Worst taxi company in Salem they consistently tell you that they're going to be there by a certain time and then they're late when you call to ask where your taxi is they give you another time often they're late for that time it's obvious that the dispatcher does not know how to judge how long it will take for a taxi to be there. The drivers are nice enough and the cars are okay but don't expect them to be there when you need them to be there. It's not worth the trouble when often and Uber is the same price or a few dollars more but often cheaper. You get better service by going to AmeriCab and it's the same price read more

I was vacationing in Salem earlier this month, and called for a taxi to take me to the airport the next morning. I called one taxi service, and figured I would ring Witch City Taxi - the name, you know! The person answering the call had a lot of difficulty in taking my information. I always spear slowly and clearly, and it took 4 tries before they got the address of my downtown AirBnB - 24 Hawthorne Street. I repeated all the information, and figured that I was all set - with two taxis, I was certain to get to Logan Airport on time. This Witch City Taxi rang me, and asked where I was. I was sitting outside my building. He was at the Hawthorne Hotel, and asked when I was coming downstairs. I told him where I was, three times, and had to give him directions. Now, I do NOT live in Salem....Anyway, I told him that I needed to leave immediately. However, the other taxi service showed up, and I got to Logan Airport on time. These guys are great. I often use them to pick me up from the grocery store and their drivers never fail to try and help with my bags. They never keep me waiting long after I call . I have also booked a ride in advance and they showed up on time. One of the drivers told me that they have a flat fair of $6 to go to be picked up in Salem and go to anywhere else in Salem. Since the Pandemic hit it has been impossible to get an Uber or a Lyft ( all their drivers are on the Pandemic unemployment) so it is nice to have transportation that you can count on read more

I was using this taxi service almost every day to get to and from work through the Taxi Caller app now that it's colder outside. I won't be using them anymore. I booked a ride with them on Tuesday (yesterday) and the call out wasn't getting picked up by any of their drivers, so I just cancelled that call out and made another one with another taxi company. I'm trying to get to work and I don't have time to wait 20 minutes for someone to accept the ride. Simple, right? WRONG. So I go to wait outside for my other taxi from a completely different company and he's already there, so I go to get in, and this Witch City Taxi car pulls onto my street. He starts SCREAMING at me, but by this time I'm already in the other taxi and really confused as to why he's even there. My taxi driver goes to pull out my driveway, and this absolute d*ckhead blocks him in and continues to scream to never cancel on him again, and sped off like a lunatic. I didn't cancel on you. The ride was never even accepted. I can go into my ride history to prove it. You took it upon yourself to come to my house to YELL at me about cancelling a ride that hasn't even been confirmed, and blocked my driver into my driveway, instead of just picking up another client. The worst experience ever. We had scheduled with them to pick us up at Symphony Hall at 12:30 am on News Years and they left messages on our phone starting at 11pm (our phone was off due to being at a concert) that no one wanted to come in to Boston to get us. We were stranded in frigid temperatures, running all over town looking for a taxi- finally found one but it took AWHILE. This was completely and utterly unacceptable- a total bummer. read more

If 0 stars were possible, I'd choose it. We are from out of town and needed to go to Walmart to buy a couple light groceries so we didn't have to eat out for everything while being here. We called them to go to the store as well as coming back. While each time they arrived almost immediately, neither drivers spoke English well and they were rude. Now that I could deal with if we weren't scared for our lives!! They BOTH were texting while driving, speeding, cutting other drivers off and swerving. On the way to Walmart we had to pick up another stranger forcing me to sit in the middle of the cab uncomfortably! The stranger even spoke up to the drivers reckless driving. Not to mention the driver was racist, he picked up the phone to talk to someone in Spanish saying he just picked up a couple of yanks. The man did not know that I'm Panamanian and Spanish is my first language. On top of that, we paid more than were promised and the driver that took us back kept cussing because he could not text and drive as much as he wanted due to other cars and traffic lights.
