On July 11, 2026, it was pretty shocking to ask the white male with sunglasses folded up on his glasses about the status of my car, only to be rudely told that we're short-staffed. I understand staffing shortages, as they are customary for most companies; however, what is not customary is receiving a rude response followed by even more bad news. When a white female walked directly to the white man to give him her valet ticket, he fast-tracked getting her car without comment. So a black male gets a rude response for asking about the status of his car, while a white female is fast-tracked to the front of the line. Can't make this stuff up. Welcome to 2026. read more

Well we made it out to WinStar and it was the first visit ever for both of us but I think we both found that it didn't live up to the hype being the largest casino in the world and everything. We went in and immediately realized you're allowed to smoke inside because it's Oklahoma so we found the small non-smoking area to play in and sat down at some penny slots and then later and some other slot machines. As most trips to a casino go they were ups and downs LOL, but honestly I don't think we've been missing much this whole time because there's nothing special about this casino especially if you've been to Vegas or any of the Indian casinos in California. I'd say it's cool that it's only about an hour and 20 minute drive if I ever want to go hang out at a casino but can't say that that's very likely anytime soon. When my dad was getting up in age and unable to go to Las Vegas any longer, we started making trips in the car to Winstar. It's not Las Vegas, but it is a great substitute! We learned not to show up at check in time because the lines can get a little long. We would go during the week when we had that option because it's way less crowded. Once you get a Winstar card, they send you all kinds of deals to save money and to use for gambling. For some reason, my dad was the only one that would receive a postcard in the mail for a free gift, so we would always get in line and claim that! The crowd is a little bit older and in some ways I really enjoyed that. I love their slot machines and they do offer free soft drinks and coffee while you are gambling. You're not allowed to take drinks onto the casino floor so be sure to have some available in your room. One great benefit for older folks is that they have free wheelchairs available at most of the entrances. You just pick one up on your way in and can use it for your stay, then just leave it at the door when you leave. And if there aren't any available, the staff is usually very helpful in finding one for you. It's really nice not having to load up a wheelchair in a vehicle when you make a trip to Winstar. And if you prefer a scooter, there are several companies that will deliver it right to the hotel. We tried several of the restaurants in the casino and our favorite was the fish and chips. They have quite a variety of food places throughout the casino. They also have a large variety of slot machines, from the newest to the oldest. And their casino is huge and very nicely decorated, especially the newer parts. I'm looking forward to my next trip there! read more

Stayed for a comedy show which makes the hotel get packed pretty quickly. t the check in desk it went normally but I tink they're used to people having been there numerous times because i didn't receive any guidance on how to find my room but once i asked i was given guidance, not the best direction though. A massive casino on the border of Texas and Oklahoma! Took a road trip with my in laws. Hotel was fully booked so we didn't stay there but we visited for 2 days. It's a very unique "world concept" as it is the biggest casino in the U.S. each section of the casino is designed as a different country or state. There's an "Italy section", an "Asia" section with beautiful "diamond" like dragons hanging down in one of the many table gambling areas. They have so many restaurants from casual ambiance to high end experiences. We had a great time exploring and gambling briefly. We will definitely be returning to explore and experience more of the amenities like the pools, spa, gym etc! Highly, highly recommend if you're in the area. Terrible Experience - Completely Ruined My Stay by Veronica G. I wish I could give it a 0 stars. I actually wanted to extend my stay because I had been enjoying my experience at WinStar Hotel. Earlier that day, the front desk told me to come back in the evening because they were busy and someone would help me then. When I returned, Veronica G. Was there and refused to listen to a single word I said. Every response was simply "NO!" She showed absolutely no professionalism, respect, or willingness to help. Instead of letting me explain that another employee had asked me to come back later, she immediately called security for no legitimate reason. Ironically, the security officers were willing to listen and actually tried to understand what had happened. However, despite hearing my side, Veronica G. refused to reconsider or allow any resolution, and I was ultimately escorted out of the hotel over a simple request to extend my reservation. One employee's rude, hostile, and unprofessional behavior completely ruined what had otherwise been a great stay. I sincerely hope management reviews this incident carefully, because no guest should ever be treated this way. read more

We purchased the Spa Couples Package for my husband's birthday. This package included $200 dining credit among other perks. Our first night there we chose to eat at Panda Express and the cashiers told us that we couldn't charge it back to the room. I called the front desk to ask what restaurants we could use this credit for and she said all on premises. I let her know that Panda Express did not honor this and we had to pay it out of pocket. She said that her manager was going to go down and speak with this about this. I never heard anything back regarding a resolution. The Winstar Spa was amazing and by far the best thing about this casino resort. The staff was professional and the amenities were the best. We don't care much for smoking casinos, but we made the most of it. We frequent Choctaw (Durant) more often since the Sky Tower is a non smoking casino. I did not like the size of the pool for the guests and think that guests should be able to use the other pool for free or at least a lower rate. read more

Room was very clean and had everything we'd read they would have. AC worked great so did the TV. Was nice to be close to the casino floor. The parking lot is big so suggest if you have many bags to take in have someone drop you off at the hotel door before parking the car or use the valet service. The pool is over priced even when staying in the hotel you have to pay to have a place to sit. I never imagined I would leave WinStar with such a traumatic experience. What was supposed to be a fun and relaxing visit turned into one of the most upsetting experiences I've ever had. During my stay, I experienced a situation where I did not feel safe, protected, or properly supported after being sexually assaulted on the property. As a woman, safety should never feel optional at a resort and casino of this size. I was overwhelmed, emotional, and vulnerable, and I truly hoped the staff and security team would handle the situation with more care, urgency, and compassion. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and deeply shaken. This experience has affected me emotionally far beyond the night itself. It has made me anxious about traveling and trusting environments that are supposed to provide security for their guests. I believe WinStar has the ability and responsibility to improve how situations involving guest safety and trauma are handled, especially for women who may already feel vulnerable coming forward. I am writing this not out of anger, but out of disappointment and hope that no other guest has to leave feeling the way I did. I truly hope management takes concerns like this seriously, reviews their security and response procedures, and reaches out in an effort to make things right. Accountability, compassion, and genuine care for guest safety would go a long way.
