Jake is AWESOME to work with!! We were able to have the letterpress wedding invitations of our dreams printed here. Can't wait to send them out

My friends recommended this store to add a logo to my clothing. I'm a locksmith by profession, and I needed clothing with my logo and advertisement. I'm very happy with the result--they provided me with two T-shirts and caps, quickly helped me with the design, and got the job done. Now I'm a stylish locksmith :) By the way, there was a really cute dog in the store, and we became friends. This place was recommended to me by some friends from the running club who print hundreds of T-shirts here! Highly recommend!

This was an exceptional experience with even better service. I cannot thank you enough! Jake was so responsive and accommodating! My partner and I made very very last minute plans to fly cross country to attend the Eras concert. First thing I do the next day, is call up Wishing Well Workshop to get matching shirts for the concert. Within minutes, we had picked out the colors and designs for the shirts (I had done some quick Google search to find what would be the best for the shirts), and Jake executed this perfectly. This was Monday, by Thursday early afternoon, I was picking up the shirts for the concert Saturday (we left Friday). All to say is that attending this concert wouldn't be complete without the shirts and Jake / Wishing Well helped make this dream come true. Thank you! Next time I need a shirt made (or any print job), this is hands down my first and only stop!! UPDATE: went to the concert with matching shirts. They were an absolute hit. Apologies for the flooding of pictures of us in our shirts! Thank you so much Wishing Well!!

I had a few t-shirts made just for fun, and they turned out great! Jake was a dream to work with - so professional and responsive. I would recommend this local small business and use them again.

An art store in the neighborhood with supplies like paint and drawing. It's a smaller store with a pick of art supplies. I got a pencil sharpener. It's cute and near the laundromat.

I called them with an idea and they said they would have it ready within a couple of hours for the following day! Cute little shop, friendly employees and awesome work. Definitely coming back! :)

Ugh I wish I found out about this place sooner but at least I did just in time to make an amazing shirt for my boyfriend's birthday!:) - The store itself carries an array of nice art supplies from paper, notebooks, pens, pencils and brushes. ----- [ The inquiry ] ----- - I went on their website and shot them a email regarding my inquiry on what I wanted to do. Though I ended up calling and speaking with Jake about my request afterwards. Then I sent him my artwork and came in the day after! - Jake was amazing!! He gave me options for my art and worked with me on what I wanted. After discussing, he said it would be about 15 minutes so I left and came back and it was done! - IT LOOKED SO GOOD!! I've never had any of my art screen printed so seeing it on a thing was so cool!! - I got one large black shirt and it was $42.32! ---------- Would I come back again? HELL YES! I'm already thinking up fun shirt designs and sharing to my art friends to come and check this place out!!:)

Very friendly and attentive service! Came here looking for some basic leisurely painting supplies and left with a good starter kit. This small shop will meet all your artistic needs with a great selection of professional painting/drawing supplies and tools. #ShopLocal

I worked with the owner, Jake, to design and print a custom t-shirt, and I'm really happy with the outcome.

Something for everyone to scratch that creative itch. There's a lot going on here but it's organized by category which is helpful. Also, there's an option to donate here which is always great! Agree with other reviewers that the area doesn't feel the safest and is a bit apocalyptic (barbed fence wires with no one walking around) but I think it adds to the charm of the place. Just don't recommend coming here at night and take an Uber/drive if you can as it's located in an industrial area.

That said, my recent donation experience was honestly off-putting. When I dropped off my items, the person working the donation window was very dismissive and quickly waved me off without any acknowledgment or basic courtesy. It felt like I was being shooed away rather than thanked for donating. It might seem like a small interaction, but for a place that relies on community contributions, that moment matters. A simple "thank you" or even a neutral, respectful handoff would go a long way. I still appreciate the mission, but the experience made me think twice about donating again. Hoping this is something the team can address.

Regardless, this is a must if you're in SF Japantown for the first time and definitely if you're interested in papercraft. SUPER impressive display of origami that they have here. Things are folded and tucked in such unique ways that I would have never thought of to create so many of their cool crafts. This includes various animals, dinosaurs, references to pop media (Star Wars, Disney, Ghibli, etc.), plants, and much more. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Their shop dog is also impressively large and also really chill. Fun to see 'em wandering around and just hanging out. They seem to also have community events and classes, including free online ones. I'd definitely check out their website and social media accounts for information, but I always LOVE when businesses foster community and build towards hobbies. They also have private classes and they also do events for corpos or birthdays which is pretty neat. HUGE variety of different papers of all prints, patterns and textures, along with guide books, along with various gifts and art supplies and tools. Prices vary based on what you're getting, but seems quite affordable if you're just getting into the craft and pretty reasonable if you're finding fancier imported paper that'd be difficult finding elsewhere. Staff were friendly and ready to answer any questions that we had. If you have a crafty and artistic side, another reason to visit as well!

I suspect that the delay in recognizing the name change was because My Favorite has very similar inventory to Wishbone. I was pleased to learn that it is even run by a former Wishbone employee. On my recent visit here, I was particularly enamored with My Favorite's jewelry section. My eyes were drawn to a pair of delicate beaded gold earrings and the daintiest elegant beaded bracelet. In addition to their well curated jewelry items, they also carry fun SF themed puzzles, cute dishcloths, empowering kids books - and other colorful quirky finds I ended up buying a petite hooked rug pillow with daffodils on it - to commemorate my Welsh heritage - https://www.wales.com/about/welcome-wales/national-symbols-wales . I had hoped the pillow was handmade, but after talking with the helpful and kind staff member here when checking out, she revealed that it was likely mass produced in a factory in China. I appreciated her candid honesty. Even though the pillow was actually fairly hard to the touch, and not handmade - I felt called to purchase it. I would much rather say "aw I love this place," as I pay for an item, rather than "aw I loved that place," when the business is gone. My hard whimsical daffodil pillow now sits upright in the corner of our place. A reminder that even small purchases help support wonderful local businesses. Trust.
