We had an outlet for an Air Conditioner that turned out to be supplied with 240V with a 20amp 110V…read moreoutlet. This is in a muli-family building that was built in the 1960's. A 110v A/C unit was installed into the wall. Of course it didn't work correctly. Omega Electric was called. They came out the same day and pulled the needed wiring to correct the issue. They were in and out in an hour, which I found impressive. They doubled checked their work and cleaned up after themselves. My family is full of journeyman electricians. I was impressed.

Wish we'd seen the prior review before hiring them because they totally botched our major remodel…read moretoo. They charged us an outrageous hourly rate because they send out a journeyman and apprentice, but rather than saving time with two people, they charged us for 11 additional wasted hours when their journeyman (who later admitted that he hadn't brought the right tool with him) could not determine the location of an electrical wire that they were trying to tie into. We also had to replace a bathroom exhaust fan which we had already paid them to replace - not only did they install a fan that is meant for wall cavities (not for ceilings), but they didn't hook it up to the roof vent and then lied when I asked to confirm that they had hooked it up to the roof vent. All that moist air was going right into our attic until we went up there ourselves to figure out why the bath vent didn't seem to be doing a good job - well, it got all clogged up with attic insulation because it wasn't hooked up to the roof vent. We've had to hire a different electrical company to address all the incorrectly wired areas that are causing our GFCIs to trip. Awful experience and huge waste of money! How are they even licensed? Stay away!
