How exciting to find this SUPER cute, out of the way shop that is a little off the beaten path in Nashville, IN. I had the hubs drop me off and I went in not knowing what to expect. All I can say is that anyone who knits or crochets HAS to visit this place. They have THE MOST amazing hand spun yarns and materials I have ever seen. This is no Red Heart - Super Saver kinda place. The Clay Purl is the real deal! Being one of a handful of folks in town allowed us some one-on-one time with the really nice lady working at The Clay Purl. She was so sweet to listen to anecdotes about inheriting all kinds of old skool acrylic materials from my crafty grandmother and had some really good ideas of where to donate materials that I would not personally use. Admittedly, it had been too long since I had picked up my own hooks and needles, and she sweetly encouraged me to do so. I plan to return once I have dusted off my hook and picked a project. These yarns are delicious.

This store is like walking into an art fair but you can access it year round at convenient times. I brought my 6 year old and the person working (maybe the owner?) welcomed her to come back, saying she could come whenever she wanted and he'd listen to her (she's a real talker!). I love that, because it was encouraging her to be around the arts. This place is a keeper for sure!
