I was in need of an iPhone 5S and looked through all of Craigslist to look for a good, legitimate deal (lost my previous iPhone so didn't want to shell out an exorbitant amount). Wisp was the only one that seemed legit so I went ahead and got in touch. They were extremely polite, seemed to know their phones and delivered to me an iPhone, exactly as it was depicted in the photos. Although their delivery charge ($50) was a bit on the higher side, I'm not complaining because I got an excellent refurbished model and on time as they promised and at a very good price. They made sure that I was happy with it before they left and assured full service with respect to it so long as it was within their warranty period. All in all, excellent! read more

Initially had brought my iPhone in for a battery replacement. Went flawless. Very quick service and my iPhone was back up and running like new. Decided to bring my wife and daughter's iPhones in as well for battery replacement. Another great experience. They really stand behind their work. Kept me informed throughout the process. I would be HIGHLY cautious going to this place. I went in for a screen repair on my iPhone 7. First of all, they tried to convince me it was an iPhone 8, which costs $50 more. They were either wrong or trying to cheat me, but I didn't find this out until later. I gave them my phone and he insisted he needed my passcode....for a screen repair. He spent over 1 hour with my phone in the back, only then coming out to tell me they didn't even have an iPhone 8 screen. Why would it take an hour to figure that out and what was he doing with my unlocked phone for an hour if he wasn't fixing the screen?? They were all smiles, but there was something really fishy about this place. Don't let my bad experience be yours. I eventually found Mobile Repair at the Shell station next to IHOP near Oakwood who told me it was an iPhone 7, did an awesome job replacing the screen, and gave me a gorgeous bejeweled case, and threw in a new free screen protector for just $85, whereas Wisp Would have charged me $150 and cheated me out of some money. I asked if they could fix my back camera and they stated that they could. However, they did not know what they were doing and made me wait a whole day to receive my phone back. When they gave me my phone back, there was a crack that they left on my back camera. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! THE SERVICE IS SOOOOOOO BAD! read more

Wisp is always professional, flexible, and willing to accommodate all of my requests. They have fixed all of my electronics at least once and I will bring them back every time I inevitably break them again. One time I water-damaged my phone and John repaired it just enough for me to retrieve years worth of pictures and back them up on a cloud service. Life-saver. They are also super transparent during the repair and will personally call you to keep you updated if anything is not going as planned. I've been dealing with wisp for nearly the last 7 years or so. I've had numerous devices fixed, jail broken, upgrades and add-on's over that time. They've always had great customer service, a comfortable environment and personalized care. But nothing really allowed their true light to shine as the incident that happened this summer. I purposely keep my devices for as long as they work so it isn't uncommon that Wisp has seen a device more than once. Before leaving for vacation I dropped a cpu off for a charger, it was found out that more was needed and I wasn't able to pick it up before I left . Bc of my personal situation one of the owners, Chris made an exception to the rule for me and mailed my cpu to me after the work was completed . Unfortunately, it was lost in the mail . Where most people would have taken the opportunity to say I told you so, Wisp excepted full responsibility and bought me another cpu (with upgrades) ! Nick you were awesome in making sure I stood up to date, Chris personally worked on my case until it was resolved. Thanks guys for going above and beyond. I brought my 5 yr old laptop in b/c I tried downloading some programs online and it totally jacked my laptop up. The guys at WISP were really outstanding. Great customer service and quick turnaround. They went above and beyond on a lot of little things. They hooked me up with a free antivirus they said has a better rating than Norton and when I mentioned the issues I had trying to download a DVD ripping program online, they went ahead and installed one for me. And they physically cleaned my laptop! Thing looks brand new! Really great experience with these guys, highly recommend them. read more

I had a great experience here. Wisp is very conveniently located for westbankers on Manhattan in the very nice Fountain Park Centre. I had a shattered iPhone 6 screen and was told it would take between 45 minutes to an hour. I left to check out the new Hobby Lobby in the meantime and run some errands. I came back in about an hour to a good as new phone! They gave me the chance to check my phone out before paying. I also chose to have them install tempered glass on my phone for $20. They said if my phone was to fall again, the tempered glass would break instead of my actual screen and could just be removed in that case. Their price menu is located on their website. It was a crazy Halloween weekend, I was running all over the place and was about to go to Voodoo Fest when I get out of my car and of course my phone falls FLAT on the cement. To my horror, the screen was shattered. PANIC MODE. I needed my phone to work ESPECIALLY for Voodoo in a couple of hours. so my friend did a quick search on yelp and luckily we were down the street from this place. I had my phone battery changed out on my HTC phone. I took in my own high quality battery and they installed it for me for a fair price. Many places will not install batteries on HTC phones. Have you ever emailed a place of business with a question only never to hear from them? Well I have on more occasions than I care to remember. That NE-VA happens at Wisp.
