This place went from a 5-star to a 1-star for me -- and fast. I have NEVER left a barbershop feeling this ripped off and furious. My 9-year-old always gets the Bambino cut for $30 -- that's what I booked for his birthday. His favorite barber, Rich (who was great), apparently quit and we were rescheduled with someone new without a single heads-up. I almost walked out. I didn't, and I regret it. The haircut was just...fine. But when I went to pay I was absolutely stunned to see $60 on the bill -- DOUBLE what I always pay -- with ZERO explanation, ZERO warning, and ZERO transparency. That is flat-out dishonest. If there was an extra fee for a design, tell me up front. Don't blindside a parent in the middle of their child's birthday week. We left feeling used and furious. I will be telling my friends, other parents, and anyone who'll listen -- word-of-mouth spreads fast, and they should be ashamed of this bait-and-switch. We will never set foot in that shop again. Been going here for years and I always get a great haircut from Gianna. I highly recommend and will be going back regularly.

This is in response to Louis, the business owner who kindly and professionally replied to my earlier review.Thats why you are so successful sir. I provided a more thorough explanation here including how I tried to rectify the cut. I was not charged for the reshaping but now had the disappointment of a cut far shorter than I had wanted. My husband Tom is in the account and took care of our bill that day I use no aliases here: It's the manner in which I was treated by a particular person on that particular day rather than the entire shop. In a nutshell, it's my 71yo opinion that you need to be an insider to get treated with the same respect. My review update: i know it's a barbershop, my husband frequently goes when we snowbird down to Fl, and it's got a great vibe. So I called and asked if they do women's hair; wedge in the back and trim the rest of my hair. They assured me yes. I got the manager? Loud and distracted, she talked/laughed nonstop with other clients/staff. Np, only my hair required attention, her Daughter was great, and asked to style my hair w curls. Nice tho not cheap I gave generous tips. Got home showered dried. One side of my hair was literally, I measured!, over an inch longer than the other. I cut my own hair on occasion, not well, but even I couldn't have done this if I tried. Called the next morning was told to come back. I was annoyed but what finally pissed me off was she never apologized or took any responsibility; (Maybe I folded my legs, maybe I moved, I pulled too hard on one side of my hair, pffft) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop Bc I watched other focused and attentive barbers create beautiful haircuts and styles: men's, boys, and women with buzz cuts. Second time going there. Different barber but same results. Worst haircut I've ever received. You tell them something and they basically disregard and it and do what they want. I asked to take a little of the top and a little off the beard and now I'm basically bald and have no beard. Lines in my fade as well. Buddy gelled my hair and spiked the front. I wanted to write a second review on Google. From my second experience. But it wouldn't allow me so I'm doing it here on yelp. The second time I visited wiseguys barbershop. My hair was long enough for Izzy to give me more style this time. I could not be happier with both the shop. But Izzy is special. I was connected with him on my first experience by the front staff, since I did not know what stylist to go to. The first time I went there wasn't much for him to work with. Due to a cut from a previous stylist at a different shop. The second time I had, Izzy give me a cut. The time the patience the experience and the caring that he showed to give me the best cut he could was phenomenal. So not only do I highly recommend wiseguys barbershop. But I would have a hard time letting anyone else cut my hair. But Izzy. If you're looking for a new location, this is the place to go. read more

First and last time here. The only reason this is 2 stars and not 1 is because they were right with me once I got in, and the haircut was pretty good. Other than that, $65 for a haircut and shave?!?! The straight razor shave didnt even leave me with as clean of a shave as I could do myself. I get my beard shaved with my haircut every once in a while to "pamper myself". The shave itself was $35 and not worth it whatsoever! If you are looking for a haircut its okay but if you are looking for a good shave aswell, go somewhere else or do it yourself! read more

Both times I have came here with an appointment, they were 25-30 minutes late. They do give a good cut which is why they get 4 stars. Not to mention the next business over in the plaza is a pet groomer, so you hear constant barking throughout your haircut. The cut they give is very good, but they are always behind. read more

I definitely have a head of hair! Very thick and curly! Pretty much a Stylist's WORST nightmare! I came to see Candace about a year ago, she SAVED my hair! It was green from another mistake at a salon where they were incompetent! Candace is AMAZING! Now I see Gianna for color, and OMG let me tell you..... I've NEVER been happier than I am now with the results every time Gianna foils me! She's got it going on!!! I will ONLY let her do my hair!!
