We were well- greeted (and served) by Deb who was happy to walk us through the good-sized menu and favorites. Our drinks arrived quickly as did our food orders (food runner Dakota was polite and interested in assisting us...a nice change vs. the typical "hit and run" style found in so many other restaurants). I had the Reuben (with a side of broccoli, see photo) while others had the stroganoff, a salad, and Patty Melt. All arrived at the right temperature and appeared fresh. So, this was a good find. Last night I placed an order to go and ordered wings and my mom ordered a club sandwich and asked for season sour cream with her waffle fries. We picked up the items right when they were ready and when we got home a few mins later I discovered that there was barely any Thai peanut sauce on my wings and they were incredibly dry!! My mom didn't receive her sour cream for her waffle fries so I decided to call and let them know. The person that answered the phone didn't apologize and said she can't refund the credit card that it was purchased. Her next solution was for us to drive back to get a side of sauce.....and then our food would be cold. She said she could give a gift card and I said I would pick it up the next day. When I went to the lodge today the gift card wasn't ready for pick up and Meghan only said to give a gift card for $7 and the wings were $13. I asked why the winds weren't fully refunded and the bartender said he couldn't do anything and wasn't helpful. He just said talk to Meghan which originally she never did her job and hold the gift card. The service has really gone down in the years and you can tell cause how few customers are there anymore. The seats are dirty and need to be replaced.

The sandwich comes with BQQ sauce, but who needs it when you have the juiciness of the pork, smokiness of the brisket, creaminess of the Mac & cheese, and the tang of coleslaw! It's almost hard not to finish this sandwich. (9/10) Another favorite are their fries. Fresh, crispy, and well seasoned. You can also get them as garlic parm fries where they drizzle their wing sauce across the top - YUM. (8/10) Lastly, the service here has always been impeccable. There were two bbq sauces on the table and one was pretty mild and sweet but was very tomato forward and reminded me of more like a flavored ketchup. The spicy one was better but not something I'd choose. Meats were better without the sauce in my opinion. Service was fine- nothing great but nothing to complain about. If we are in the area and in the mood for bbq again, we'd probably give it another try.
