I was here 2 times this week for work. One using the golfing simulator. Both times I have had to ask for service multiple times. Basic, water with food and had to wait. Simulator was not set up with basics I had to ask for tees and help setting up the simulator.I felt like I was inconveniencing the servers. The service was very good. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. It was busy on a Friday night and people were mostly having a good time. Our problem was the food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The garlic butter for the bread was the best thing. The soup was too spicy for me and I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The salad was fine. The shrimp and salmon were cooked well but the toppings were bland. There was way too much rice pilaf and the broccoli was fresh, not frozen so that's a definite positive but it had no seasoning. It was pretty good when I put some salt and pepper on it and whatever the mixed seasoning on the table was. The food could use a bit more seasoning in everything but the soup and butter. Appetizers were onions rings and fried ravioli. I can make better ones in my air frier with store bought ones, way over priced for the amount we received. Our group ordered shrimp pasta. No flavor at all, no seasoning and the shrimp was too over cooked. Pure rubber!! You could tell the pasta sat under a heat lamp. Noodles were hard and dry and the sauce had a hard film. The best thing about Wintergreen is the beer. At least it's cold. Breaded buffalo wings are a rubbery mess. Mozzarella sticks are average. Don't get appetizers here, we did not get entrees so I can't say anything about that. Golf simulators are outdated. I've went there 2 times and I'll never go back again. The food is so fake everything seems to be reheated in a microwave. First time I got pasta and it was pretty much butter noodles with shrimp. I thought maybe I just ordered something that wasn't good so I went back a different time and just ordered chicken tenders and it wasn't even a really piece of meat it was an over processed very small like almost the cheapest chicken tender and bender had to offer. We ate here twice while we were in the area for my wife's class reunion. It's the closest restaurant to the Best Western Hotel. The food was good for both visits and the service was friendly and attentive. This is good basic American food. Nothing fancy, but well prepared for what it is with good service. Our drinks were just okay. My wife likes Kahlua and Cream and they had to use the little coffee half and half containers for the cream. It tasted okay, but obviously not optimal. They probably don't get that many orders for drinks with cream/half & half, so may not be reasonable to expect them to have fresh half & half. I had more basic drinks and they were fine. They have a generous pour. We'll eat here again in another 10 years for the next reunion, but won't order Kahlua and Cream. read more

We sat in the dining area and had to listen to her berate the staff about every little thing AND complain about our order since we had asked for a simple modification. The food was terrible. I ordered a burger and it was the most flavorless burger I have ever had. The environment was your typical bar setting which is what it is. Their website is not accurate so we showed up for an event that the website said started after we arrived but it was finished before we sat down. Went here on recommendation. Very attractive with ample parking. Prices were very high for this location. We nearly left due to high prices and lack of menu choices. The only bright spot was the waitress. Extremely polite and outgoing. We split the Walleye dinner and substituted a Second Walleye fillet in lieu of the shrimp. $2. Up charge. The filets were small and not nearly as good as I am accustomed to. Meal came with green beans that were tough and came with a long length of bean stalk. 7". You can hit golf balls inside. and 2. the drinks are cheap, but not cheap enough to ever make the service good or the food even passable. The amount of alcohol necessary to make this place tolerable would kill several humans. If you have someone in your life that you hate, refer this place to them so they can endure the eternal suffering that is an evening at one of the worst places ever. Terrible my husband said his burger had no flavor and my cod strips were the same, didn't taste like fish, didn't taste like anything. The seasoned sour cream taste like sour cream only, the tarter sauce to go with the fish had a film of yellow over the top. Absolutely disgusting. This was the worse dining experience I have ever had. We went for a family lunch last weekend to Wintergreens. Our waitress was new but she was very sweet and was trying very hard. We did not have an issue at all with our waitress. Our issue was with food quality/sanitation and the unprofessional behavior of the manager. My mother's side salad & brother's sandwich had hairs in it. When we talked to the manager because of this and that it took over an hour to get our food, he was aggressive and confrontational before we could even say a word. As we tried to talk to him calmly, he continued to be rude. We finally just left. It is too bad because I have been to Winter Greens before and was impressed but this last experience was so bad, I will never return. read more

Large portions and great prices. I wish they'd open one in North Branch, they could really use a place like this. This place has a couple things going for it - location / its cute .....and wait.....I guess thats the two things. Isanti is a tiny town and there are few options for dining out. The Wintergreens Grill is cute inside. The restaurant side is sunny and nice. The Bar/Grill side is comfortable and has a couple TV's for your sports enjoyment. The fun ends there. Friendly local staff are.....maybe too friendly? Our service was SO slow because the staff are hamming it up with the locals. Maybe that's how its supposed to be? Regardless, we're not from the area (visiting family) and were not impressed. The food is just meh.....bla. We had boneless buffalo wings that were a far cry from wings. Think: round balls of something resembling formed meat wrapped in a buffalo-flavored outift. My uncle had a BLT that was bread, lettuce and we think there was bacon in there but it remains to be seen. Auntie had a taco salad that reminded me of.....well....nevermind. Wintergreens gets two stars because they seem to TRY. My best advice is to skip it. If you're really hungry, keep driving. Cambridge has a lot more to offer. read more

Went there on a Monday, ordered the A1 burger and a rueben. Unfortunately the rueben was not edible, the bread was rock hard and the meat cold. They did make me another very quickly, but the quality of the food wasn't very good. The A1 burger tasted like it was cooked on a very dirty grill. If the grill was clean, it woulda been good. The atmosphere is nice, the waitress was nice, but the food was bad enough to never return. read more

Let me start by saying we have eaten here many times and have always had a very good experience. Until today... it started with her by not bringing my g/f her beer chasers for her bloody Mary's. When our server (Angela) was asked for the chasers, she brought only one for two bloody Mary's. We were there for happy hour so we both had two drinks. One of them was missing a pickle as well. We wondered why our salads were taking so long. Well, here came our meals and still no salads. So we waited for our salads while our food was getting cold. I went to cut my sandwich if half and a jalapeno pepper fell out. Brisket sandwiches don't come with fing jalapenos! Fail again, wrong food. Finally got my food and check. She did adjust the bill by taking off my long islands, but it was still a 44 dollar disaster. The final fail was we had asked for separate bills, one being for the drinks/appetizers and the other for meals. Of course, that didn't happen either. I went here for the first time on Saturday the 6th. The feel.of the place was very outdated and stale. You couldn't enjoy your meal in the dinning area because you had to listen to the loud woman at the bar area yelling bingo numbers, total mood killer. I ordered an Arnold Palmer, and it was more tea than lemonade, so they couldn't get that right. They ran out of table bread, and we didn't get it until our meal came. I ordered the chicken parmesan, and it was horrible. I took 2 bites and had enough. When I informed the waitress that I was unhappy with my order, they told me there were NO GUARANTEES OR REFUNDS! I could not believe this. I have NEVER had this issue anywhere else where I felt the product was unsatisfactory. They offered me another item at no charge, but I was turned off from their product and overall service to want anytime else. A little tip for you folks, when a customer is unhappy with your product, you do whatever you have to to make it right!! The golden rule in customer service. I will NOT be visiting this poor excuse for a restaurant again, and I WILL be telling all my friends and family to avoid your establishment at all costs.
