Late delivery, bad service, overpriced, & not fresh flowers. Ordered the flowers in advance for an elopement. I picked a 10am - 10:30am time slot for delivery. Flowers arrived at 10:44am. Husband called and they were dismissive. I called for an update on the flowers and they just said it was being delivered - not much information given past that. The flowers were also not fresh and put together in a sloppy manner. Paid $219. I do not recommend. read more

This place has new owners and is amazing. Their flower arrangements are beautiful and exceeded my wife's expectations. I accidentally forgot an anniversary and needed a last minute rescue. The nice ladies at WPF got just what I needed, delivered on time and saved the day.  We will definitely use them again. read more

Value/Service: Picked up a dozen red long stemmed roses + 5 Mylar balloons for my wife's birthday on March 7, 2024 from the store itself. Five minutes later was at home. By Saturday night, one of the balloons was barely floating, and by Sunday morning was on the floor. The remaining 4 balloons were floating at half staff by Tuesday. My wife called and spoke with an owner who argued that it was not their fault that the $30 worth of balloons did not last 3 days. No offer to replace the balloons was made. The flowers at this writing are fine. In comparison, the Mylar balloons at Dollar Tree we had from 1 month ago lasted 3 weeks. Do not waste your time or money patronizing this place. It is only because of the bad attitude of the owner that I was motivated to place this negative rating online. Let the owner(s) make note of that. Watch your words because they may come back to bite YOUR butt. Lastly, it is located in the back of strip mall and half way behind God's back. For the sake of the trusting public, I hope it either changes it's ways or goes bust. read more

I live out of state and ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mom's birthday. I prefer to use small local businesses rather than the big distributors and have had bad experiences with other Winter Park florists in the past but NOT with Winter Park Florist. The bouquet was delivered on time and looked exactly like what I ordered. My mom loved the flowers and the delivery driver even offered to take a quick picture of her when they were delivered. I placed an order on Feb 9th for a Valentines day delivery. Come Feb 14th I was home all day awaiting delivery and when 6pm came around I was starting to wonder why they haven't shown up yet. I call Winter Park Florist to see is I could get an ETA but instead got a pre-recorder message stating they were closed for Memorial Day (That was a while ago)... I understand this is an incredibly busy time for florists but that's why I placed my order a week ahead to avoid a late delivery. I called again 2 hours later at 8pm to try to cancel because this was way to late in the day for a delivery and got the same message again. I was able to get in touch with Bloom Nation who said they would attempt and call me back with a cancelation but they didn't call me back until this morning Feb 15th at 9am. I asked for a full refund and to please cancel the order. Valentines day has passed and I already look like a jerk for having nothing on Valentines day for my Wife. Shortly after the call at 10:30am the flowers showed up a day late. I asked the delivery person why they showed up but he claimed to not speak English so I couldn't communicate my issue with him. He refused to take them back even when I said I no longer want them. Shortly after I received another call from Bloom Nation to confirm delivery and I explained this whole situation to them. They reached out to Winter Park Florist to ask for a refund on my behalf and were told all they we're willing to do was offer a discount on my next purchase! Ordered a stand for a funeral. When we went and saw what was displayed, the $150 stand looked about $75 and the card had misspellings. When I reached out, all they could say was sorry. Looked like a two year old wrote the card. We were embarrassed. read more

Haven't done it in a while and things have been tense with us because of all family matters. Been a tough 2 years. So, I needed them delivered to her office before noon. Nothing. Then I said they close at 4. Nothing. No delivery. This company wrecked a special Valentines that I had planned. Don't use them. When I called for updates, I'm talking with people in India I believe. I work at a Ophthalmology office and one of my patients sent me flower thanking me for getting her surgery rescheduled quickly. The flowers were delivered to my office at 3 pm on a Friday when our hours are clearly posted on our door, 8am till noon on fridays, closed Saturday and Sunday. So the flowers sat outside our door until Monday morning at 8 am. When I called Winter Park Florist the lady that answered the phone was very rude I explained what happened she said not my problem you were closed. I told her that I wanted the flowers replaced and redelivered today, she said no that comes out of my pocket. Then she said she would send new flowers but the customer had to pay the delivery fee. When I didn't receive the flowers by late after I called again and the rude lady said she was not Wendy new flowers and I could take it up with the person that originally sent them. I have ordered orchids two times from this florist. Orchids last for weeks or months; we by them often. BUT NOT from Winter Park Florist your orchids will die quickly. Maybe choose another florist because Winter park Florist orchids are expensive and usually die in several days. read more

SUCH A DISAPOINTMENT! When I called their number I was forwarded to an answering service who were of no help. When I called the shop the following day I was promised that they would resolve the problem with a credit or refund and that they would follow up with me. They didn't and completely dropped the ball. He doesn't have a clue on flowers and said that the lady on the phone was awesome and made sure her creation would be amazing. AND IT WAS! My parents had roses sent to my daughter for her birthday since they couldn't be with her that day due to the lockdown and the roses came and were so dark, they looked like they were dying already. We were recommended to this florist by our church for my fathers funeral. The flowers arrived at the funeral home on time but the they did not give us the color of flowers we request and they were all the same size of arrangements. We paid for one large and two smaller based on the church requirements. I emailed the owner and left her several voice messages to contact me. She never bothered to respond so I would never use them again or recommend them. Very poor customer service especially from an owner. read more
