they are either late or don't show up at all. They charge you different fees for the same ride and if you don't speak Spanish, you do have a difficult time. Some of the rudest, most unprofessional drivers I have ever come across. Almost hitting parked cars, constantly texting, cutting people off, marked lanes violations, road rage, the list goes on. If you want a safe ride with a courteous driver, look elsewhere. read more

I was behind a Witch City Taxi driver (car #41) today who would not pull over for an emergency vehicle. They also kept randomly stopping in the middle of a typically very busy road, even though there was nobody in front of them. These behaviors are dangerous for other drivers on the road. read more

I was using this taxi service almost every day to get to and from work through the Taxi Caller app now that it's colder outside. I won't be using them anymore. I booked a ride with them on Tuesday (yesterday) and the call out wasn't getting picked up by any of their drivers, so I just cancelled that call out and made another one with another taxi company. I'm trying to get to work and I don't have time to wait 20 minutes for someone to accept the ride. Simple, right? WRONG. So I go to wait outside for my other taxi from a completely different company and he's already there, so I go to get in, and this Witch City Taxi car pulls onto my street. He starts SCREAMING at me, but by this time I'm already in the other taxi and really confused as to why he's even there. My taxi driver goes to pull out my driveway, and this absolute d*ckhead blocks him in and continues to scream to never cancel on him again, and sped off like a lunatic. I didn't cancel on you. The ride was never even accepted. I can go into my ride history to prove it. You took it upon yourself to come to my house to YELL at me about cancelling a ride that hasn't even been confirmed, and blocked my driver into my driveway, instead of just picking up another client. You wasted your own time and made your company lose someone who was giving them a good amount of money per month. read more

Also took 20 minutes picking me up when they said they'd come in 5 minutes. The driver wouldn't even park in front of my house. Terrible service I will never use them again. My wife ordered a taxi from Witch City to meet her at the commuter rail station to bring her home. It didn't show up, and when she called they said someone else had taken her cab. She asked if they could send another, and they said, Sure -- in 45 minutes! We won't be using them again. read more

Unbelievably bad. Very little English. The drivers will hijack other drivers fares and not even know what address their supposed to take you too. - and since they don't speak English - it's almost impossible to confirm if you got into the right taxi - or whether they know your intended destination!! Meandering thru purposely inefficient routes to run up the fares is beyond obnoxious. Stay the heck away - VERY sleazy taxi service that charges double Uber or Lyft. I actually signed up for Yelp just to write this review b/c I've never had worse customer service in my life: I called for a ride to the Salem train station and told the operator what time I needed to be there to make my train. She said it would be no problem. 5 minutes before my scheduled pickup, there was still no taxi, so I called them back. The operator said he would be there shortly. 5 minutes later, there is still no taxi. I call again, and the operator tells me that the taxi is actually in the next town over and wouldn't be able to make the scheduled time. I never got a ride, and was very very late for work. I will not be using Witch City Taxi ever again. read more

The absolute worst experience. The driver was rude, nasty, and belligerent, not on time and screamed at me. She barely stopped to let me get in the cab and I told her to stop so I could load my bag in the car. The driver tells me to stop acting up or she would make me get out. I use this company very often because it is only five dollars anywhere in Salem I had a time cab for11 PM to be picked up from dropping off my zip car in a parking lot , again I had a TIME CAB FOR 11PM at 10:58 I arrived called the dispatcher A few times to make sure he would be there on time and knew exactly where it was as I said I got there two minutes early at 11:02 PM I called back again to see where he is and they had told me that the driver had left and is already in Beverly I asked how long for another cab they said 45 minutes I said that is ridiculous I had a time cab for 11 PM how is he in Beverly at 11:02 that makes no sense how are you in the next town over two minutes after you were supposed to be at my location to pick me up they are ridiculously rude on the phone horrible customer service I don't recommend them if you have to be somewhere on time I only recommend them if you have any flexibility of time and live in Salem or are in Salem and have to go somewhere that is in Salem for the flat rate of five dollars there is also other companies that do the same for a dollar or two more , you lost my business completely! They also tell you 5-10 mins come 30-40 mins later ! When I asked who is the manger or in charge he wouldn't give me his name said call in the am I asked which taxi had left me and never picked me up he said I don't know and then gave me a random cab number of the car after arguing on the phone and him yelling being extremely rude and telling me all well he don't know what to say to me ! Third time I used them and the last. All 3 times they didnt show up and I had to call back. All 3 times I got some lame excuse. If it is not a convenient location to pick you up, they will tell you a time they will be there, and never show up. This has happened to me with them number of times now. Last time this happened i had called them back only to hear the dispatcher accidently pick up the phone so i could hear his convocation with other customers with him swearing at them and them telling him they dont know where he is taking them. First of all, shouldnt the dispatcher be at the office?! This taxi company is a mess, along with everyother salem taxi company. Salem is in need of a trusting taxi. read more
