Our visit was a half hour before closing. Onsite parking was plentiful. The property is enormous. Inventory seemed endless. In just molding and trim alone, there were over 30 options. So many options that it would've been hard to decide had I not been trying to match an existing baseboard. I had tried HD and Lowes prior to BMC with no luck. BMC had my baseboard. They seemed to have everything lumber wise. The on-site store inside also had a great selection of tools to get the job done. The gentlemen working inside were friendly. But outside it was a tad hard to find someone to assist. Perhaps it was because our visit was just before closing... Prices were decent. If you are looking for something specific or an amazing selection for your project, BMC should be on your list of places to go.

This is a real lumberyard that works with contractors and other professionals in the field; homeowners and everyone else are also welcomed, but don't expect Home Depot or anything. Last week, I went in ready to make my purchase and met Jasson. I showed him photos of the area to be filled in and asked for his estimation of how much I would truly need. I didn't want to get to much because I had nowhere to store extra stones. His estimate was 8 bags. I purchased 5 just to make sure while planning to buy extra bags if needed. His estimation was right on the money! After laying the 5 bags I had purchased, 3 more was the exact fit. Unfortunately, when I picked up the remaining 3 bags and brought them home, I discovered that that wrong stones had been bagged and immediately called Balboa Brick. They were perfectly amazing as they easily swapped out the wrong stones for the right ones. Jasson and Alex are, by far, the best dudes! And, I will be back!

All paid in advance with an extra $500 plus added to my card. Total of $1000 I get a call morning of from an employee to tell me the vacuum I paid for and reserved is not working. I had chosen Northridge for the proximity to my location. They referred me to the closest location to Simi Valley being Camarillo. I had to drive 40 minutes twice fir pick up and drop off. Employees at the Camarillo location were nicer. But, they don't tell you how to work the rental equipment. They don't tell you , you have to fill up the gas you use. ($13.45 a gallon they charged me 2.2 gallons I had used, $29.59) Seriously I saved a bunch of money by DIY, however be aware of the shit show of employees and services!

Also, they have a good variety of landscaping materials. Parking is available inside, but it is limited. We didn't encounter any issues though. We were helped as soon as we needed help. The gentleman who helped us made sure all was okay up until the end. No discounts as pebble prices are already lower per scoop; however, when we asked for a discount, the owner lightened up the atmosphere by telling us funny jokes. What I really liked was how fast and efficiently they delivered. In conclusion, we are very happy with the service we received here and definitely recommend this business.
