Waste Management has VERY POOR customer service! After moving back into my home after a major fire about 10 months ago, I put out 4 extra bags with my trash today. They emptied the can - and left the bags in my driveway. When I called to complain - that after paying for service with my HOA for 10 months -- and not using it at all -- that they couldn't just pick up a few bags of mostly packing paper and bubble wrap? I was told that they drivers are instructed to NOT take extra items, only what fits in the can. I asked about wouldn't it have been kind of the drive to pick them up -- and he said his drivers are suposed to follow the rules -- not worry about being kind! WHOA~ read more

consider getting your trash service ANYWHERE else. seriously after so many issues with this company and so many bogus charges we finally switched trash companies (best decision ever) about a month ago. waste management picked up our can but CONTINUED to charge us. not just charge us but charged my husband 100 dollars after he canceled and paid off our bill. he called to get it resolved and we woke up with another 100 dollar charge this morning. they charged us 200 dollars without telling us two different times A month after canceling. Its unethical And i will warn everyone. i now know why no one on our street for blocks has waste management. read more

Barely had a month's worth of service and already trying to cancel! Trash pick ups started with me receiving a foul smelling fish like water puddle in the bottom of my new service container, first weeks pick up missed. Second week trash container left across street to retrieve after pick up. Third week went good and then came the forth and no pick up at all. When I finally call to discuss the issues.. I explained to all three people I was transferred to.(Never got rude or disrespectful).The last two reps that answer get all bent out of shape about it like..How dare you bother us about it? They rudely exclaimed that my trash would be picked by the end of the day, but guess what? They rudely lied to me also. (So shocked) Can't wait to see if this company comes after me for some kind of contract issues like others here experienced. Luckily I never signed anything. read more

absolutlely the worst their business tactics are nothing short of extorsion, promises of no over full bin charges and the very next month same charges,call and talk to representative and the rush you off to someone else that swears they never promised that-what a bunch of crooks, been waiting for my contract to expire so i can give them the boot called 9/20 to notify we will not be renewing our contract was told it expired march 1 of 2021 called them again on 1/7 to make sure we are on list for last pick up and was told we will be charged for another year because we did not give them 60-100 days like I said EXTORSION WE WILL WE REPORTING THIS TO PUC. if I could give lower than 1 I would. sat on phone last week with a totally inept customer service rep, who definitely didn't even know where pueblo west colo is, told me my account was all set up and to have trash bags out at curb for Tues pick up, because toter delivery will be within 2 weeks. at 4pm trash still not picked up so call customer service who tells me no account exists. they then tell me they'd be more than happy to set up a new account with a start date of next week. I laughed told lady to shove it and went with waste connections who actually employ competent local staff. ridiculous that a nation wide company can't employ anything but inept people. read more
