They rushed the job and had to come back twice because it was incomplete. I've since been calling them for weeks to have them finish the job correctly because my ceiling was left with flaking paint falling off. See photo- It just looks like it is going to fall at any moment and after calling back for weeks they still haven't been willing to just fix it. Company just keeps passing the buck and will make you go around in circles to fix any issues that will come up. Bottom Line, I'm 80 ydon't work with this company it could only end up as a headache if something goes wrong and there's plenty of other options period. Very friendly. We accepted this company to do our roof. We clearly told the REP before we began doing anything to the roof that THE ONLY REASON WE WILL DO IT IF ITS DONE RIGHT. because our roof was severely damaged over the years. House was built in 1925. We decided to go ahead and do it because the REP convinced us with words that because of the damage the WHOLE ROOF. Meaning trim and the roof literally was damaged. And was going to be replaced. However. The rep exaggerated on the build. Was very careful with the words coming out of his mouth VS the actual written contract. I just recommend READ THE CONTRACT. SLOWLY. BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. DO NOT SIGN. NOT ONE SINGLE PAPERWORK. UNTIL CLEARLY UNDERSTANDING THE ACTUAL PROJECT TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 3 star rating because we were misled at least 3 times. But in the upside. It was done in installments and only a $1,000 deposit. I honestly think we overpaid for our project. We were disappointed mainly on the EMPTY PROMISES OF THE REP. He definitely exaggerated on how much was actually going to be done to our roof. BE CAREFUL. READ CONTRACT. BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. NEVER GO BASED JUST ON WORDS COMING OUT OF PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY BIG COMPANIES THAT UTILIZE STRATEGIES TO MISLED YOU. AND CHANGE THE WORDS SPOKEN VS WORDS WRITTEN

It's always risky to allow someone to come into your home and make changes. On 4/3/2018 Ken came to our house the give us a free estimate. $22k+ for electrical rewiring for our old house. That's 2-3 times of what Google estimates. Seeing how they have good reviews on Yelp about quality, honesty, and punctuality we gave them a try (with half the house and using a loan repayment plan with tax returns). Ken left late afternoon claiming he will get a work permit the next day before he arrives at 8 am. When he arrives , my mother asked if he got the permit . " The city hall doesn't open till 9:30. I'll have another person go pick it up"--- which if you look on the website it actually opens at 7:30 am. The workers come for a day and put holes near the outlets. Why didn't they just use the old outlet instead and replace the wire?? Some thorough explaination would be appreciated. We asked the workers what their names were but neither of the employees spoke English. We told them to write their names down . Then, I went to the city hall @ 5 pm to check if they've approved the electrical work permit that was supposedly submitted. The clerk asks confused "are you sure it's not for commercial " "no, it's for residential" " there's no permit requested " I'm livid. If you're claiming to be a legitimate company doing things by the book, it's dishonest to say that you've requested a permit when you haven't. That needs to be done prior to getting work done. We decided to cancel as we have lost trust in the people working in our house . We could have put ourselves at risk and be fined. Ken returns today (4/5) for the cancellation slip. Then changes the story that they'll get the permit BEFORE inspections. Which defeats the purpose of getting a permit... I also did more homework and ran the names on California contractor license check (Google it) none of their names popped up under the search---Though the tanzana business license was active, it's a bit fishy. Ill attach pictures so I can show what I mean. I'm sure they would have done an excellent job, but the company wasnt transparent so we've decided to not to continue our project. Yes, I understand the house is old and need a lot of improvement , but stop pressuring us to fix every crack and hole when the current job is to just rewire the house.

I had some water damage around the front windows of our home in Arcadia. Sterling contacted us via a cold call, and we had them out to give us an estimate. Zack and Danielle came to give the estimate. They were friendly and professional. During their inspection, they noticed damage due to termites. Sterling is certified to do termite treatment, and they advised us to have the treatment. They also recommended that we have rain gutters installed, as not having them likely contributed to the damage we experienced. I really appreciated that they did not pressure us to have any additional work done. In the end, after discussing the quote, we agreed to proceed. The work crew came the very next day. Victor was the foreman, and he was professional, and kept us informed of how the job was going. Zack and Danielle told us the job would take about three days to complete, and the crew delivered as promised. We are very satisfied with the results. Sterling also had a QA manager who reviewed the results of the job, to make sure we were entirely satisfied. We are happy to recommend Sterling, and will happily consider them for any future projects..

Told this would be a 10 day job... ...in September!! (Now December, and not much has changed!)

September we initially signed a contract with them... ...December 6th and their "10 day" job is still leaving us without a kitchen... Thanks guys'!

