I was looking for a massage parlor that offered couples massages in our area and I booked at this…read morelocation because it had good reviews. However, after visiting the location I discovered they are masters of the "bait and switch" pricing scheme. When we arrived, May, took us to the couple's room. When I returned she advised me they offered three types of massages and that the AcuQi was the best one. The way it was presented made it seem like it was one of three types included in the package I already paid a deposit for. She then mentioned that hot stones could be added and when I asked how much she said $15 per person for one area. I agreed to pay the extra for the hot stone massage. When it was time to check out I was advised that we could save $10 if we left a 5-star review on Google before we left, hence the good ratings because they are giving you a $10 "discount". After I wrote the review, she advised me that we owed $160 minus the $10 for the review so we owed $150 on top of the $80 deposit we already paid. She said the AcuQi massage was $110 per person but as you can see from the screenshot it's listed as $90 per person on the website. The couples massage is listed as $130 but I was charged $160, as you can see from the screenshots. They also charge you a 3.95% fee for using a credit card but there is no fee if you use Venmo or Zelle. She never rung anything up on a cash register and gave me my total on a Post-it note. The fact that they are using Venmo and Zelle and not tracking their charges leads me to believe they are NOT paying their taxes or reporting their sales accurately. DO NOT use this place because they are dishonest. A potential client called while we were waiting and she pushed the AcuQi massage on her telling her it was the best they offered. I forgot to mention my massage was horrible! He used heavy pressure even after I asked him to lighten up.

SUCH AN AMAZING SPA. From the second I walked in, to the second I walked out... I was pleased with…read moreevery single aspect of this place. To start, when I was first emailing them... they were so prompt in all of their email replies to me. I really do appreciate that in a business. Moving on to their facility... it is so clean and calming. It's definitely easy to relax in this environment. When I checked in for my appointment, I was taken on a tour of the facility... they offer so many services!! I got a hot stone massage and then I had a float session. This massage was one of the best massages I've had in my entire life... and I get massages A LOT. It felt so good and was so relaxing! And then this was my first time doing a float session, and I felt so relaxed after it! Just to walk everyone through the process... -You have your own room with either a pod or cabin. You can choose which one you want. The pod is smaller than the cabin, and that's the only way they differ. -You put earplugs in, fully shower (NO CONDITIONER), and put petroleum jelly on any little scrapes to protect from the salt. -Music will start to play to let you know your session is starting. You step into your pod or cabin, lay down, and float. And trust me, you will float!!! There is so much salt in there. -You are encouraged to turn the lights off, but if you don't want to... you can leave them on. The door can open at any time... you are never "trapped" in there. If you need immediate assistance, there is a panic button to push for help. -Music will start to play again for 5 minutes when your session is over. -You will then completely shower off again (you can use conditioner now) and then you're done! 100% would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! Thank you so much for providing such an amazing experience !!

I have REALLY wanted to go to a float spa again since my 1st experience in Phoenix. I got a $50…read moregift certificate for my birthday & used it toward floats for me & my other half, scheduled 1 week out. Apparently, the night before our floats, the owner changed the days & hours of operation for the last couple of weeks they will be open. Supposedly, they posted this on "social media" and sent e-mails, but I never received an e-mail or was notified of this by any means. In fact, their scheduler system had me confirm the appointments the day before. I had the day off, but my other half used a vacation day, and we drove an hour and a half to Houston just to sit outside a locked facility. There was no sign on the door or anything stating the changes, and their website, at the time of writing this review, doesn't show the changes or mention closing, either. We left 2 voicemails and finally got on the website on our phone to use the Contact Us form (I put my phone # in the message since my computer was at home and I don't get email on my phone). They answered me via e-mail, which I did not see until we got home, but no one ever bothered to call us. The end result was a refund of what went on my credit card, but nothing else. Happy birthday to me...
