This is truly as good as it gets. I called and spoke to George, who then added my insurance company on to the call. A few minutes later, after an exchange of information, George said he would order the windshield and get back to me to set a schedule for the installation. Now I drive a 1996 Corvette convertible that I "baby" more than my children. I am very meticulous about taking care of it (her) and assure myself of the service she will receive. I was still getting over the fact that she had been damaged by a stray rock. George and I spoke about the required rubber seals, and I told him I wanted any "extra" required work to be covered. He assured me it would. Two days later he called me to tell me he had the glass and required moldings in hand, and offered to install it on a Saturday at my house. He showed up on time, with a helper and they got to work. I could tell from his toolbox and his demeanor that he is a professional and that he truly cares about "doing it right". He takes pride in his work, took his time in following each step, and the results are nothing short of wonderful. He had all the rubber moldings and explained the steps as he went along. I imagine I was more of a pest than he is used to, but he seemed to understand, and joked about taking the car on a "required" test run to Rocky Point for the rest of the weekend. So I knew he appreciated the car and the maintenance thereof. (I did not, however, agree to the test drive) :) The fit and finish of the windshield is perfect, even though the car is a seventeen year old classic. The convertible top fits tighter than it ever has, and no "whistle" noise. They took their time, and got it right. I'm happy. We got a cracked windshield from a cross country trip and were dreading having to replace the windshield... especially since my mom had her windshield patched up in the midwest and complained about how expensive it was. After calling a few different autoglass places in Tucson, Wisecrack had the best price for replacing the windshield. Not only was it a reasonable price, but they came to my address on time and were quick and professional. The main guy really seems to know the business well, and both he and his assistant seemed to have good attention to detail. My keys lock on their own all the time, so when I dropped my keys in my car to put my dog in the back seat and shut the door, I locked both my keys and my sweet 5 month old puppy in the car on a hot Arizona day. Triple A didn't come fast enough and I had no choice but to break the window to save my dog. I tried Safe Lite but they couldn't even fit me in until 2 days from when I broke my window!! I don't have a garage and its monsoon season (I also live in a sketchy neighborhood) so that wasn't going to work for me. I called Wisecrack first thing the next morning and they came within a couple hours! George was great and very professional, while we were doing paperwork he even greeted and pet my puppy for a bit. He also vacuumed all the glass from the break for me. I had a crack in the lower portion of the windshield near the windshield wipers and it quickly spread to a 6.5" crack. I called up GEICO and looked for a local repair shop to do the replacement. I found Wisecrack online and was amazed at the reviews so much that I had to try them out. They are a GEICO preferred shop and when I called I quickly setup an appointment with George--the owner--and the next morning he came over to my house and in 45 minutes he had the whole replacement done. Back in Dec 2013, my front passenger glass on a 07 Toyota Corolla was smashed from a break-in at parking lot in front of LA Fitness in Tucson Spectrum. They were very quick to call me back with a quote, and as luck would have it they were also the best priced too! They (George and Bob) were able to get out to my remote location the very next day with the new windshield. They even showed up exactly on time, which is amazing in this day & age! Its an older car & and as it turned out, it gave them a little bit more trouble than a newer car would, but they handled it very skillfully and didnt complain or try to jack the price up. I have to say I was a little skeptical because of the sea of 5-star ratings for these guys. No way can any business be THAT good, I told myself. It turns out I was wrong. I called around to a few different glass shops in town because my windshield was seriously messed up, and I was becoming an easy target for the rozzers. I got an outrageously expensive quote from a national chain who shall remain nameless, and some more competitive quotes from local businesses. I found Wisecracks and decided to give them a call. The quoted around $100 less than the national chain, and about $20 less than the others locally. Sweet! Appointment set. The next day, the technician shows up (I forget his name, but he was new to the company and was extremely friendly and professional) and gets the job done in about 45 minutes. The price was exactly what was promised, and the quality of work is impeccable. As I've found it rather hard to find honest businesses in Tucson these days, I think these guys deserve major props for the way they operate. If I could give 6 stars, I would. They came out installed 2 windows quickly- the installer was VERY friendly and did a great job. I had a question about some non-covered molding that was damaged I had forgotten about them since they said they wouldn't be covered. They had actually got my insurance company to cover them and ordered them and came out at a later date and installed them. This is the best experience I have had with a glass company!!! read more

Really great service and friendly guys. They came to our house the next day and replaced the windshield in one car and repaired a crack in the other (Tucson is not a friendly place for windshields!). They even called me to let me know they were going to be late because they had to wait for the windshield to come from Phoenix. Very considerate. They worked with my insurance company to repair the crack at no charge. However, I paid out of pocket for the windshield replacement because it was less than my deductible. This is where Wisecracks really came through. They beat the price of Safelite by $70, which didn't even include on-site service. Safelite charges an additional $25 on top of that to come to you. They told me that they would rather make money off of many costumers rather than off of one customer. After they finished their work they cleaned all my windows. No question that you should go with these guys, not just because it supports local business, but because they offer quality service at a reasonable price. read more
