Very conveniently located off of the 440 Belt-line in Raleigh off of Six Forks Road - North exit…read more(Exit 8B) just behind the North Hills Mall in the Target Parking lot that abuts the 440 Belt-line. Tip: It is best to enter from Lassiter Mill road vs Six Forks as the SC station sometimes is somewhat difficult to be able to back into the stalls due to backed up traffic when vehicles are being directed out of both the parking deck and general parking areas via Six Folks Road in front of Bank of America. But now that Tesla has recently doubled the amount of stalls now to 24, twelve (12) of which are 250kW and the original twelve (12) 150kW has dramatically reduced the wait times associated with only having twelve (12) @150kW and also has reduced the SCing times for the newer models with the 250kW stalls. See attached photo of busiest usage hours which are now between 0900 and 2000 (8PM) I had also noticed that there are also two (2) non-Tesla Eaton stalls that I believe have the standard J1772 connectors and are not within either the ChargePoint or ElectrifyAmerica network. (See attached photo) There's plenty places to grab a quick bite to eat at the upper/street level of North Hills while SCing such as Bartaco Tacos, Five Guys, Chick-fil-a that also have restroom. Another tip for this particular SC Center is that this SC Center of Raleigh is the only SC Center that is within Wake County and it often very, very busy so don't plan on plugging in your Tesla and head on over to catch a full length movie at the theater as this is the "only SC" that I've been charged an idle fee, albeit a $1/min .... Heed Teslas Mobile APP notifications very closely as you will be charged idle fees if you don't head back to your car when the APP warns you that it reaching if full charge time.

Although this is a fairly new hotel (about a year old), I was not pleased with my stay here at all…read more I'm usually an Embassy Suites girl, and this trip reminded me why. As a Hilton Honors Silver member, they do not offer complimentary bottled water. They use a "green initiative" reason about reducing plastic, but still sell bottled water for $4 each. They do have "refreshing stations" with still, alkaline, and sparkling water, which is nice--but you must bring your own bottle. To me, if guests are spending their money with Hilton, a simple bottle of water shouldn't be too much to offer. Another major inconvenience: valet-only parking at $30 per day. Since it's downtown, you really have no choice but to use their valet unless you want to hunt for outside parking. The valet team was cool and friendly, but it's still an extra cost--plus you have to tip every time they retrieve your car or tip at the end of your stay. That adds up quickly. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the rooms are very small. Tiny dorm-style fridge No microwave No iron or ironing board, only a steamer Just not the level of comfort, space, or amenities I'm used to in the Hilton brand One thing I did like is that Tempo is connected to Homewood Suites, and you can choose where to eat breakfast. Homewood Suites offers a complimentary buffet-style breakfast, while the Tempo side has a café and bar where you have to purchase your breakfast. The café staff, bar staff, and most of the front desk team were very nice--no complaints there. But overall, between paying for breakfast, paying for parking, paying for water, and tipping valet every time, this stay was more expensive and less comfortable than it needed to be. This was my first and last stay at Tempo. It's simply not my cup of tea. I'll be sticking with Embassy Suites, where I get more space, better amenities, and the level of comfort I'm used to.

The elevators are interesting in that you choose your floor number from a key pad and it tells you which elevator to take. Inside the elevator there are no floor numbers. Worked well. Our room was a nice size, the bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure but the pillow were super soft. The room was quiet. The location to downtown Raleigh was great. We could walk everywhere in town. Would definitely stay if in the area again.

I got the martini flight which had a sample taste of bourbon cocktail, a margarita, and a mule. I started with the steak tots which was filet mignon on a potato hash with garlic aoili. MMmmm Mmm Mmm! Then came the wedge...Aaauuhhh-maa- ziinggg! It was a nice potion with a strip of bacon, cherry tomatoes and home made dressing. My main was chicken Oscar and it didn't let me down. It was 2 chicken filets topped with lump crab and a cream sauce. This entree was placed Ontop of asparagus spears. Perfect pairing. After all that, I was full, so I got the lemon bar to go. It looked so good so when I got home you know I to try it!! The merengue and lemon zesty flavor made it hard not to have just one bite. The gentlemen next to me were very nice and Christie the bartender gave impeccable conversation and service!! One of my new faves for sure!!

Went for their Friday lunch because the prices are more reasonable than on their dinner menu. The bread and whipped butter that came out before ordering was tasty. Ordered the the Pork Chop Friday lunch special for $22. The pork chop is a smaller portion of their enormous regular portion thankfully, because although it was delicious, anything bigger would have been too much. It has a sauce and a slice of lime on top. It comes with whipped potatoes and apple sauce. Probably the best pork chop I've ever had. I also ordered an individual side of Sweet Sriracha Brussel Sprouts. While the sprouts were tasty, they were more sweet than spicy, at least heat wise, which was a little bit disappointing. It's definitely worth a visit especially for lunch on Friday which is the only day they serve lunch.

We ate here in May and loved it! Great food and over-the-top good service…read more Flash forward to June 9 when we invited our grown kids and three year old grandchild to join us. Let's start with the sticky, unwashed table...yuck. Someone did come and wipe it down, but they left it soaking wet. Then...... 1. They didn't give us enough set-ups, even after we asked twice. We finally went to the station to get it ourselves. 2. The waitstaff ignored us most of the time and, after waiting for their help, we observed SIX of them just hanging out at the station, chatting and looking at their phones. 3. My husband spilled an entire beer and we asked the guy who came to help wipe it up if we could get another. His response was a very snippy, "...that's not my responsibilty". No help at all. 4. While we were still deciding on drinks, someone came by and took away the drink menu. we asked for two more, they brought only one, then someone came by and took it again! Since we now couldn't get a waiters attention, I finally went to the station myself to get one. 5. The food : Brussels sprouts in sauce were placed in front of us with no serving utensil, we asked for extra roumelade for the Pickles & Peppers but it took so long to arrive that there was nothing left to dip in it, wrong plates were placed in front of us, hamburgers were WAY over cooked and super dry, sweet potato fries were very soggy, sushi was bland. The espresso caramel chocolate malt that we loved so much before had zero malt flavor and was pretty much melted by the time we got it. We asked for six spoons for the malt and they brought five. We couldn't get anyone's attention to get a sixth, so two of us shared (we were tired of going to the station to fetch things for ourselves). This was overall a really bad experience at a place we had previously thought was outstanding. Sad!

We were glad we did because football was on and we were hoping to watch the game! Our waitress was very engaging and made sure to check on us often. The tuna and avocado-tini was amazing, loved the ginger dressing instead of a spicy mayo or soy sauce which is what I feel like this type of dish normally comes in. I also ordered a salmon roll with brown rice, which tasted good. Also snuck a few sips of the vanilla milkshake that my husband ordered, hit the spot!
