My mother who always need the extra effort to buy from the store. Last week i went to winners located signal hill area. During the visit i went to rest room for couple of minutes. When i came back i was shocked that one beautiful lady name Ayla helping my mom in my absence. I love any Winners store that I enter. That is the truth. Who doesn't like name brand clothing at a significant discount? I have bought housewares, gifts, shoes, clothing and cocktail dresses from there, which has not only produced nice items chez moi, but also more money left in my jeans. What I like in particular about Signal Hill's Winners, is all of the high end items. In Winners Signal Hill, likely due to the demographic of that area, you can pick up Dolce and Gabbana, Chanel, and other higher end brand names. Most other winners stores have a spattering of those high end names, but primary stick to name brands such as Guess, Tommy Hilfiger and other brands in that price range. read more

My mother - an elderly person almost 80 years old was shopping at Winners Signal Hill on Feb 11. Cashier (ID #1034) charged her twice for the same item - thinking that my mother would not notice and would not be able to explain (she speaks poor English). Gave refund immediately, with some displeasure. It is the third time this is happening to my mother at this Winners. I shop there for years, never happened to me. Clearly they take advantage of the elderly people. Dishonest staff! Management doesn't want to bother to investigate such behavior! Completely unacceptable! read more

Not bad. I've never really shopped at a Winners on purpose (it's usually someone else that makes me go). This time I was on a mission to find some shorts and anything for summer wear. I found 2 shorts and a nice short-sleeve dress shirt for about $80. Regular price would've been $140. Not bad. Being from California, Winners best reminds me of a slightly more organized Ross. Instead of the mounds of Perry Ellis, Van Heusen, and other name brand big store clothes, here one sees the same brands neatly hung. Still, the clothes, toys, and knickknacks have all seen better days. These are the leftovers of the North American buybuybuy machine so they have been picked through at least three times at a different store a half season ago. You will likely save 30-50% off retail prices but what you don't buy flows downstream to some developing country, inundating that nation's people with the deluge of our consumption. read more

I'm the Duchess so I should probably write a review of this Winners. It's the one closest to home (I think - I haven't actually mapped it out) so it tends to be my go-to when I need something cheap(ish) and quick. There tend to be more high-end brands here than at other locations I've visited, and the store is quite large. They've also revamped the checkout process so that it's now more organized, and parking isn't usually a huge problem. Things that are not so peachy keen? This store can seem quite messy, and often they don't stock fast enough so that some sections are pretty bare (I mostly notice this in baby/children's clothes when I'm shopping for friends). It's not as well laid out as other stores and drives me nuts when I'm trying to find something. And this year their selection for jeans around Stampede was pretty minimal. Sounds funny, I know, but in the past I've visited around the same time and walked away with a new pair no problem. I'll keep visiting this location because it's close to home and usually does the job. read more

I can't believe this Winners location hasn't been reviewed yet! Why? Because this location gets the best stuff! There is a massive Runway area as soon as you walk in. What does this mean? Runway is what Winners calls their area for brand name products, where you can find clothing like premium denim, Ella Moss, Moschino, Wildfox Couture, and tons of other brands you don't normally see at Winners stores (unless you get lucky and see a one off). I snagged a great Ella Moss top there not long ago for $35, and looked it up on one of my favourite US shopping websites where it was selling for $90! So it's definitely not all old/last season/defective items. You really can score some great things! They also seem to get better shoes/bags/cosmetic items compared to other locations. As with any Winners store, it is crowded and you are likely to be run down by staff putting out merchandise (I've never in my life heard an 'excuse me' from a Winners employee as they blow past me). That said, you get what you pay for - I'm not going there for the service, I'm going there to find awesome, unique products at a great price, and that is what my rating is based on as this spot really delivers. I always manage to find too many things here to spend my money on. It's too bad it's the only location in the city with a good Runway selection, although I think they now have a small area at the Heritage Winners. Definitely worth checking out if you're the kind of shopper who enjoys a bit of digging and great finds! read more

Winners in Signal Hill,Calgary, the staffs need a proper training how to handle their customers. Very poor customer service. Navy , Anne and the man who's coordinator was trying to argue to their customer in fact it's your mistake that your tag price wasn't right ... it's not even tampered. You were saying that customer changed/switch it. (Blaming another customer wouldn't help which is in fact your staffs made a mistake for putting the wrong price tag) . Such a waste of time doing your shopping in the store and by the time you'll gonna pay your stuffs in the counter they'll just gonna tell you it's not the right price. The other staff was trying to be smart in fact she should explain to the customer their fault. Such a shame in such a huge company that your staffs can't do anything to their customer. Admit your mistake and not blaming to another customers your fault ... by the way what's the use of your security guard roaming around your store ... read more

Ballin' location! The richness of the area lends to some pretty high end items lurking around the white trash garments: Ferragamo, Chanel, Coach, all at the patented Winners price. On the classic Winners plastic hangers. Strewn around all over the place, sometimes even on the floor! I did find a pretty sweet pair of Nudie jeans here, and of course Westhills in general is a good place to spend a day shopping. If you are a guy, and you love UFC and brovine styles, Winners is the place to go. read more

I am a WINNERS Regular and have been for many years now. If there is a woman out there who has not heard of Winners or has never been!?! - Shame on you! why the heck not!? ( just kiddin). I am sure some may have their reasons, and as they say 'to each their own' ....but I am sure, to many many, women AND men, Winners is a no brainer - The Signal Hill Winners, is my Calgary pick! As mentioned in the comment below, they carry designer brands, like Dolce&Gabbana, Prada, Armani and many more. And well, I am a sucker for all those! But Winners has soooo much amazing stuff! My wardrobe AND my house are filled with items from Winners. From ALL my fave shoes, purses, yoga pants, bras, socks, shampoo, jewelry, my dining room chairs, pillows, sheets, picture frames, paintings, kids clothes, kids toys, kids books, home decor, presents for my hubby, for my mom, for my dad, house warming gifts, Christmas gifts....holly shaaaiitt ;) I can KEEP GOING! I have got just about everything from Winners. And the great thing is, you can really find great brands, high quality and really well priced items here. I Love saving money. I shop here very often. Sometimes I find some great bargains on clothes for my daughter. I also love Nike runners. I have found many pairs here for a great pice. It's not many times I go home from here with nothing. If you have not gone shopping here yet, you should. read more

I like it this store because it is very close to my home. One bad thing is the service from time to time. Last time one mexico lady cashier was very rude to me with very bad attitudes.
