We used this booking company through VRBO and had to cancel our reservation 3 days prior to arrival and 7 days prior to departure. We understood that we would not get our rental fee back but they refused to refund the cleaning fee. They were completely inflexible and preferred to take our money for a service they were not giving. There are better options in Winter Park- please use a different booking company. read more

I wish I could give them less than one star. I thought I would plan a really nice family christmas week there so I started early with reserving the condo in AUG 2025. It was very expensive $4797.59 for 4 nights. Since Winter Park collected monies for the trip insurance for Spot, and I was SPECIFICALLY TOLD ON AUG 24 2025 on the phone while booking my christmas reservation that "the trip including insurance was FULLY REFUNDABLE" prior to 22 days before arrival. I recieved an email yesterday 9-4-25 from SPOT which I assumed at first glance was junk marketing. I then noticed it said action needed. I was confused by this and called Winter Park. It was very confusing because I assumed everything was good since I specifically asked for trip ins to be put on the trip. I filled in names of the travelers online and thought it was all good. It seems QUITE DECEIVING on the part of WP to collect over $317 and NOT add the actual ins for each person to the trip? This is SENSELESS! It is NOT THE CUSTOMER who contracted a 3rd party, and I did not pay the 3rd party. I paid Winter Park for trip coverage. Winter Park sends so many marketing emails that anyone who reserves might miss the SMALL PRINT or an email. Since the scheduled trip is months away, it seems as though this is an opportunity to RIP OFF people who reserve and buy trip insurance and then find out on DAY 11, that they somehow did not correctly complete creating an account with SPOT to add names of travelers. It was UNCLEAR since I paid $317 to WINTER PARK for insurance, that you must take time to go create an account with their 3rd party SPOT. This is absurd, senseless and time consuming. WInter Park should have sent a warning email (reminding customers to add travelers if not done) but even more so, WINTER PARK SHOULD ADD THE TRAVELERS AT THE RESERVATION and this could have been avoided. I may have then kept all 5 of my reserved stays (each with trip ins) and totaling well above $10K. Instead I called and canceled each one. This experience with them was SO BAD that I canceled ALL future reserved stays and I am writing this to warn future possible customers. When I first called Winter Park on DAY 11 after booking DEC to explain that I just then received an email from SPOT and was totally confused, they pushed it off and told me to contact SPOT. SPOT told me to contact Winter Park and back and forth it went. They both REFUSED to refund the $317. This policy is UNFAIR, UNCLEAR given the timing of the future trip. They've lost me as a customer forever, and just to be clear from this point going forward, I will return to EPIC for skiing. If you do ski winter park, I suggest looking into several other alternatives for lodging. There are many other BETTER options, and they do have more fair policies on cancellations. read more

I had an unexpected ski injury, and asked to reschedule my trip. They were unsympathetic and kept my $2,400. The worst part is that they ended up booking the unit the weekend I had to cancel so they did not lose out on any money. I didn't even ask for a refund first! I thought I was being perfectly reasonable by trying to meet them halfway by asking to rebook at a later date. I should add that this request wasn't made last minute. I gave them two weeks notice. We've booked with them now 3 or maybe even 4 times. A good experience so far every time. You also get a 15% discount for being a return guest. We've stayed in a home on Rendevous which was nice and super affordable. Probably bc it was only 3 bedrooms. Otherwise very spacious. Stayed in a condo at Frazier Crossing. 1 bedroom with walkout to hot tub. Certainly suitable for 3 people. Lastly, we rented a large home with them for Easter 2019. It turned out the owners pulled the listing with WPLodging Co and so they had to switch us to a similar home. They made up the difference and luckily they had one. It stunk that it happened, but they were kind and very accommodating. We just checked out this week from a 6 night stay, and before our Denver Airport arrival, they called to check in and see how our stay went. They also have a text feature which is SO NICE. When we decided to add a night, it was easily done over text message. Thanks for a great stay, again. We'll be back! read more

