As you approach, there is a place for curbside voting, but I decided to grab my mask and head inside. There were clear guidelines to take you into and out of the polling center. Check-in was an easy process, no ID required. Simply asked for name, address, DOB to confirm my identity. After that, you go to a second station where they give you your paper ballot and explain the modern COVID process for voting. Once you do that, you go fill out your ballot with a sign that indicates you were at that station and it needs to be sanitized. After you fill it out, you leave the sign, and take your ballot to the scanner. There it is scanned in and your vote is counted! GO DO IT! As a community center... I have no idea about the facilities other than what I saw visually. There is a gym, with enough basketball space for four halfcourt games. Seemed to be in very well kept condition. Two snack machines available, a multi-purpose room (looked like it was used for yoga and aerobics) and a small weight room. On the way in, there is a good size playground for the kids. GO VOTE!

I came by here around 5:50pm on a Saturday afternoon because my kid wanted to go to the park. The park is located behind the recreation center and is accesible by the parking lot on the side of the building. There is a swing set with two baby swings and two regular swings. There is a full playground set as well. There are 3 benches for people to sit. A basketball court is also present. A little to the right is a tennis court. There are 3 parks that are very close. I would say it was moderately busy with maybe 3-5 families present. My kid was initially playing by himself on the playground set before he joined some other kids playing basketball. Overall, it's a nice park and I would recommend it.

From the external amenities, like the tennis courts, amazing playground, three ball fields, and additional spaces, to the entire inside of the rec center, this center is an asset to High Point. Boasting nice external bathrooms, this is a great place to bring littles on the weekend. The ball fields can be reserved for different user groups. I am so glad that a nice, clean, enjoyable space like this exists.

And let's not forget the lake with the amazing waterfall adjacent to it. In the Summers they have Friday Lights where you can watch Movies in the screen under the stars. What's also cool is our newly updated park and dog park!!! You can rent the spaces outside to have a function under the tents as well as renting out The Hut. All of this are wonderful perks in being a Pineville Resident. I remember when I moved out of the city limits(5 minutes from it. Lol) everyone said "there's nothing to do in Pineville" but that has changed dramatically and I'm so happy to have brought my Home in this Tiny Big Little Town
