This was mine and my wife's first time at this restaurant. The staff were all very friendly, and we were sat even before our reservation time. The ambiance was a nice docile one, with not many people in the restaurant that night. Luckily my brother and sister-in-law frequent this restaurant so they were able to gives us the details of what they thought was good, but I don't think you could go wrong with anything here. For the table we ordered a large antipasto salad with the Wise Guys dressing, the garlic knots, the mozzarella moons, and the fried meatballs. The salad was SO DELICIOUS. All of the vegetable tasted fresh with just the right amount of meat and cheese mixed in. The Wise Guys dressing was the star of the show though. This dressing has such a nice balance of flavor, but also that zip that salads need. The garlic knots were also so delicious too! The knots themselves were crispy yet fluffy... and they had a generous heaping of butter and garlic atop them. The mozzarella moons and meatballs were good but not special like the other two. I got the sausage riggies for my main course... and it was so good. First off, they give you an absolute heaping portion. I have had some good riggies in the past, but I think this may have been my favorite. The sauce was a great blend of creamy with spice from the hot cherry peppers. The sausage was also so flavorful yet not too rich. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for some good Italian food in the area.

In the lounge, a Birthday chocolate chip cookie! And huge sparkler!

This place is great! We went here for dinner with reservations and got right in. This place is huge! There were many different rooms with plenty of seating options. Our waitress was very friendly and offered her suggestions on favorites. We ordered three appetizers, one being the garlic knots. The garlic knots were my favorite appetizer although the amount of garlic was a little overwhelming, even for myself being a garlic lover. We also had an antipasto salad which was delicious, the dressing was so good we purchased a bottle before leaving. I ordered the chicken Parmesan for my meal. It was delicious, although the breading on it was not quite as crispy as I would have liked, the bottom was soggy. Overall, the food was flavorful, the staff was amazing, and the ambiance was the perfect setting for a dinner with family.

This is the presentation of the sausage tortellini. More sausage than pasta. Wow! Come hungry. Did not leave any on my plate

Food was a gastronomic extravaganza that exploded in our mouth Service by Beth- outstanding! Fast, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Recommended the right entrees for my wife and me. Very reasonable prices but white tablecloth service. I felt like I was dining at a grand ballroom overlooking the marina. People were lined up to get in. Make reservations because some people were disappointed that they could not just walk in.

Found this place as a recommendation on Facebook. Was excited to try it. I read they get very busy so definitely make a reservation. We went on a Saturday night around 6pm and made a reservation ahead of time. When we got there they were already busy packed. There was a good amount of parking spaces. There is two dining areas and a nice large wait area. The ambiance was nice. If you went during the day there is a nice view looking out to the water. For appetizers we got the Combo Chicken tenders, French fries, cheese sticks and onion rings, we really liked the cheese sticks and chicken tenders. The onion rings was okay. Everything was battered perfectly. For entrees I got the Chicken Parmesan Italian breaded chicken joined with cheese and savory tomato sauce with capellini. I thought it was very good, nice flavor and texture. My husband got Ravioli With cheeses and meatballs. He said it was a bit acidic the tomato sauce but over all everything was good. Our bill was around $70 with everything which is pretty reasonable. We would definitely come here again, good quality food.

Jaw drop. This place is NYC/SF league. Brio Chinotto. Spiced green olives, four flavors, in tubs…read more Italian groceries packed into the tiny place. Fresh figs. That's just the weirds stuff that I like... the FOCACCIA -- they're baking it right there! There's only two sandwiches. This is a GOOD THING... meat or veggie. Apart from amazing -- small detail: romaine, crispy, super fresh... the meats and veggie patty: great recipe. This all before mentioning their namesake dish... pasta... six feet away from the baking, a lady pulling noodles out of a pasta machine, which I'll have to experience next time.

Since moving to Toronto, I miss Pasta Genova deeply…read more They have some of the very best focaccia anywhere, which alone is enough to recommend them. But they also have nearly peerless homemade pastas (of which the smoked paprika linguine is my favourite, though they often only make it by request), spectacular prepared sauces, and regular specials on essentials that will get you things like premium olive oil or balsamic vinegar* at supermarket prices. * Genova is one of the few places I've regularly found a variety of pure, aged balsamic vinegar free from sulphites. AWESOME. So, here's some tips: 1) They ONLY TAKE CASH, no exceptions. I once witnessed a woman curse them out for this fact and declare she'd tell all her friends not to shop there; when she left, everyone in the tiny shop, myself included, burst out laughing, and one of the guys declared "we can barely keep up with the customers we have, we don't need her!". Very jovial, and they took her bitch-fest so perfectly in-stride they could give lessons on how to turn the other cheek. 2) If you need a quick lunch, pick up a focaccia sandwich -- they're about $4 if memory serves, with salami, lettuce, tomato, and mustard, and they're fantastic! If you want to suddenly realize you're hungry, walk down Wellington around 11:00am for the wafting glory of baking focaccia and just try to resist the pull. 3) When ordering pasta instead of ordering by weight, order by serving size. Say things like "I'm having a dinner party for six, four big eaters and two regular", and they'll give you an incredibly accurate amount of what you need, plus a little extra (because people WILL want seconds, believe me!). 4) Their homemade calabrese olives are out of this world good. They use a puree of oil-marinated chilis, oregano, fennel (I think), and oil, and very, very good sun cured olives... and damn, these things are so good I eat them until I hurt. 5) Ask what's on special, or if they have any leftovers. I've scored half servings of pasta, day old (but still delicious) focaccia, and nearly expired but still awesome cheese for cheap. Finally, I'll also mention that the staff here are fabulous -- very nice people who greet with a smile, always bid a good day, and work diligently to help provide you with exactly what you need to hit a homerun with whatever it is you're cooking. Only downside: Toronto Maple Leaf fans. Egads!
