My elderly neighbor was released by the hospital today and was told to pick her medication on the…read moreway home. I went to pick her up at the hospital and we drove to Walgreens to get her medicine. They had one filled but not the other. The woman at the drive through just said come in and shop and we will have it ready in 20-30 minutes. My neighbor, 86 years old who had just spent 5 days in the hospital didn't feel like "shopping". I asked why it would take so long to get medication filled and her response was " it's a process ". I can count out 30 pills in 30 seconds. I am new to Owensboro myself but will certainly not use Walgreens on Frederica Street for my personal medication.
