A younger female employee with a long dark ponytail brought our food over, I think she was a food runner - but she wasn't wearing the Vivel branded t shirt like the other employees. When my husband politely asked for ketchup, she visibly rolled her eyes before bringing it. When I then asked if I could please have a knife (I'm seven months pregnant, for context), she started to walk to get one, took two steps, turned back and said "you can go get it yourself". It felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially given how quiet the café was at the time. We stayed for a while after and watched her standing by the counter organizing utensils, so it wasn't a matter of being too busy. We really like this place and will continue coming back, but this interaction stood out in a negative way and didn't reflect the level of service we've experienced before.

In terms of being a tea/boba tea place it's pretty good and I did enjoy my drink (creme brulee late), as well as the two pastries my wife and I got. I believe I would come back here after some time has passed, but it's a bit out of the way and we don't usually come out this way. In terms of the pastries, I enjoyed the crookie (never had it before until today) but the everything croissant with cream cheese isn't what I expected (cream cheese was sweet) and I thought it was just too.
