10/10! Snug Harbor Bar & Grill is one of my favorite places to eat. Bingo night is especially fun and makes for a great atmosphere. I've tried a variety of items on the menu, and I honestly haven't ordered anything I didn't love. Every meal has been delicious, and I'd happily order any of them again without hesitation. It's ok. Pizza, nachos, and a slice of cake for my wife and I. Pizza: cheese was excellent, sauce and dough were uninspired. I'm assuming the same from the can a lot of places use around the area. Dough was fresh but not homemade. Probably Richie's brand. price $9.99 (small 12") Nachos were basic and decent. Filled a medium plate. I think $9.99 plus up charge for adding beef. Cake was a standout. It was a shareable size and very tasty. Chocolate cake with butter cream frosting, a dollop of whip cheese and chocolate drizzle. Didn't note price. The restaurant is not huge but can comfortably accommodate a nice crowd. It was quiet when we arrived and busy by the time we left. Service was not overly attentive throughout but no complaints. Overall, this place is by locals and dominated by locals. Based on the baby being passed throughout the dining room and bar everyone knew each other. I'm sure the summer time is different. Not a gripe, just an observation. read more

This place is popular for its wings. Came here for dinner with family on Saturday evening. Indoor and outdoor covered back deck seating with water view. Walked in front door that has sign "seat yourself." We sat down at a table and a waitress approached us stating there is a wait list. I mentioned to her that no one at the front desk said anything about a wait, so we followed the sign that said "seat yourself."Anyways we were put on a wait list. We were called 30 minutes later (this was the 4th of July weekend which we expected to be busy) Menu was handed out a few minutes later. We checked out the specials board and decided on large 1 topping pizza with 20 wings for $45. Also Bloody Mary drinks were $4.... YES please!! Our drinks came out quickly and the Bloody Mary was spot on. Wings were next then pizza. Both were delicious and flavorful. My hubby had to get up to get everyone silverware. It was karaoke night so the place was loud (and busy) hard to have a conversation at the table. I'll probably will return on a weekday to try something else. read more

Their pizza is the best in the area. Quick service and delicious food makes Snug Harbor a place to go for dinner. There buffalo chicken wrap is awesome and their calzones are HUGE and worth the reasonable price. If you are in the Cape Vincent area you must visit Snug Harbor for a take out pizza or for a eat in delicious dinner. My Daughter and her husband were visiting from Florida and we decided to have lunch in Clayton. My daughter searched restaurants in Clayton. Her search turned up Snug Harbor Restaurant & Bar with a yelp rating higher then all the restraints listed so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is definitely hidden as is Snug Harbor. The restaurant has an attractive covered seating area. The interior is not what I expected after viewing the buildings exterior for the first time. The interior I'd describe as rustic. The tables are large and table top is made of pennies hundreds of them. It's quite unique. Our waitress whose name I forget was super. She answered every stupid question we asked and there were many. She was very helpful, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. We arrived at 12PM, and were seated and had our drink order on the table very quickly. They serve both national brands, craft beers, and a large list of alcoholic drinks. We had burgers and fish. The fish was reasonably priced and properly breaded and fried. They don't serve hamburgers, rather steak burgers. there are 2 ways to order - some pink and done. I had mine pink and it was perfectly done as were the other 2 burgers. These burgers were excellent. All in all if you've never been to this restaurant you should schedule a trip you will not be disappointed. read more

Had been hearing good things about their pizza and wings and wanted to check them out, and it did not disappoint! Great friendly staff from the hostess who greeted us, to our sweet waitress who gave us wing sauce samples since it was our first time there. She also checked in on us and made sure we had all that we needed this evening. Now for the main event-the pizza and wings! On Friday's and Saturday's you can get a large pizza and 20 wings for $30. This is quite a deal as the pizza is large and the wings are nice and meaty. We had a white pizza which was delicious and had spicy Italian wings and BBQ wings. All flavors were tasty. The waitress recommended the dessert pizza so we got a small one to go and it was yummy!!! Glad we decided to get one. Snug Harbor is a lot about the atmosphere for me, and the cooks make the best pizza, Stromboli, and calzones in this area. The antipasto has everything in it ( lettuce, cheese, pepperoni, ham, banana peppers, onion) I and I recommend the creamy Italian dressing. You can dine in or dine out, or even take out. A horrible experience. We drove all the way from Watertown to explore the area and try a new place having just moved here from Savannah, GA. We had our dog and checked before that they allowed dogs. We got there and my husband went in to ask for a table and was not serviced for 8 minutes. The host was talking on the phone and made him wait. Multiple waitresses walked by and checked their personal phones but never talked to him as he waited. Then after she got off, she refused to seat us and said dogs aren't allowed on the outdoor patio. They were so rude when we were trying to explain we had checked beforehand that dogs were allowed and nothing. We were forced to leave. We will never go back again due to such horrible service on top of the back and forth dog policy. read more

Have been coming to eat at Snug for several years. Brought weekend guests here last year. In 2018... have been here at least 2x/month. It's quite consistent foodwise. Have encountered many friends that come here - especially in the past 2 years. I grew up in the area, then left for 40 years and now have a seasonal place here. Glad that this area has several restaurants that have good food,consistent service and prices that cater to and sustain the year round clientelle. Snug is casual, has specials, and offers standard bar food. Both my hubby and son love the wings (I don't eat them) while I enjoy other menu items. Hands down the best wings in the area, possibly even in all of upstate NY. You can't beat the prices, friendly staff, and overall good times to be had at snug. In the summer there's a covered back deck to enjoy a good pitcher and pizza with friends or family. In the winter you can play some bowling on their vintage machine or just sit at the bar and enjoy the great company. We always get pizza and wings but I've heard everything else is great too! Great fish fries, scallops dinners, pizza and wings. My son loved the wings and me and the wife loved the fish fries and scallops. Good service outstanding value. A very nice out of the way place a must try 6/16/15 Was in the mood for some we order a couple of pizzas from Snug Harbor. Service was fast, Pizza was okay for the area no complaints, sauce had a decent taste and they even deliver them to us for a nominal to dollar charge. By far the BEST cheese pizza I've had since NYC! We are able to get their wings grilled so they don't have that real messy sauce all over yet have the delicious sauce taste. Great location to shove off for a gorgeous couple of miles of kayaking. Honor system box to use the ramp -$5 donation requested. My 3 year old loved looking at the wild life while we paddled. We ordered pizza and wings to be delivered. The pizza was burnt. Crust was rock hard and black. Some of the pepperoni was burnt too. The wings were over cooked and dry. Awful food. We won't be returning. read more
