I have been here a few times for a 1 hour body massage and I've received great service and attitude here. As a result, I have always given them at least a 30% tip. Today I wasn't able to get a body massage but decided get a 1 hour foot massage/reflexology instead. The foot massage was good but it wasn't a full hour - more like 50-55 mins. But I wasn't going to be nitpicking about it. I was about to give the masseuse my usual 30% tip. Then the guy at the front counter said that there's a $10 minimum tip. What? That means there's a mandatory 40% tip. I have no problem tipping accordingly to the type service that I've received (30% is more than the usual spa standard). However based on principle - you cannot it call it tipping when you make it mandatory. It's called a fee. So everyone take note, there's a 40% fee on top of your foot massage. read more

As far as the massage it wasn't bad, my boyfriend & I came here after a long day of work. It was very noisy, they were doing laundry in another room. As a full time working parent, I relish at any opportunity to relax and spend a little time for myself but this place was disappointing. The person who massaged my foot did a very mediocre job (at best) and kept looking at the clock like he couldn't wait to be done with this. The ambiance would've been okay if it wasn't for the group of other workers sitting on the other side of the partition talking very loudly to each other. The cost of the hour long foot massage (or only 50 minutes in my case, yup, the guy also cut me short on time like I wouldn't notice) was $25 but you also have to pay a mandatory $10 minimum tip. How this SH*THOLE has 5 stars is beyond me!!! Absolute horror this place! I decided to go here one evening last minute because I was in serious need of a massage after a very stressful day. STILL REGRETTING IT! First off its a dump looking place, smaller than my bath tub! I was taken downstairs which was scary but its happened at other places which always turn out great so ok fine! I told him I want his best masseuse instead I got the rudest, most miserable person to give me my massage. She did not speak a word of english!!! BAD SIGN ALREADY! Then I told her I have a rotator cuff injury to take it easy on that side and this bitch literally was digging into me! She was so rough, her hands felt like claws! Every 10 minutes or so I literally had to tell her no so hard, go easy, not so rough and she would nod after the lady on the other side of the curtain told her in their language and again she would go rough and hard on my skin. STOP EFFING NODDING AT ME IF YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND.It was torture, she was telling me to relax, how could I relax if she was killing me with her hands. Usually I say something or get up and leave or cause a scene but it was so late and I was so tired I did not bother. The place is dirty and dingy! Def a shady hand job place if you ask me! DO NOT NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL. ITS HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL TO THE FULLEST! I am still so mad at how horrible it was. I would have been happier flushing that money down the toilet. I've been coming to their old and this new place for years now, on average at least once every two weeks. Easily one of the best foot and body massage venues you could ever hope to find. Clean and comfortable place and consistently great massages by different masseuses. Definitely try the foot massage if you haven't already. I usually get 15 hr massage packages at a discount. If they are busy, they will stay open until pretty late. Remember to leave a very good tip if you receive a very good massage. read more

I came here for the first time this past week to address pain points on my body. My therapist was Beth and she gave me one of the most wonderful therapeutic massages I've ever gotten! She listened to my issues and really focused on those areas. I think I got a mix of reflexology and swedish (though I didn't really ask-- should have). In the past,I normally get deep tissue to address occasional muscle pains here and there from playing sports, but in the last year or so, I've been afflicted with bursitis and other issues. I came in here hoping for relief, but not really expecting much as my visits to other masseuses resulted in no change. So I was really surprised by Beth's techniques. Maybe the other masseuses I visited didn't know reflexology or maybe they just sucked. But having had Beth work on my trouble spots, I now know I can't ever expect less than this! She understood I came in to have my issues worked on, so she spent the entire duration of my massage (hour) focusing on the area. This was the first. Other masseuses seem to have a repertoire and want to work on your entire body, even when they know what your desired focus area is. I felt immediately better after the massage, but wanted to let a day or so go before really evaluating her massage. I don't feel cured by any means, but definitely much much better than when I went in. I probably will go see her in couple weeks for another massage. read more

Over the past 5 years I have been going to this spa. Never disappointed. It is clean and comfortable and always updated and renovated. As far as price, they are the cheapest ANYWHERE in the world except for maybe a village in a third world country but their service does not reflect that price. There are other places in Flushing competing with their price of $20 to $30 depending on the time of day or specials that they run but the others in Flushing are usually a dark unventilated basement with unclean linens. This place is well-kept and under management always to assure that it does not go down the slippery path of most Asian massage parlors. Their bathroom is new and very clean; a lovely fish tank in waiting room, recently they installed overhead bars so their therapists can effectively perform back-walking. They have a foot massage section and private rooms for whole body massage. They hire only hard-working, younger Asian massage therapists that pride themselves in performing top-notch massage. There is quite pleasant music in the background and a largely Asian clientele and a general feeling of appreciation for a good-quality legitimate service for a nominal fee. I always tip at least $20 because the initial fee is so low and they will work as hard as you allow them to. Recently I have been mostly attended by Annie, a young lady who has a nice clean energy, a lovely smile and very caring to any pain or complications. I actually have had a resurgence in my health since going on a regular basis. Her massage is gentle but effective and like any good therapist she has the necessary intuition to effectively accommodate another's healing. This place is a keeper. They are not money-hungry for tips. They just go throughout their day giving one quality massage after another. I have used at least 5 different providers here and although they do vary a bit, I have always been vey satisfied with their skillset and never left feeling not taken care of.
