Fast and easy smog station in the industrial side of winton. The mechanic who worked on my car was welcoming and nice. He was quick with the diagnostics testing, and smog. Even advised me in what things I need replaced and or worked on before my next smog check. I like this place. The owner told they were busy when I called but told me exactly when to come. I arrived, he pointed out the address on my smog papers needed to be updated or the stickers would go to the wrong address. Followed all the good review to give my car having a Smog Check before I sell it. I don't get it, why everyone here makes a good review on the boss, but I will say he is a bad guy... I used to be a car dealer quit from 2 years ago, even through I am no longer stay in the car business at this time, but I am still familiar with the cost for the car. This guy charged me $90 on a regular smog check, can you guys believe that??? The price is really bullshit, and his attitude on me is disrespecting me as "hey, rookie come here to FCK you up" I left this shop and make an easy turn on hesperian blvd head to "JUST SMOG", the only charge me $40 for the smog check and its price is reasonable. I came in bc my light to check my emission system came on. I have a 2013 Honda civic exl. When I got there I was greeted by a friendly face and was helped right away. The technician, which I found out later to be the owner, made sure to be thorough as possible. He topped off my fluids and checked my tires. He ran a diagnostic test and we found the problem right away. He managed to fix my issue and even told me to make sure I come back for additional help If I ran into a new problem . im new to the area and was looking for a place to get my car smogged. 8 found this place by driving around. so i came in today to see if I can get my 99 honda civic smogged checked. and whoever was there was gonna charge me $130 and it will take 1hr to do the test. good thing he said it was gonna take an hour otherwise I would have gotten it done. he actually reduced it to $110 because he was being "nice" and that's how much it would cost the shop to operate for an hour. I left because I could wait 1hr. I searched for another place and found one who did it for $60 and only took 15minutes. funny because the owner of the cheaper place knew about this guy charging so high without me him telling who or where this guy is at. read more

I came here on Monday 02/12 because I recently just purchased a car second hand. After getting insurance on the car, I needed to get a smog check to register it. I came here, because it is very close to AAA in Hayward. I walked in the door and told Kamal that I needed this smog check done ASAP. He asked me what year my car is and I said 2014. He double checked the production date to make sure I really needed a smog check. He advised me to go to the DMV in AAA first to see if I absolutely needed it done before spending that money (honest guy). I went back to AAA, they told me I did not need a smog if I could find the old smog paperwork from the previous owner. Kamal was right! Unfortunately for me though, I could not find it so I went back to Kamal. He got it done for me and I could not be happier with his service. While the car was being smogged, he checked the ins and outs of my car and told me when I needed to replace my tires, etc. Very good guy, if i have any problems with my car I will definitely go to him because he is very honest and knowledgeable.
