This time, the challenge is to replace the carpeted stairway with hardwood to match the stairs with the rest of the home that already has hardwood floor. And, like last time, Daniel's team went above and beyond to ensure the project was on time (finished it in two days!) and with top notch quality. Our floor vendor screwed up and told us to order fewer stair nose pieces than we actually needed. Daniel's team took the initiative to create the stair nose out of our spare floor planks to finish the project on time and actually ended up saving us some money on that. I had a sloppy tile contractor who had missed several grout lines and several places had pin holes…read morethat ultimately would damage the tiles when cleaning them with water. Used Yelp to start getting bids on different contractors. Many of the contractors did not provide this kind of service or it was not worth their time. Peter the owner of Marblelife contacted me via Yelp and informed me that he could help with the grout lines. His initial visit was to inspect the tiles/grout and then provided me an estimate. He was able to order the custom grout for me which matched the color of the existing grout. Now most contractors would of done this job in a rush. Peter properly did the job and cleaned up on the spots that needed to be corrected. Most importantly, he did not leave the house dirty. His work is neat and precise. It took Peter approximately 8 hours to correct the work by the lousy contractor that we hired to install the tiles. Peter's costs are also reasonable and fair.

By the time we walked in to Anaya Tile, we were completely unsure of what we were doing. Adam greeted us and offered to help. He spent so much time with us going through options, helping us navigate all the types of tile, laying things out for us, and pulling tiles he thought we might like. We went around and around and he showed nothing but patience and helpfulness the whole time. Even after we selected a design, we ended up changing our minds again, spending another block of time with Adam. It was so nice to feel like we could take our time deciding with the help of someone trustworthy and enthusiastic. Through the time we spent at Anaya Tile, we came to know it as a family business, very community oriented and passionate about helping their customers. Carpet Emporium was my 4th or 5th place I tried. I was welcomed in by Lisa Ybarra (very nice & knowledgeable) she helped me with color choices and what is popular or in style currently. Explained all the differences in types of materials and the quality of them. Then I asked the hard question, "Do you have any of the luxury quality options at a good price?" We both looked at each other like "yeah that doesn't seem likely." Haha. But she made some calls and was able to find the quality of flooring I was looking for around my price range. They also have clearance sales sometimes I believe and that was one of the options I went with. They also are a one stop shop and can take your measurements for square footage and have installers I believe for an additional price. I was able to pick my flooring up the very next day! Once an installation date was scheduled they made the preparation process easy since they gave me details about what should be doing. On the schedule date 2 workers came, they measured the garage and quoted me baded on their measurements. The workers eyeing were early a d took them less than 4 hours to complete. Once the workers finished they provided instructions for the curing process. These instructions were also emailed and text. It's about 2 week since I hired now and I love how it came out. It's a big change and now I can set my garage how I want it. Definitely recommend this company!!

The crew showed up right on time (which is rare these days), fully prepared, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. We had our kitchen cabinets painted by these guys. They removed the doors and took them back to their shop to sand and paint and they returned a few days later to paint the rest of the cabinets. They did a great job. They have a couple of touch-ups left to complete, but Walid came and walked the finished job with me and scheduled the touch ups. In addition, we are getting quotes to have the living room painted. Adding a video of the completed job. Overall, great work at a reasonable price and they only took a few days. I will state only facts about some of the things we've had to redo because of Diverse inefficiency. Eduardo will write back with excuses for everything saying they weren't at fault! If you read their reviews, they always blame the homeowner when they mess up! Fact: Our project was delayed by MONTHS because material was not ordered. I made a call to manufacturers , it was cuz materials weren't ordered! Fact: we now have less cupboard space cuz measurements were wrong! Fact: I had to hire a different contractor to finish work cuz Eduardo said "it's your fault for changing "... We NEVER changed anything! Fact: I had to hire a professional to redo our grout and flooring cuz it was installed so poorly. Fact: I had to hire a plumber to redo plumbing because Diverse installed new plumbing incorrectly! Eduardo will say " you didn't give us a chance to make things right" ! You had already installed incorrect the first time AND I definitely had NO trust in your abilities to make it right! We had several water leaks, hot water instead of cold in our laundry room and many other problems because Diverse installed incorrect! Fact: I had two inspectors and two different contractors all saying that our remodel was done by someone who clearly did below average quality workmanship. We spent well over $140,000.00 with Diverse Home Concepts for a poorly constructed kitchen remodel ! I've left off many more things that went wrong, I only hope that if you use this contractor, you trust your own instincts and stay diligent with them! You guys were so nice in the beginning, we let our guard down and that's on us for believing you were honest good people.

He asked for another $10,000 so he could deliver them and install. I said NO and ended up giving him $5,000 more towards flooring. Cabinets come and they did not match what I had. He said they would make to match perfectly- white Quaker style. Measurements all off (smaller). The worker said they would be putting wood paneling to make up difference! Why would I want less cupboard space?? Then I overheard the worker tell other one in Spanish that he got home late night before cuz he was at Chino warehouse buying my ready-made cabinets!! What a rip-off. Fired Stan that day, had him take back his cabinets, and refund me for flooring. Got back just under $5,000 so he made $8,000 off me just to remove the fluorescent ceiling in kitchen. They left all trash in my backyard. Didn't cover anything while working so entire house was covered in dust for years. This happened about 4-5 yrs ago but I guess I was too angry to want to think or write about it until now. Stan used his Christianity to relate to me and convince me to hire him. This man is despicable.
