I wasn't able to find my favorite Japanese sketch book by Trystrams at Maido Japantown. Maido did not have a restock date. The notebook is thin, Japanese paper quality amazing and I genuinely cannot find a substitute for this one. Topdrawer, all Japanese merchandise supplier notified me they only carry their proprietary brand. The sales rep however did recommend The Wishing Well workshop. I arrived, the owner looked for the notebook and realized they were sold out. He immediately placed an order and took my contact info to notify me once the order arrives. This was an exceptional experience with even better service. I cannot thank you enough! Jake was so responsive and accommodating! My partner and I made very very last minute plans to fly cross country to attend the Eras concert. First thing I do the next day, is call up Wishing Well Workshop to get matching shirts for the concert. Within minutes, we had picked out the colors and designs for the shirts (I had done some quick Google search to find what would be the best for the shirts), and Jake executed this perfectly. This was Monday, by Thursday early afternoon, I was picking up the shirts for the concert Saturday (we left Friday). All to say is that attending this concert wouldn't be complete without the shirts and Jake / Wishing Well helped make this dream come true. Thank you! The Inner Richmond part of Clement St. lacked any sort of hobby shop that offers unique and high quality art supplies, but now with the Wishing Well Workshop, there's a spot to quickly and easily get whatever you need! Also, the Wishing Well offers really cool screen-print designs on all sorts of things! The owner makes super cool designs revolving around the neighborhood, SF and California as a whole, as well as SF sports teams! You can pick up an awesome sweatshirt, or tshirt that make great gifts (I've already gifted a few things from here with great feedback). Ugh I wish I found out about this place sooner but at least I did just in time to make an amazing shirt for my boyfriend's birthday!:) - The store itself carries an array of nice art supplies from paper, notebooks, pens, pencils and brushes. ----- [ The inquiry ] ----- - I went on their website and shot them a email regarding my inquiry on what I wanted to do. Though I ended up calling and speaking with Jake about my request afterwards. Then I sent him my artwork and came in the day after! - Jake was amazing!!
