as we landed in Portland (around dinner time), my wife did a google search. She was on a quest for good Asian food. As it turns out, THAI ORCHID popped up, we all came to an agreement to give it a go, and we were on our way to the state of Washington. When asked, our server pointed out a number of suggestions that she thought were house specialities. The Red Pumpkin Curry had stood out as an intriguing possibilty, prior to our asking our server, so when she mentioned it, "it was a go"! The dish indeed was a hit as all of us enjoyed the flavors and textures that soon arrived. Not a single grain of rice was left by meal's end. Three of the sushi offerings were also brought to our table and all were pretty good. Not to complain, but...the spicy tuna roll could have had a little more heat to it. But again, overall, all of our rolled seaweed and rice (aka: Maki) selections were well done and quite satisfying . Our server was very conscientious and caring. She checked in on us often and had a very pleasant demeanor. Finally, the iced tea that my wife ordered (*just the regular tea that you get if you ask for an iced tea) stood out as one of the restaurant's pleasant mini-surprises as It has hints of vanilla and went down so-so smooth! My beverage choice was a hazy IPA that also was super satisfying. I think it had a high alcohol content as I was a little tipsy by the time the bill came. The ambiance is pleasant and welcoming and I would recommend the trip across the bridge.

Excellent service, reasonable prices, very well decorated and maintained restaurant and tasty food. Lunch specials are a good deal. Those who regularly read my reviews, know that I often check out the restrooms, as an indicator of how clean the restaurant is overall, and this place did not disappoint. Very well appointed, maintained and spotless facilities.

This was my first time dining here and it was delicious! We came in on a Wednesday night and were able to be seated right away. We ordered a beer and a lychee mojito. The mojito was really good! For food, we got the Tom Ka soup with chicken, orchid roll and pad see ew with chicken. All had great flavor and we enjoyed our meal. I will say that service was a little bit in the slower side. Overall, we enjoyed our experience dining here.

Great selection of thai food and sushi. Super convenient lunch spot downtown and walking distance to the county government buildings, courthouse, and farmers market (Esther Short Park) area. Friendly service and quick if you are ordering sushi.

Massaman curry. Take out order - half filled container.

We started with a couple Thai mules which were made with a spicy and delicious ginger beer. For food we ordered the Nem Kai from the house specials menu and, after an enthusiastic endorsement, the drunken noodles. Both dishes were amazing. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were generous. We couldn't finish so we took the leftovers home and enjoyed them the next day. I have been craving that rice dish for the past week since our visit. I will have to go back soon! The servers were attentive and helpful, even though it was closer to closing time than we thought. We sat outside and enjoyed the landscaping on a nice evening. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal and refreshing beverage.

Restaurant was clean. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options. We were immediately greeted and seated upon entering the restaurant. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. We ordered a few appetizers to share; coconut shrimp, potstickers, chicken satay and BBQ pork fresh salad rolls. Each appetizer came with an appropriate dipping sauce. The food was good, and tasted fresh. The chicken satay was a bit dry, but the curry flavor was perfect and the peanut dipping sauce helped give it a bit of moisture. I feel like the prices were a bit steep. We only ordered one non-alcoholic beverage and 4 appetizers, and the bill was just shy of $80, with tip. I guess I didn't realize how expensive it was since last time I came for Happy Hour. Overall we were happy with our experience here; however, next time we'll make sure we hit Happy Hour for better pricing. Would recommend.

The Massaman curry was bland, with huge overcooked vegetables and tofu that fell apart. The Pad Thai had a sour, off smell and taste. The main dining room was stacked with kitchen‑supply boxes. Our server ghosted us the entire meal. When he finally reappeared to collect the money, my husband politely mentioned the curry had no flavor and that we would've appreciated being asked about the spice level when ordering. He shrugged and said he didn't bother because we ordered "mild dishes," and that we should've asked to be "hooked up with a spice rack."
