It was such a disappointment when Covid happened and not being able to enjoy the fair last year but I'm so excited that it will be going on in 2021. I'm not the biggest fan of rides although the ones here I will selectively enjoy but the best part to me is going through and seeing all the 4H animals including the horses the cows, chickens, goats, rabbits and all the other great showcases they offer. The photography contest is one of my personal favorites and I also love that they do baking contests as well as woodworking and Legos for kids. It's fun for the entire family and has something to offer for all age groups. The food is pretty good for festival food and I believe they've even added a craft beer tent which is a huge plus. I will be returning year after year, no doubt about that!

Between the actors knowing when to move to other people and when to gather around. There was one part with a few actors who ignored my girlfriend as she ran an went straight for me, holding me agenst the fence as others went by and me being scared out my mind. Finally getting away they again cornered me as my girlfriend laughed away at the entrance to the next area. Between jump scares, hidden areas where ghosts an ghouls jump out of that you don't expect this place is worth every dime you pay for. Held annually, Westchester Wine and Food Festival spans five glorious days of eating, drinking and meeting very nice people and business owners. I attended the Grand Tasting this weekend after a two friends both kept pestering me to go. They kept saying how great it was and I should buy a ticket too. I gave into peer pressure and bought a ticket (was able to snag the early bird discount) using a link my friend sent to me. Was glad they told me way in advance so I could benefit from the early bird discounted price too. Upon entering the event, I was pleasantly surprised. Many tents with a wide variety of food ranging from vegetarian burgers to fresh ceviches to decadent desserts and pastries. Plus the Bona Bona ice cream truck gave out huge portions of their delicious gourmet ice cream (I had the banana walnut this time. Tried the chefs mint last time. Yum!). But the real star of this event was the wine. The wine selection spanned across multiple tents, lots of variety and quality. Harrison Wine Vault was the exclusive sponsor of the wines for this year's festival (in previous years it was Zachys of Scarsdale). One of the great things about the WWFF is they publish a complete online list of vendors and specific wines for the event (see http://winefood.westchestermagazine.com/tickets/). Nice to have an opportunity to check out the selection ahead of the festival, instead of finding out after you buy the ticket. There was a VIP tent too, but honestly, it wasn't necessary in order to enjoy this event (unless you are wine obsessed - the VIP wines are in there but you need to purchase the more expensive Connoisseurs Tent ticket. Not needed unless you wish to IMO). The general admission ticket main area had so much, I wasn't able to try everything. Plus they gave away free stuff, including sparkling beverages from Italy. There's a sign on the wall which says 'Expanding soon with many more entertainment products'. 3) wait time was way over what we were quoted. For $10, it's worth the ride but, due to its limitations, wait was not short at all. We were told 20 minutes but, truthfully, we waited over 45 mins to ride a short 10 min ride.
