Alex and his assistant were fantastic! I called after Lowes delivery/installation guys were incredibly rude and refused to haul away my old wall oven/micro combo. Alex and his assistant were at my place in 1 hour and he happily removed my old wall oven combo and installed my new one. He was quick, kind and precise. He even did all of this while my 14 month old daughter was napping in her bedroom next to the kitchen! Thanks so much!! The result is beauiful!!

I found Alex to be completely unprofessional and inept as a dishwasher installer. He also did nothing but complain from the minute he arrived and started adding to his price. He told me to read the use instructions as he didn't know the machine that well and could only show how to turn on and off. He also left me in a mess (See Pics). Alex said it wasn't his job to put the cabinet or dishwasher doors back flush or even or reinstall the kick plate because he wasn't a cabinet man. But it was ok to charge me an extra $40.00 to be left with an incomplete installation! Fortunately, Pacific Sales is giving me a credit for his lack of competence.

Our over the range microwave broke last week and Best Buy couldn't arrange installation of our new one for two weeks and we didn't want to wait that long. After finding Wizard Appliance on Yelp, I texted Alex and he responded right away. During a friendly and helpful conversation, he gave me a clear estimate and asked thorough questions. On our agreed upon day to do the work, Alex had a morning cancellation and offered to come earlier than planned, which we appreciated. He removed our old microwave and expertly installed the new one in a timely fashion. The whole experience was so easy and pleasant -- I would recommend Alex to anyone.

Cooktop and built in convection oven

I contacted Alex and he came over the next day to go over my project and give me an estimate. I wanted to replace our cook top and built in oven. The hurdle I had was that my kitchen cabinetry was old and the equipment currently installed was of standard sizes that are no longer available. The new cook tops and built in ovens are now manufactured with bigger standard sizes. Alex told me we can install the new, larger appliances but we would need to modify the existing cabinetry and granite counter top. Alex was very generous with his time. I called Alex with technical questions and for advice, as my wife and I shopped for our replacement cook top and built in oven, on at least 3 different occasions and even once on a weekend. And texted him a few times as well. He answered my calls and texts each time. When our appliances arrived at our home, I let Alex know and he came out 2 days later to do our project. Alex had to cut out the cabinetry openings, had to lower the floor on the cabinet that housed the oven. He relocated the gas line, he relocated the electrical junction box for the oven, and he cut the granite countertop opening bigger for the cooktop to fit. All of this was professionally done and came out beautiful. It looks like this new equipment was always there. Alex was very careful to not damage anything and cleaned up very well after himself. He was polite, professional, and thorough. He explained very carefully what he was going to do, and when he was done he showed me everything that he did. My wife and I are very happy with the project Alex did for us from beginning to end. I highly recommend Alex for any project from simple to more complex.

Wrong size connector

ZERO start if I could! The most important thing you are looking for is good service and honestly and safety and then a good price and Wizard Appliance offer Non of the above! Save your self headache. I remodeled my entire kitchen and found him on Yelp! he came for free and quoted me and I hired him. First of all he showed up at 12 PM which I learned is very late to install that much of appliances, so he was in rush to leave and He did not test any appliances and just created a big mess! The refrigerator start leaking water and damaged my floor! The oven was installed but didn't notice it's too close to refrigerator and the fridge door doesn't open at all! The oven was installed loose with wrong size elbow connector and I am talking about hazard! I am glad we end up removing the double oven and my electrician saw it. I end up removing the oven and reinstall it and when I told him that was installed wrong he texted me that better I go with someone else. I should mention that all this installation could've be free for me with BEST BUY and I just didn't know and obviously the installer didn't mention because of $$$ Attach my screenshots to this company and

Fantastic service from the first call through the final installation! We bought a new range hood from Amazon to replace our old unit from the '60s and needed a professional install. Alex responded to my Yelp request right away and quoted prices over the phone. I sent him a few pictures of our old install and he brought all the necessary parts to the appointment. He was on time, professional, and friendly. He was very knowledgable about the inner workings of the new unit as well as the existing electrical and ducting connections. The install was quick and Alex did a great job of protecting our new cooktop while he was working. Plus, he had some great recommendations for a new dishwasher and oven. We would definitely use Alex again!

All done. I'm a sucker for red :)

Wow. There are (4) Yelp pages for this business…read more One in Valencia, One in Northridge, Pasadena and one in Canyon Country. When I was looking on Yelp originally I was looking at recommended companies based on my search for appliance repair while creating a project. The Valencia company profile is the one that I saw. The reviews were excellent. And the company was the nicest of the other three that I reached out to. They were very upfront with there is a $65 fee just to come out and take a look. The gentleman who arrived was extremely nice, very personable. But that can also work against you as a customer. I was in the middle of work. And at the same time, my sons were all coming home. So I'm a busy mom. I don't have time to babysit when I have an expert come out to repair something in my home. And I also don't have time to have to side eye someone and make sure they're not taking advantage of me. And low-key throughout this entire visit I felt that. When he walks in my home how nice my home is and notably cool it was inside compared to the scorch of summer outside. Appreciated but that convo rolled into mention of my AC bill being expensive/high. Of course it is. That's a second assessment (to me) of what price range he's looking to put me in. From the gate, he went on to tell me how I have the BMW of dryers. That off the rip let me know that I'd already been assessed. My thought, how is this the BMW of dryers when it's as old as a 2006 per the receipt. I didn't want to even tell this gentleman that I have a whole business surrounding appliance installation and delivery.. I kept it to myself. He talks so fast and with a heavy accent when it comes to explaining to me what's wrong with the dryer. But when it came down to him explaining to me thoroughly and clearly what was wrong with my dryer, I was left uncertain of what was wrong (it wasn't clear) and anxious. He took the dryer apart. The dryer did not have a power issue at all. But I saw him take a small fuse to start my dryer up (or check a current). The dryer didn't have a problem with the drum. My dryer's issue was that it was no longer producing heat. The gentleman points to an area of the dryer (once it's opened) and told me that it was broken. And that he was gonna charge me I believe the original price may have been 500 something. He came down from that to 450. I immediately felt ripped off. Then he goes into telling me how I need to keep my lint trap clean. Mind you. I'm a person who grew up with a very strict parent who would punish me if I did not have that lint trap cleaned. So my traumas ensure that that lint trap does not get crazy and it was not crazy when he came. We were in disbelief that the dryer wasn't drying so we just kept running it over and over again so the little bit of lint that was in the trap had zero to do with why the dryer was not drying. Again, another point I did not feel it necessary to have to explain at that point ( to me ) he was just trying to find reason to pile up more fees. Now here I am looking at my receipt. He charged me $50 for a cleaning charge?!! I did not ask him to clean a doggon thing! His service fee alone was $350!! The part, he charged me $50, which I'm also gonna post a picture of how much the part cost in fairness. The part OEM is no more than $70. $70 plus the $65 fee to come out plus a service fee and tax would have been acceptable. Not $450 and he didn't even leave the broken part. Definitely do your research prior to. And be sure you're paying attention when the service team is there otherwise you will get GOT.
