Linda's pet haven is wonderful and has A+ customer service. They always listen to my preferences and refer back to my dog's profile for every groom which is imperative per my allergies. They have an express groom option for faster drop off and pick up windows which I opt for with my dog since she is anxious (this does cost extra) but they are very transparent with pricing and happy to answer and questions. Unbelievable!!! My 13 year old doggie has been terrified of groomers for 10 long years due to a negative experience at PetsMart. I have tried using groomers at the vet only to pick him up looking like a sloppy, nervous wreck because no one could figure out how to handle his anxiety, if they would bother to groom him at all. The vet prescribed Xanax for him due to how difficult it is to cut his nails. Today, I took a chance on Linda's. From the initial phone conversation, Linda was pleasant and mild mannered. She had a plan, told me exactly which tranquilizer to get from the vet. When she told me that he was "very good, no problem at all," I thought for sure she was mistaken. Not only did I pick up a calm dog, he was beautifully groomed. She was even able to trim his nails. I cried in the car because I was so relieved for him and for us. He hasn't looked this tidy in years. My old boy will be a regular customer for the rest of his life. Thank you, Linda!!! All I can say is don't go here. I dropped my dog off around 8am. he was finally ready around 4:30pm! They didn't have a clue how to appropriately trim his fur. He looks awful!! When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I didn't get an apology. I got an attitude that they were right. I'm wrong. I 'm so disappointed. i hope his fur grows out quickly. read more

We brought our Wheaten Terrier, Séamus, to Linda yesterday. He was in a terrible state. His coat was recovering from a really bad cut by another groomer in the area and long overdue for a groom due to surgery and wearing a cone for two weeks following. He was matted around his neck, between his paws and at the back of his legs. Linda did a wonderful job. She dealt with all his issues without resorting to shaving down. He has a lovely wheaten head, his ears are beautifully clean and plucked and his coat is cut to the perfect length for our needs. Sara does an excellent job with my dog. I have been going to Linda's for nearly two years. They are always polite and greet Luna with love. Luna is always happy to stay. Sara grooms her exactly how I ask each time. Prices are very reasonable compared to nearby groomers. I've never had a problem scheduling appointments that works with my schedule. I called and informed them that my puppy was not doing well with grooming and that I wanted them to prioritize a few areas and then just do what he was ok with. My dog came back groomed well, but I was informed they had to muzzle him. He has not yet been trained to a muzzle. And now I do not look forward to trying to train him to one. Since this appointment, I have been having to very slowly counter-condition him to even getting brushed. Called this place the same day I needed my dog groomed and they were able to fit my little guy into their schedule. Let me assure you: if my dogs could speak, they would tell you that Linda is gentle and kind, understanding and patient. I don't know what happened with the previous customer,"Bill C.",....but my service was excellent. Sometimes people just have a bad day I guess. I wanted to take my Bichon Frise there for the first time and saw the negative review and asked them about it. I research new places when I need a service to fit my budget and needs and they were in a 2nd place rating.They reassured me that there was some kind of misunderstanding and that they were unaware of the negative review, but they used to be in first place until that one review. I decided to take a chance and I am glad. I had bathed and brushed the matted fur from my dog last week and thought I had done a fairly decent job.....but after she was bathed and groomed at Pet Haven, I am a believer now. She isn't the same dog, she smells great, and is beautiful! As a matter of fact, I thought the dog I had rescued two weeks ago must be a mix because she didn't look like a typical Bichon Frise...she had been neglected because her previous owner had taken ill. But, now, after they cleaned her up and gave her a minimal cut, I see the obvious Bichon traits. The staff was very courteous and laid back but professional. The the price was very reasonable at 41 dollars. I definitely will budget more visits for the future. My dog seemed to enjoy it as well. They are less than ten minutes from me, but I would go farther for good customer service, which I find hard to get these days. I don't normally write customer reviews, this was my first trip to a groomer, and I am glad I made the right choice. I hope my review will put them back in first place where they belong.
