Some things seemed clean, towels and sheets. The not so good: this is what a motel looks like when the owner doesn't reinvest enough money into the property. Many places in the hallway and room had bad areas on the walls, paint peeling and bubbled up, that looked like water damage. The window in the room had two locks on it, one was broken so the noise from highway 35 was louder since it wouldn't seal completely. Carpets had stains in places. Chair in the room was worn. Bathroom had a water leak. Easy to tell because the bathroom vanity was swollen and missing the finish in places from what appears to be water damage. The tile in the bathroom must of come loose and repaired badly. The bottom of the bathroom door looks like it has suffered from water damage. No body wash in the dispenser in the shower. Voicemail still on the phone from 3 months ago. The WiFi didn't work. The furniture and fixtures will get worse if there is no reinvestment to replace and repair. The housekeepers could start to lose interest in doing a good job if everything is falling apart around them. Would choose a different place next time.

We seen housekeeping staff member who was spraying deodorizer on the carpet as we were walking up the hallway I stopped her and asked her if she could come inside of our room and spray our room as well and she did. Fast forward to Sunday night we were due to leave the next morning and we were getting our items together and my husband seen a roach runoff the luggage under the sofa he pulled the sofa from the wall took a picture of the roach and then killed it after that happened I could not turn off the lights to the room cause I was scared if I turned out the lights maybe other roaches would come out so it made for a horrible last night and they need to do some extermination and some carpet cleaning, and some wall painting in that hotel. There were cups and an ice bucket in the room so I took the ice bucket down to the ice machine I saw to get ice and low and behold the ice machine did not work. The TV had a remote, but the remote didn't work and you had to change volume and channels with the buttons located under the TV screen!!! But we didn't leave it on long as we were beat. There was no soap bars or shampoo in the bath area or sink area, just dispensers like you would find at a service station to dispense liquid soap and conditioner. I turned on the A/C and it came on and started cooling, but when the compressor kicked in it made a horrible grinding noise!! The wife fell asleep quick like she normally does and I was tired but everytime that compressor kicked in it would rattle me awake until exhaustion took over and I finally just passed out!! Woke up the next morning and it had gotten a lot quieter. It was almost like someone had got something Ina fan that finally just wore out. I usually don't give anything less than four stars, but in this case two was all I could muster. If your just dead and need a place to lay your head this will get you by, bit just don't expect quality!!

The owner took us to our room and explained the theme behind it. They also have a bar upstairs that serves complimentary wine, beer, coffee, water and a few breakfast bars.
