I would like to say this is a place I would never take a pet to. I had a dog that I thought was…read moredone so they came over but my dog got up and I told them to leave the guy was very rude to me and my son. Later when that dog was suffering and dying they would not come the dog suffered for 18 hours could not pick him up or move him. Rotten people there

It has taken nearly a year for me to even be okay writing this review. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS…read moreHERE!!!!!! ESPECIALLY FOR AN EMERGENCY. I was traveling from CO to Utica after my mom got very ill and decided to bring my German shepherd with me. He started acting off when we got to Utica, so I called the emergency line for Lewiston vet clinic, we were met at the clinic by a younger male vet. My dog was in distress, and was clearly in pain. The vet did an ultrasound and noted that his spleen was displaced, and gave no other information. He gave the dog pain medication, and the dog was going to stay overnight. Well, the vet went home apparently, and when he got back in the morning...he said my dog was in very bad shape and that they tried to save him but were unable to. So the dog was sick, they saw an abnormality on the ultrasound, and then the vet decided to leave the dog alone rather than providing care. That is literally your job. My dog DIED, scared and alone in your clinic. They also couldn't be bothered to call me when they said that they would, so I ended up calling them only to be told the terrible news of Dracos passing.

Long behold the next day he was straining to urinate again :( Best Friends posted a picture on Facebook of my cat without my given consent and then blocked me when I confronted them to take it down. It's still up on thier page. I didn't sign any paper saying they could post a picture of Mr. Tatertot :( -I've left a photo they posted down below. It's captioned: My bladder hurts. I wasted my time and money (a little over $500) for this vet clinic to not resolve the issue, but only to watch it get worse. He initially started with crystals but graduated to blood clots too. The food Best friends prescibed isn't a prescription food, for my trusted vet said it could still have the potential to cause crystals. Will be sticking strictly to Hillcrest despite it being a drive and should've gone to them in the first place. As of this review: he is now at a different vet, totally blocked up with a catheter and ivs... This should have been done in the first place. Instead of him being sent home. Hillcrest is a more reasonable place with vets that KNOW what they're doing and for a lower price if you're willing to make the drive. I've heard other places like Blair and Onalaska have better vet clinics too.
