My wife: She had dental work done here, and later we had to go to another dentist who ended up replacing all the crowns that were done by this dentist. The second dentist explained that the previous work was not done correctly. My son: This dentist told us our son needed a filling for a cavity. We decided to get a second opinion. The second dentist said there was no cavity, and a third dentist confirmed that the tooth was perfectly healthy and did not need any filling. My case: I was told I had a cavity on a back tooth and was asked to sign a consent saying that if the decay reached the nerve, the tooth would be extracted. This was very concerning. I got a second opinion, and the dentist said it was just a normal cavity, slightly more difficult because of the location, but no nerve involvement and no risk of extraction. They did the filling right away, and I still have the tooth with no problems. Based on our family's experience, I strongly recommend getting at least one (or even two) second opinions before agreeing to fillings, crowns, or extractions here. This review is based on our real experience and is shared to help others make informed decisions.

It had been a long time since my last cleaning and checkup, but from start to finish, the experience was great. I was warmly welcomed by Galilea and the ladies at the front desk, both when I arrived and as I was leaving. Big thanks to Tiffany and Smita for handling my overdue cleaning--they were incredibly professional and made the whole process bearable. Dental cleanings are never exactly fun, especially with my teeth sensitivity, but I never once felt uncomfortable in the chair. After the cleaning, I met with Dr. Dabah, who was attentive, easy to talk to, and took the time to go over my X-rays and address my concerns. Dr. Sirin purchased the practice that used to operate out of his current location. When you call…read morethe old number, the receptionist answers the phone "Dr. Sirin & Dr. Burren's office". However, Dr. Burren (from whom he purchased the practice) no longer has anything to do with the practice. After going to Dr. Burren for 10+ years, I was used to an efficiently run dentist's office and a dentist with kind bedside manner and a willingness to take the time to converse with you and get into details in regards to any questions you had about your teeth. My experience here was different. I arrived just in time for my appointment, but waited for about 10 minutes in the waiting room. When Dr. Burren ran the place, you never waited more than 2 minutes, tops. When the time came, my hygienist did a great job, but because she had not been properly trained on the new software which Dr. Sirin used, my appointment took longer than necessary and made for what I would describe as an "un-smooth" experience. When she was done, I waited another 10 minutes for Dr. Sirin to come in. When he did, he gave me a brief greeting, looked at my x-rays, and said, "What's the plan for these wisdom teeth?" Somewhat confused as to why a professional was asking me how I plan to proceed in regards to the very professional services for which he was paid, I said, "I don't know...you tell me?" With little to no explanation he told me that they should come out and that the receptionist would give me a referral and that was about it. When I went to pay the bill, the cost was significantly more for similar services than it was under Dr. Burren. I don't like writing bad reviews, but my hope is that other former patients of Dr. Burren will see this review and as a result save a bit of their precious time and money...two things for which, in regards to his patients, Dr. Burren had more respect.

Even in my 30s, I still carried that fear and embarrassment until today. Dr. Martin is truly a godsend. She and her staff Ashley and Kam were absolute angels. From the moment I walked in, the front desk team was welcoming, kind, and reassuring. In the chair, Dr. Martin showed such compassion and patience that I've never experienced at any dentist before. Her bedside manner is incredible. You can feel her genuine passion for her work and her care for her patients. I was especially nervous about the needle, since it has always been a huge fear for me. But I honestly didn't feel a thing. I was blown away. For the first time in my life, I left a dental appointment not in tears of fear, but tears of relief and gratitude.
