This was my first time on at a wingstop on the eastern side of the country. I have heard good things so I was excited to try the wings, but the thing that jumped out to me on the menu was their chicken sandwich and I was moreover sold when I learned that you can add any of their sauces or rubs on it. I chose the hot honey and generously they asked if I wanted blue cheese, ranch, or honey mustard as a dipping sauce. I obviously had the blue cheese. The sauces were a lot less viscous than I imagined they would be and were less potent but still good. Now, the chicken sandwich was good but I was not too impressed. I will say the chicken was well cooked, white juicy meat, and good thickness. However, the hot honey rub was more of a buttery cajun. I was expecting it to be a hot honey sauce. Food wise, I would say it was a 3, but service wise, I would give it 5 starts. We were about a group of 15 and all our orders were taken and came out quick and correct. Been in here a couple of times and never had any issues. The employee working the front counter gave his usual "Welcome to Wingstop" and provided quick service taking my order. This time after I placed my order and was standing next to the counter as I waited. When I noticed two employees in the food cooking section without gloves, so I paid attention to their hands. I then saw the guy working the register go in the cooking area talking to one of the food prep guys and they started touching their ears and removing their earrings to show each other immediately next to food prep station. It was disgusting and in violation of food safety regulations. I immediately called over the guy working the register and asked for the manager. I told her what I just witnessed and that it was disgusting and unhygienic for them to touch their ears like they were in the presence of food. Additionally, for those workers to not wear gloves while preparing the food is unacceptable as well. Huge issues with pasts. Was sitting here eating and the pest Exterminator started spraying while the restaurant was open. I asked to speak to a manager who was filthy and not helpful at all. She said I would have to take it up with the owner whose information she was not willing to give me. You could smell the toxic scent of pest repellent. Ordered from them last night. We ordered 15 plain and 15 Hawaiian wings and fries. The plain wings should be relabeled dried out dead wings because it was almost like they had been fried for days then left sitting out for the same days terrible. The Hawaiian wings were better only because the sauce loosened up the dead wings. The positive, the fries are great but delivered they came cold. And 71.00 for 2 for wings is ridiculous. Me and my friend went and each tried 2 different wings. They gave us extra wings, but no complaints. We asked for a 6 peice total and we each probably got 10. The garlic parmesean was my all time favorite!! I will probably ask for the fries well done next time, but they tasted sweet and different so good. I've been to Wingstop 2-3 times now, so I really feel I can very accurately assess my experiences based on those multiple visits. Let me start by saying I probably made a mistake in quickly reading reviews left by others, as I always enjoy placing my own thoughts that are not otherwise influenced by the observations of past reviewers. My own review will not be swayed by those statements, but I will definitely echo and supplement some of those points. Bottom line: The wings at Wingstop are good - really good. They are perfectly cooked and offer a crispy exterior, the insides are not dried out but appropriately moist. The sauces are really good - with a wide array of variety and scales of heat to select from. They have no issue in dividing an order of 20 into several different sauces, dividing them in your to-go box with paper lining to keep them separate. I don't believe they charge for that with a reasonable minimum order of wings. Okay, that's the good stuff, my review is not complete yet. To add to what others have said, these suckers are probably the smallest wings the chain could purchase anywhere. When I go to Cluck U or other establishments, an order of 10 is very ample appetizer, 15 is a complete meal. I can house 20 of the Wingstop wings and may be looking for something else. For the excellence of how they are prepared, I can accept this except the price really doesn't at all match the size. These are probably some of the most expensive wings (price to weight) in the area. Add to that, they are pretty much the only wing joint on the planet that does NOT include complimentary Blue Cheese with a minimal order or wings. They charge extra, which is a practice I just cannot get my arms around. I dropped a note to owner to ask, and it was explained that it's made fresh daily, best ingredients, etc, etc. Look, I'm dropping $20-25 for a few wings...through a little ramiken of sauce in the bag and let me leave with a smile!! I do understand that some folks probably through away the blue cheese, so perhaps ask if they want it rather than include in each bag. I always ensure I have a bottle of Marie's or Ken's in my fridge before ordering from this place. Sounds ridiculous, but I refuse to pay that much (price per gram is high) for something I so strongly feel should be part of the order. You're not making money on that from this guy. The fries are so damned over-seasoned, it's like a salt lick. Suggest - have the chef try a handful from each batch and see if he/she would like to receive that on a plate. Adjust from there. No one needs that much sodium. The staff seems confused and SLOW as hell. Maybe they have high turnover and are constantly in training mode, not sure. The large menu board displayed overhead is missing one important thing - the price of wings!! They seem to have strong interest in the combo meals, that's all you'll pretty much see. I asked the cashier how much a given number of wings were, and it sent him into a calculating tailspin. He spit out a price that was HIGHER than the same number of wings with two sodas and two fries. So, there's a premium charge if you only order wings? I think he made an error, and he had to backtrack. Wingstop management - sometimes, people want just wings. Go to Cluck U and see the excellent way they arrange and display pricing for such. Copy that, it's the most extreme form of flattery and your customers will truly thank you. Next, please either buy bigger wings or adjust your prices accordingly. You're really expensive, friends. My last comment follows up on another review regarding sauces. Yes, their sauces are really tasty (habanero mango is heaven) but you're SO cheap on application!! Wings are dry for the most part, almost like a dry rub instead of saturated in sauce. No one wants their wings floating in sauce, but there's a happy medium. Note to those ordering take out, just take one moment to open each package and inspect this vital component. Don't be shy - hand the package back and respectfully ask for more sauce. This review can easily be moved to five stars with the following: Slightly larger wings or slightly lower pricing, complimentary blue cheese with orders of 15 wings or more, visible pricing on wing pieces alone, and just a tad more sauce included. Come on guys, this is the biggest "easy button" I've ever seen. This is because your product is so good now. read more

I love the honey chipotle barbecue sauce on the chicken tenders. Also the Cajun sauce and the traditional buffalo sauce are really good. I'll have some level of spice With a good kick. I usually get the chicken tenders because they have the most meat. The season fries are exceptional because of the spices that they put on the fries. I like their soda machine as it dispenses approximately 400 different drinks. The cashiers are usually happy and Competent. Wait time is never too long. read more

They were perfectly crispy and the flavors we got were outstanding. The Louisiana rub was spicy and had so much flavor. The teriyaki was delicious. Wingstop in my humble opinion is the five guys of chicken wings. It's pretty good but not great. I would rate it higher if they served beer. I've had two or three different types of sauces for my wings. I had BBQ, original hot, lemon pepper, & Louisiana dry rub. The flavors were good yet something felt a bit off. Slightly dry and over cooked, but the sauce and dip covered it well. The staff was kind & helpful. I recommend taking it to go because this place is quite small. There's about four tables and a bench for people to wait for their take out orders. There's a tv there & you can also pick up on the Manhattan bagels wifi right next door. Today being the first day they opened they seemed very well prepared. They were very knowledgeable with menu. Very clean of course, it just opened. The wings took a little bit to come out but then again we ordered 20 wings to go. We got the Hawaiian sauce and traditional mild buffalo. Both sauces where great both flavorful and delicious! What I also found out is that you can order online to make the ordering process much easier and faster! The price might be a little high but I understand it's a higher end place for wings. They also have the cool coke cola free style machines most places have now but didn't expect this place to have. Which made the soda choices a lot more appealing. read more