We stayed for thanksgiving 2016 for a week. Everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful and kind. We live in another state so they helped plan our itinerary and gave great ideas on how to spend our days. The house we rented had everything we needed and more. It really doesn't get much better. These guys are first class, provide great advice and don't cut corners. Customer service leads; they are always on top of things, made terrific vacation planning tips (restaurants, activities, advice) and kept checking in at various points to assure our good experience. Winter Park Lodging Company.. more like Winter Park Lodging Family! Wow. The people that work at WPLCO are great. I spoke with Margaret on the phone before I checked in and she was great, so kind and she was funny as well! What wasn't funny was how clean the hot tub was. The hot tub guy, Christian was checking the tub as we arrived early and he was so helpful! Also funny! Maybe even funnier than Margaret. He stopped what he was doing to talk with us and give us pointers of what to do during our stay. Overall, I absolutely recommend staying with WPLCO. They will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you want! read more

Very nice resort. Clean. We stayed in a studio. Plenty of room for two people. Underground parking for free in the summer time. We had some issues with altitude and the resort offers a free clinic. Very friendly and helpful. Restaurants at the resort are pricey. Better deals in town for food and drinks. Great location for summer hiking and enjoying the mountains. Less than hour to the national park. Denver and Vail were just over an hour. We would definitely stay at this property again. read more

Property on Fox trail Rented, this companies largest possible rental in bedrooms as well as number of people it can sleep. Friendly staff and service, and overall somewhere I would recommend to others as well as definitely return again if we run out of unique locations to host family reunions. so don't take my criticism too harshly because I am nitpicking as the cost was high (justifiably so) Keep in mind, this place was awesome in so many ways, but at nearly $700 per night, I'm going to have some extremely high expectations and my goal would be for the management team to read this and recognize these valid concerns at the price range for this house and get some things upgraded or tended to, in order to match the rest of the house because in every other portion of the house, the top of the line expectation was met or exceeded issues: back yard/firepit area not clean or mowed so we could not utilize for a bonfire night. drain in one of the first floor bathrooms would not drain fast enough many pots/pans/dishes were chipped, scraped. we were told we would have access to both garages on our email communication with the door codes but when we tried it on the second garage it did not work and we noticed a portion of the house also seemed to be above the garage that we did not have access to. out dated gaming consoles as well as horrible Internet connection that completely shut off randomly. cabin sleeps 30, yet outdoor up and lower deck total chairs of 8 max grill and deck were outdated, and the price they spent on the grill should match the million dollar price of the house, buying a $300 grill just doesn't cut it, that grill should be top of the line. (granted I understand that we are probably one of few times this property is rented in the summer and these might not even be worth it) read more

We had a great trip. The place was great. The only negative feedback at all is to get another screen for the slider. Saturday when we got there was an unusually hot day and the place had not been opened up at all so it was really hot up in he loft. On a very positive note. Major kudos to the maintenance team. Saturday night after hours I called to try and get them to help me get the AC going. He told me that there was no AC but he would bring over an extra fan to help cool the place down. He was there in 15 minutes. On Sunday night the TV got screwed up and the guys came over in 10 minutes to fix it. You cant ask for better service then that. We would definitely recommend the company to anyone heading out to that area for a vacation. read more

I'm a long time skier and this year we decided to take a ski trip to Winter Park for the first time. We booked a studio through WPLC. Our suite overlooked the hot tub area, and that was the problem. The noise from the pool even during daytime is loud enough that you have to turn things up to hear them (the windows might as well not exist since they let all noise through). The real problem though is the pool is open until 11, which means if you're not a night owl, you will not be sleeping before 11 because the party at the pool lasted until 11 both nights--and Sunday was actually worse than Saturday. We ended up calling the main number to get security to quiet them down. The management was apologetic, but this is two of the worst nights of sleep we've gotten anywhere (including downtown Manhattan) and really has just killed the trip. It's hard to want to get up and ski when you're exhausted and not in a good way. The management offered to move us--to another room above the pool, so not exactly fixing the problem. They did offer to refund one of our nights as well, but I told them frankly, we'll never come back here. The bottom line here is: if you end up getting booked on the pool side of one of these units, STAY HOME or GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. It's not worth the trip to have your vacation ruined. read more
