I FOUND HER! All my life I've been searching to talk to my inner-self, my guide, my third eye what ever you want to call it. In just 1 session I was immediately brought the front door, unlocking the connection to my wiser self. SHORT STORY: Call and make the appointment. You won't regret it. Donna is great at what she does. She knows how to guide you on the path you wish to travel sort of speak. Her session pack a punch and is worth every penny and every minute. Be warned the deep relaxing sessions are addictive. You want to go back for more. You will feel a sense of happiness, refreshment and accomplishment when you "wake up" from your session. MORE DETATILS: I WAS skeptical about hypnosis. All I knew about it was from TV and movies. It's hokey and who wants to cluck like a chicken. Hey at one point of my life I viewed going to therapy was for the "weak". Now because of TV shows like the Sopranos, therapy is no longer a mystery and completely socially acceptable. Research. The key is to demystify hypnosis. I looked up a tons of videos and articles. I came across Donna's thorough and detailed videos. The way she talked about hypnosis was less scary, less magical and more scientific and practical. The videos help you get familiar not only with the process but with Donna who will guide you and make you feel more comfortable to make that call and make an appointment. Office. The office on the 1st floor and is conveniently located where there is lots of parking. The space is a typical office you'd expect, clean and tidy. You have a "pregame chat" or discovery chatI call it, then do the actual hypnosis in a nice cozy room. The process: -First you start with a pregame chat where Donna guides you with questions to explore what kind of things you would like to work on and what messages you want to suggest or impress upon your subconscious. -Then you head into the hypnosis room, where you sit in big comfy recliner with a big fuzzy blanket and lights dimmed down. -Next Donna plays some relaxing meditation music as she guides you into deep relaxation. She will get you into this deep and deeper relaxation state. Even if you have trouble focusing Donna's calm and soothing voice will allow you to just slow down. I promise. -When you reach this deep state of relaxation she will start saying suggestions about what you talked about earlier and slowly guided you back up to reality. - You "wake up" feeling amazing. The actual hypnosis will feel like hours when in reality it was only 10-15 minutes. Cost: I signed up for the 5 sessions. Price wise it is comparable to the cost of a phycologist. Well worth it! Hypnosis vs Therapy: I think therapy is wonderful and everyone can use someone to talk to. The con with therapy is that its a long process and you talk about stuff and discovery belief systems that don't serve you and talk about it some more on an Ego level. Hypnosis cuts to the chase! Identify the thought that does does not serve you and replace it with a thought that does serve you and programs you towards your goal. I have discovered more with Donna in our short period of time than I did in years of therapy. Again therapy is not bad. Its like going to a trainer and talking about a fitness plan versus actually doing it and seeing results. I wish you good luck on your hypnosis. You will love it. read more

I had high hopes for working with Donna. I put my trust in her and now find myself dealing with increased stress and trauma instead. Many steps backward and I'm struggling horribly with increased anxiety. I sought her help for current issues. A recent end to a long relationship, and more importantly a medical issue that could have resulted in my death. (A massive heart attack) I was forced to retire prematurely due to this, and I'm struggling on all levels with the changes in my life as well as the fear around my health status. All of this was clear when we began. I knew what I needed to 'step away from' so to speak, and I felt hypnosis would help me. It didn't, though she assured me that she had experience with this sort of situation. Instead, she persisted in revisiting childhood trauma that had long been put to rest through years of therapy. This happened repeatedly, (Four separate sessions) and despite being clear around my needs she persisted, assuring me that this was what was necessary. Afterward I would become depressed and shaky. I continued to trust her to help me. Big mistake. My health issues were at no time dealt with in any way though this was the reason that I sought her help. During my last visit I panicked and started to come out of trance, and she yelled at me. NOT what I needed. I then found myself in the parking lot outside of her office, hyperventilating after this hellish session was over. Fear of another heart attack was real and remains so. I tried to discuss this with her in e mail after the fact and she maintains that she was helping me. No help, just hurt. How was abuse from my childhood being tossed at me at this point in my life helping me? I needed to gain my confidence back and move forward with my life following recent trauma. I should have bailed after the first session. Lesson learned. Big and scary lesson as well as very expensive lesson. Now needing serious therapy...that never should have happened. Beware. read more

Wise mind hypnosis is a fantastic hypnotherapy practice. The location is easy to get to in Bethpage. The office is super clean and maintained well. You feel great when you walk in because Donna greets you with a smile every time. Donna really listens to every word you say and I felt like she understood me after just 1 session together.
