I was born & raised in NYC - translation: I grew up riding trains & buses that ran 24/7 to every part of the city & to quote Jay "home of the yellow cab, gypsy cab, dollah cab" so there was never a need to learn how to drive. He never exhibited signs of annoyance or disapproval at my total lack of driving knowledge or occasional, well, maybe more than occasional, F bombs (Brooklyn, son). Alex spoke in a quiet and kind way, which was soothing and helped me to relax and not feel too awkward about being an adult learning how to drive. The best money I've ever spent! I can't recommend Alex at Wise Lion Driving School highly enough. My daughter has had her learner's permit for many years. I've tried to teach her how to drive but it was making both of us a nervous wreck on Atlanta roads. Someone recommended Alex to me and I was thrilled to find out he uses dual controls on the car. I signed her up for several lessons and also booked him for her driving test. I thought it would be best if she took the test in the same car she learned to drive with. This worked out particularly well for the reverse and parallel parking sections of the road test. Plus he gave her confidence by taking her to the DMV in his car. Alex is quiet and patient which is great for new student drivers. I trusted him to teach her how to drive and he did! He's always prompt and dependable. If he says he'll be at your house to pick up your child, he'll be there right on time. Alex was able to do something which I wasn't sure could be done and that was give my daughter confidence to drive. We had almost given up on her being able to do that. I am a pretty okay driver, not the best but not bad either. I don't have my license yet, and I wanted a little more confidence for my test so I signed up for driver Ed's classes that my best friend recommended me too. She had no prior driving experience, and she was able to obtain her license by taking classes from here. I just finished my two hour session, and Alex literally goes over everything you need and he makes sure you're comfortable and that you got it. He goes over areas of what you think you need the most help on, and help better prepare you for the road test. I take my test in 4 days and I know that I will get my license thanks to him. He has the best parking skill method I have ever seen. Also he isn't too pricey like other driving schools and has a special two hours for $99. Most schools charge $120 and up for just two hours. Also Alex has great personality, and good to converse with. I recommend this place to everyone. read more

As I was doing the research to find the best driving school for my daughter, I noticed that Alex had a ton of great reviews, on various platforms. I don't always trust reviews, so I dug a little deeper to be sure that those were real people giving him so much praise! To my delight, I found that they were real. And I later discovered that they were right on point! The accolades were absolutely true! Alex is very efficient in his business practices. He is a great communicator, he is patient, he is skilled and knowledgeable, he is honest and reliable, and I could go on! But I will end with this: My daughter is comfortable with him, she is learning from him, and she genuinely likes him. I've spent about 4 years trying to get a driver's license on my own. With Alex I got my license within 6 lessons! He is extremely patient, peaceful, professional, and kind. He is also very knowledgeable of car mechanics, the rules of the road, and what is expected of students during road tests. He showed me all the possible routes an examiner could take me on to drive. He also set up our practice cones the same exact way they were arranged on the road test. The lessons were affordable and were structured around my needs. I was terrible at parallel parking until Alex showed me a simple 3-step process that I was able to complete with ease on my first try during the road test. WISE LION DRIVING SCHOOL IS #1! My daughter needed driving lessons and I was too afraid to teach her myself, we both made each other nervous. My decision to go with a professional driving school was the best decision for both of us. Alex is an excellent driving instructor! I am a new driver who feels very uncertain and anxious about driving. After taking a course with Alex, I was able to get that confidence back and feel more at ease behind the wheel. He is very patient and understanding with the student. He also tailors the lessons to focus on what your weaknesses are, and his calm demeanor makes you feel relax and in control. This review is a month late. However, doesn't change the fact that Alex is the absolute best driving instructor I could ask for. Have never driven before in my entire life since I've always lived in big cities with far-reaching train systems, so never needed to. But the transport network here doesn't extend to regional trains so have to learn how to drive. Did my research and loved the reviews I saw on this profile so signed up for lessons. Alex's calm demeanor and well modulated voice make learning how to drive less nerve-wracking. Prior to working with Alex, I had severe anxiety when it came to driving. However, Alex was a very patient and consistent with his instruction. He was always observant and noted which areas I needed improvement in and where I was stronger. In just a few lessons, I became a far more confident and competent driver. He even refunded several of my lessons ahead of time after expressing the belief that I had improved to the point where they would not be necessary. I was considering going with a bigger company but was turned off by the lack of availability and long wait times in between lessons. I am so glad I found Wise Lion!!! I was able to start quickly and get my license even sooner than I expected. Alex was a very professional instructor. He was detailed, patient, and very encouraging! He explained all the parts of the car that I would need to know, down to the tiniest detail. He explained the different kinds of freeways and even drew out a map. I'm a visual learner, so that was really helpful. So glad that I found this driving school. Alex was very kind, on time for lessons, had great communication skills, and excellent service. Amazing ! My experience has been great with Alex as my instructor . He was very patient with me and allowed me to make mistakes and catch them on my own as well as how to fix them without a panic . That really allowed me to build my confidence and comfortability behind the wheel. Taking the road test was exactly how we practiced which made it easier to get through. Can't recommend Alex enough. He was extremely professional and I had 100% confidence sending my son with Alex each and every driving lesson. My son had very little experience behind the wheel prior to working with Alex. After 5 lessons with Alex my son easily passed his driving test and is an excellent driver thanks to Alex.