Sterling Builders, Project Manager Steve, General Contractor Evan, and QC Evan are very professional. They remodeled my whole condo, kitchen, slow closing cabinets, slow closing vanity, floors, recessed lighting, vanity, and a tiled walk-in shower with a bench. I would refer Sterling to family, friends, neighbors and anyone looking into REMODELING. Stunning!! Living in peace with beauty. It cannot get any better. Thank-you!!

Eric and his team did an excellent job . They expanded my master bedroom including the bathroom and a walk in closet . I am not the easiest costumer I had so many questions every step .,and Eric was patient with me . They were very through and competitive . There were meetings to update me and go over the process . The entire experience was great !! Always on time . Great attitude. I want to say I spoke to a few general contractors and it is difficult to find a good one . If you are looking for a good contractors your search end here . I an very satisfied!!!

Initially, I quoted a few companies for my kitchen; however, given its size and of course inflation, it was going to be an expensive project. I found Concierge and decided to call them. The front desk was super friendly and knowledgeable, and it was easy to schedule a consultation for the following week. Project manager Matt came to my house was very professional and understood what I wanted to do with my kitchen. After everything was said, I decided to go with them because of the great pricing they offered me. From the beginning to the end of my project, Matt kept me updated on everything and was very transparent about the deadline and the budget. It was such a pleasure working with him. Also, I can't forget about the different teams that came in to demo and install everything. They were very professional and respectful of my home. Thank you guys! During the kitchen project, I decided to additionally have my downstairs bathroom redone, my laundry room flooring changed, and all new windows installed in my house. I thought all these additions would extend my project deadline, but it did not. This was all completed at the same time as my kitchen, and I couldn't be any happier. Now that I've made this review super long lol. I just wanted to say that I am incredibly amazed and happy with how my kitchen looks now; it doesn't even look like the same kitchen anymore. Even though I made other changes, I'm incredibly happy with those too, but more so with my kitchen, lol. Thank you for everything Concierge! If you're looking for great and affordable pricing for your next renovation project, look no further. Call Concierge and ask for Matthew Aharoni. You won't be disappointed.

Sage was the first to come out to offer a bid, explained his company, showed us previous work they've done & met up with us later in the week at a show room to look at materials. Their bid was in the average of what we were offered but it was the honesty, respect, and time that he took with us that won us over. It's made it well worth the cost. There have been minor hiccups as construction jobs usually have but there has been constant updates, communication, and assurances along the way. Everything is still going according to plan! They're almost finished with their job here but I expect I'll have nothing else to report other than a great job, speedy work, and recommend them to the fullest.

I was dubious about a whole kitchen remodel (moved doorway, knocked it down to drywall, moved electrical and pipes) but Joseph and his team came through on timelines. Thank you!

The pavers and driveway are honestly stunning - our neighbors have given us so many compliments already! The team was easy to work with, showed up when they said they would, and explained the process clearly along the way. Communicating over Whatsapp with them was great. We went back and forth proposing solutions to the drainage issues and where to put the stairs - they really listened to all our ideas and improved them. Their proposed amazing drainage solutions are effective and work great. The quality of their work and planning was top tier. They were respectful of our property and left the place clean when the job was done. It's not easy to find contractors you trust, but these guys absolutely delivered. Later, "Jacob" called me back later and expressed condescending concern that I had ONLY a $150K budget. I told him that's where the budget starts, not ends and asked him what the true cost was. He responded back that it's between $300 and $450 a square foot. So I told him, "Okay, if my calculations are correct, if I go with $350 a square foot so I'm not at the rock bottom, and I multiply that by 600 sq ft for a small ADU, that is roughly $210K for a price starting point with your company?" "Well no it's not exactly... "Then what did I miss?" "Well there's all sorts of other things blah blah blah..." Overall the tone was condescending and he made it clear that I didn't know what I was talking about, when in fact I have 15 years experience as a home designer that designs and budgets facelifts on houses that are about to go up for sale. I have dealt with contractors for many, many years. Eventually I got fed up with his tone and told him to cancel the appointment. As my grandma always said, you'll catch more flies with honey than hot sauce!

The actual contractor is not involved in the business he receives a kick back from the corporate CEO whom has similar arrangements with other contractors some of whom are no longer in business for poor business practices like the ones referenced above along with other infractions. The workers are professional and do good work. The sales practices are deceptive. I had four separate people come to my home in an attempt to upsale me. They didn't back down until I threatened to go to arbitration and file complaints with the BBB and Contractor's License Board. The two stars are for the constitution workers whom are actually sub contractors as they were not hired by the named contractor as he is not actively involved in what happens under his license. Lastly they will make up a reason work needs to start immediately like to take advantage of a nonexistent program. Thar is to lock you into a contract you only have 3 days to cancel. None of the programs referenced were ever identified nor was paperwork on these programs when I requested information. I definitely feel taken advantage of as they were not up front or transparent however they were very friendly as they committed their shady business. Be careful.
