I had contacted the Apple Store for a new screen and was informed that the watch would need to be sent away for diagnosis and evaluation. I would be without the watch for up to a month or so. In addition I figured that it would be a costly repair.... and inquired about using it as a trade-in if they determined that the watch was fine except for the broken screen. No... they would not consider that. I decided to try Rapid iPhone Repair. They quoted me 2 prices. One if the phone only needed the screen repair and another if there were additional issues. When I picked the watch up, they charged me for the screen replacement and said that the watch was fine. They did the job in one day. They did not try to upcharge. They were very professional and displayed integrity, I recommend this repair shop without any reservations. I brought my apple watch in for a battery replacement. I spoke with Dakota on the phone before bringing it in and he advised after some prodding that it could be done same day in 3-5 hours. I came to the store about 10 minutes later and spoke with Dakota again. He acted like having a customer there was a bother even though I was the only one there. I should add that I stopped by the day before around 10AM when they opened and no one was there. I called and waited for 15 minutes and left. The next day I called first and no one answered until nearly 10:30. At the time of drop of Dakota then informed me that the watch would no longer be water proof. I'm okay with that, but why could he not have told me that over the phone a few minutes earlier. I dropped off the watch and about 90 minutes later Dakota calls and says that there is a problem. Apparently the attachment from the battery to the watch came out with the battery and broke. He said this happens frequently. He also says that the person who can fix it will not be in for another 4 days. If this is something that happens frequently then he surely should have advised me of this. I would likely have chosen to not proceed with the battery replacement. But now I have no choice because the watch is now non functional until it is repaired. On the day the watch was supposed to be fixed, I find out that they weren't even having the part delivered until that day and it will be later in the day. This is now Christmas Eve. I am unable to pick it up later so have to wait until 12/26. So long story short I felt like I completely got the run around and will be without the watch for nearly a week. Brought my ipad in for repair. They gave me two quotes: one to fix the glass and one more if the button was broken. The second quote was borderline too high to fix the ipad. Service was quick and they texted me when it was done and texted the receipt. The tech asked me for my pin so that he could run a diagnostics when he was finished. That's pretty sketch to ask for a device pin. Apple will have you unlock it for them so that they can run diagnostics while you are there. Worst experience of my life! My wife took her phone in and had the camera glass replaced. About a week later she noticed that the camera does no longer focus and often has other issues that did not have previous to taking it in. We took the phone back and asked if they could take a look at it or if there's anything they can do to fix it or if they offer any type of warranty. Every question I asked was answered with no sorry can't help you. At the end of this experience it felt like a scam. Like we'll fix your glass, but it might not fix the problem. I recently got my phone repaired here. At first I was happy until I barely dropped my phone. The back glass shattered. I came to get it repaired because they PROMISED us a repair if anything happened. The man talked and talked and said that WE misunderstood what he said. He treated us like the dirt under his shoe. He said that the glass he used was high quality but I know for a fact "high quality" means not breaking within a small drop. The phone screen is coming off of the base and the back glass literally fell off. I can see the motherboard. You know that saying too good to be true. I fully believe that applies to this. I got my cracked phone screen fixed around Christmas. yes I agree that it took them a short amount of time to fix it but my screen started glitching a few days after so I went back to get it fixed again but then the new screen wasn't installed properly and popped off IN THE STORE and the person who originally fixed my screen told me to come back in a few days when they have better screens that will be shipped in. Sent me off with a screen that wasn't properly installed. I came back AGAIN and it was a different person this time. He was super nice and understanding of the situation I experienced and reinstalled a screen for me and it's been working fine until today. I got an Apple refurbished screen from here and now a strip of the screen (right across the middle of my screen) will not respond to touch at all... honestly for the price I paid and the whole process of back and forth I'm so disappointed and angry because I now have to get my screen replaced again and will have to spend more money to fix my screen and I'm definitely going somewhere else because I literally do not trust them to fix my screen again. I dropped off two tablets, a watch, and my phone that needed screen protectors applied as well as leaving them with several screen protectors that I purchased on my own. I also needed to purchase 1 tablet screen protector from them as I hadn't purchased it myself before. Absolutely no complaints. All three employees that helped me throughout my visits were great. They did a great job explaining the process, and keeping me up-to-date. When I went to pick up everything, I remembered I had forgotten to ask them about a battery replacement on my original iPad Pro 12.9 inch. The quote was fair, and they even agreed to replace the freshly installed screen protector free of charge if it was damaged during the replacement. Again I couldn't be happier. Since it was close to closing time, they let me know it would be ready the following day, and it was! As mentioned by them, it took a few hours for the streaks in the screen protectors to disappear, and all the screen protectors look great now.
