It was just over one year ago that our kitchen remodel project began. i waited to post this review because of all the things another contractor had to redo . I will state only facts about some of the things we've had to redo because of Diverse inefficiency. Eduardo will write back with excuses for everything saying they weren't at fault! If you read their reviews, they always blame the homeowner when they mess up! Fact: Our project was delayed by MONTHS because material was not ordered. I made a call to manufacturers , it was cuz materials weren't ordered! Fact: we now have less cupboard space cuz measurements were wrong! Fact: I had to hire a different contractor to finish work cuz Eduardo said "it's your fault for changing "... We NEVER changed anything! Fact: I had to hire a professional to redo our grout and flooring cuz it was installed so poorly. Fact: I had to hire a plumber to redo plumbing because Diverse installed new plumbing incorrectly! Eduardo will say " you didn't give us a chance to make things right" ! You had already installed incorrect the first time AND I definitely had NO trust in your abilities to make it right! We had several water leaks, hot water instead of cold in our laundry room and many other problems because Diverse installed incorrect! Fact: I had two inspectors and two different contractors all saying that our remodel was done by someone who clearly did below average quality workmanship. We spent well over $140,000.00 with Diverse Home Concepts for a poorly constructed kitchen remodel ! I've left off many more things that went wrong, I only hope that if you use this contractor, you trust your own instincts and stay diligent with them! You guys were so nice in the beginning, we let our guard down and that's on us for believing you were honest good people. read more

We were ready to buy a new house because our house was dreary, dark, and generally cramped. Then my wife forced me to see the Marvel like superheroes at DHC. We thought showing them our house would have scared them off, but instead like Babe Ruth calling his shot, Eduardo confidently said, "you're going to love your house once we're done." I laughed at the young man which was a huge mistake - I'll never again doubt a superhero with general contracting and INTEGRITY as his superpowers. Obviously, I blame Eduardo and the DHC team for making me screw the seller of that house, because not only do we now love our house, but our house actually makes my wife and I feel good. Yes, we feel good in our house because of the work DHC performed. Weird, right? Look, I can talk all day about how the perfectionists at DHC transformed our house into our dream home, but take a look at some of our pics and I hope Eduardo will post more of the before and after pics - so all of this makes sense. I didn't have many before pics because I thought I was moving. Working with DHC was an absolute pleasure from start to finish and the 3D renderings didn't even begin to reflect how great the finished product turns out. DHC's integrity shined through in every aspect of their work, ensuring transparency and trust throughout the entire remodel process. This is important to us since all we heard before starting the process was remodel nightmares including how people wouldn't show up and that it will take longer than the contractor tells you. DHC promises then over delivers! Their skill and expertise are evident in the flawless execution of every detail of our house, from structural changes to the finest finishes that even I thought were over the top. So, my wife and I give our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Eduardo, Pricilla, Rafael, Victor, Ivan, Brandon, Johnny, and Nico, our dark and dreary house has been transformed into our dream home that we absolutely adore. Wow! Eduardo, your continued unprofessionalism and incompetence continues to amaze me. How you have any positive reviews is baffling. $32 k?! I wish!!! I'm sorry did, your record-keeping fail you again? Your direct invoice and quote for the amount we paid is attached straight from you! $37,000!!! All the add-ins and change-orders are a direct result of the poor initial estimate where we thought work was included and it was not!!! You purposely sent someone who has no experience in conducting the actual work, no expertise in home construction (Priscilla), who promises all upon initial consultation and apparently misses all of it in contract and miscommunicates with you. We think it's included in the contract, because although you pride yourself on detailed contract itemization, (laughable since we had to order you to itemize your stuff further) it is absolutely far from! And you are literally on POS status for blaming the leak on us?!?! WOWZERS! You actually wrote that on here...our fault?! Man oh man! Your people left behind exposed plumbing, you had no clue, you didn't bother checking work... and you have the audacity of blaming it on us not wanting to install your piece of crap faucets as opposed to the ones we had ordered with you months back?! You want to blame supply problems?! We got the "elusive" faucets in one day, driving down the street to the local faucet shop!!!!!!! Amazing gall you have! BTW another contractor just showed up to complete our other restroom and although he hated "belittling" another company, he could not believe the price we paid for the little amount of work and crappy installations and workmanship! BOTTOM LINE: The project went way past any timeline (months), went way over budget, and you caused significant damage to existing and new materials in the home. Throughout the process and experience, what stood out to me - beyond the good work - was the work ethic this company has amongst its crew members. Strictly working from 8 A.M. - 5 P.M., they were incredibly organized, professional & consistent with their work, response times & communication with my wife and I. Eduardo is the boss, & under him there was a project manager, Brandon...& various crew members under him. All workers were respectful of our home, as well as the fact that we just had had a baby...& the schedule that demanded from all of us was no problem for this company. Again...from 8 - 5 they worked..diligently & very respectively. Professionalism seems to be their creedo & they clearly strived for trust among their customers...all of which they had deffinitely earned not only at the end of the project, but at the end of every day they were here. They fixed, rebuilt & replaced all we asked...and even did a few tidying up in other areas just simply because we asked & "it wasn't a big deal." Eduardo & his team did a really outstanding job on our kitchen. As you can see in the before pictures how tiny our kitchen was. We had to knockdown 3 sheer walls to open it up completely. Eduardo & his team made it look easy they are very reliable & punctual. I received multiple quotes for my kitchen and they were the most reasonable priced for the design I wanted. Eduardo and his crew were all super nice and trustworthy and I never worried about leaving the house for work. They always cleaned up after themselves and wore masks. I did have a slight issue with the work an electrician did on the job but Eduardo was quick to call him to fix the problem. I found this company on Yelp. After getting a few different estimates we decided to go with Diverse Tile Works. We felt Eduardo was an honest person and his prices were very reasonable. We also liked the reviews on his page. We signed the contract and they started demo that Monday. This company is a family owned business. All his workers were very nice and respectful. We stayed living in our home throughout the whole process of the construction and they set everything up so its as convenient as possible to walk through and keeping things clean. We did a very big project and the whole thing took about a month. We never ran into any problems. They showed up on time everyday and worked hard throughout the day. My family felt very comfortable with them and we even took a mini vacation while the workers stayed at our home. Everything came out beautiful! The first contractor we hired was a total failure and had to fire him and look for another one. Thank goodness we found Eduardo and his team. They did a total house renovation for us and my husband and I are glad and thankful for their excellent work and service. We were very pleased with Diverse Tile Works. We hired them to remodel our kitchen and one bathroom. They did everything from drywall to tile flooring to backsplash and countertops and paint. What I like about them compared to other contractors we met is that they are a family owned company, so you do not have random subcontractors that you fear may not show up. Eduardo is the owner and licensed contractor, and he works with his dad and uncle to do most of the work. They are trustworthy, professional, hardworking and will work with your budget. I had them enter our home even when we weren't there and they were always respectful of our space and cleaned up everything too. They also worked pretty fast and finished all the work sooner than expected but still did good quality work. Even for any minor concerns we had, Eduardo will make sure it is addressed to your satisfaction and overall is very responsive to your needs.
