The process of the curb side appointments was explained to be very clearly and in detail. Upon arrival I called to notify I was outside. Within minutes a tech came out to ask follow up questions regarding my cat visit. I provided all the meds and supplements that I give my cat and everyone was extremely patient and explained in detail that what I was giving my cat was good. After my cat was seen, Dr William Dawkins explained what he found in my cat. He was very friendly and explained everything. He was not pushy or giving me unnecessary recommendations of what to do with my cat. Dr only stated a few things to keep an eye on, but said not to worry about at this time. He was very patient in answering all my questions. When my cat was brought back out to my car, her medicine was explained in detail on how to administer it and answered all my questions. All in all I was impressed with the level of professionalism and friendliness from all the staff at this hospital. Everything was a simple process and I was in and out. Highly recommend!

Dr. Magnotta was her first vet and she was great! Ver compassionate and took very good care of Millie. But she left not long ago and I was nervous who would be Millie's next vet there. Shep, our other fur baby began his visit there and Dr. Barker (ha ha) was his vet. She was just as awesome! Shep is older (black lab, about 15-16 yrs) and has trouble with his back legs so we needed to find a solution to help alleviate his pain. He wouldn't go up and down the stairs at home nor the ramp we built for the back deck. Anyway Dr. barker started him in Adequin shots and I swear Shep was a whole new dog! So now Mille and Shep both see Dr. barker and I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a vet. Bottom line, the staff at Guilford Jamestown is wonderful and compassionate people and we will continue to make them our primary vet!!

Dr Tart was nice, down to earth, reasonable, etc. It was clear he wasn't trying to sell us anything and wanted to get us whatever we needed for our dog to be healthy. They made multiple suggestions as to how we could help her allergies. The visit was under $100 and that included a week of Apoquel for $29-ish. We will definitely be back. The vet tech was TOTALLY an animal person and was so friendly. I could hear her talking to my dog in the back. When you arrive, they have you text them and they tell you when to come in. We were texted within 3-4 minutes and were taken to a room within 5 mins.

The only solution they continued to push down our throat was spending thousands of dollars on X-Rays and MRIs. Every time we brought his bloody stool in for them to "test" (doubt they tested anything because it always magically came back normal) They never gave us any suggestions on alternative ways to help solve his problem or what other things it could be. We have since contacted a non profit rescue with questions because we are so frustrated with this situation and just want our dog to feel better. They immediately started offering us some alternative ideas of what it could be and provided us with medication to try to resolve his issue. Everything they have suggested has worked and I would trust them with my dog before I would trust anyone at UCAH. Dr Bailey Murphy is heartless and will shame you if you even remotely push back on anything she says if you don't buy the $100 dog food they shove down your throat. When we requested our animals records from them so we could take them somewhere else, she gave them to us. Upon reading the records, she shamed us throughout the records and was more concerned about how bad we looked "for the record" than helping us. They do not care about your animals and are genuinely unbothered if your animal lives or dies.

He took 2 scans, told us it was a broken 4th metatarsal, and sent us home with medication. 2 days later, I took her back as there was no improvement. He did 2 additional scans. However, since we are not allowed in the building and they use an archaic system of handwritten notes and minimal communication, he took a picture of the scan with his phone and brought it outside to me. He told me there was a crack in the bone and showed it to me. There was also concerns about what looked like a completely severed bone in the scan. Turns out it was someone's finger who took the scan and we all laughed it off. More meds, and sent home. Another 2 days passed and she was not improving, we took her back for a laser treatment. He told my husband that our dog was playing us and she was completely fine. Even brought him inside to see she was faking. He did tell me that she had an orthopedic issue on her knee and he doesn't do orthopedic. I contacted another vet who does orthopedic and took her in to see them. I requested that her records be sent over and they were a mess. There is no proof that we have ever given her heart worm or flea and tick even though we purchased it from Emerywood. All of the notes are handwritten and hard to read. But worst of all the second set of scans is gone! They either didn't save them or deleted them intentionally. They told the new vet there was only one set of scans. I called to tell them that is not true and Dr Beck thought he was in the phone with someone at the vet... and started talking about me like I am making this up and he had already talked to me about it. I was so confused and told him that I remember a second set of scans, he again said nope and sent the original scans again. The new vet has now seen our dog 3 times, sedated her to take 20+ scans of her and is now keeping her overnight as 3 weeks later she has gotten nothing but worse. They said her toe was never broken, that there is no crack on the scan. They also said it is possible that the limp is actually due to an infection. She has been running a fever for weeks, cannot walk at all, and is refusing food and water now. She sees a specialist tomorrow and I am praying that it isn't too late to fix whatever this issue is. I'm so glad someone finally listened to us and recognized that we were not being dramatic and the dog is not faking anything.

All their instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The ONLY gripe I have is about how they handled their weather delay today. They decided to do a 2 hour delay due to weather but the only place this information was available was on Facebook. I'm not on Facebook. There was a whole line standing outside the clinic for like 40 minutes in the cold because people with appointments were not called, texted, or emailed. There was no information about the delay on the website or on the answering machine. A random woman in line saw it on facebook and then told all of us. Better communication would be helpful. That is it. My baby made it through her procedure and now she is home resting peacefully.

There is a standard drop off time, between 8-9 AM, which is pretty standard for things like this. I didn't mind the wait - they called at 2pm to say Panda was finished. I'd rather they take the time to do it well! And well they did. I've had a poor experience with the unpersonalized experience of big box grooming businesses, and my dog reacted poorly. When I came in, I was immediately greeted warmly! Panda was too, and they didn't crowd or rush at her in the lobby, so my shy girl was able to feel a bit better about being whisked away. When we picked her up, the owners husband and I chatted a bit, and he told me about her experience! I was so glad that she was well taken care of, and she's adorable as heck! I'm glad I gave her a shot, and my shy nervous dog got a great hair cut. They even (tried) to file her nails down, rather than leaving them sharp (But of course my dog wouldn't cooperate with that particular thing, but I appreciate their efforts!) Thanks guys, if you see this. I will be bringing her back!
