My reason for visit servere headaches. She said that Dr Sanders does not give Pain medications. And wanted cancel the appointment if that was what I was coming for. I said same thing I said at Fishkill office. Extremely rude. Dr Sanders didn't care that visit I was in pain. Or that I took seven medications because I have a acute heart decease. Being so inhumane and down right meane and rude to cancel my Appt. I let them cancel the Appointment. What is Nuvance purpose anyway? And when told them about my many Medications they claim they NP Alexis from the Fishkill office wrote about me for medications list. Against me for what? I'm a patient with a Serious Heart Condtion. You can not imagine how much Stress Pain causes in a Heart Patient. As though I Did Something Wrong??! This cold evil attitude and right out lie. Part of Medicine is Pain Medication. It's on shelves of every Pharmacy in America. It's respected pharmacutical Industry. And I've been getting it for 8 years. I'm supposed have half a Doctor's half Care? But they wouldn't give Me Any Care. Like they were doing me a favor just going to A doctor's appt. All my medications are by only Medical Doctors. And to make matters worst, their so called Pain Management involves no pain Medications. But what they call "alternatives ". Then I'm supposed travel around on pain to Poughkeepsie. Poughkeepsie is far and dangerous. I'm supposed go far. And pay some Guru to some weird experiments on me. Like hormone injections. The Hospital tried alternatives until had to give me butabital for servere headaches. An alternative is supposed my choice. I've been taking very lite pain medications with my heart, and other Medications for 12 years. They are no complications. They work. They very therapeutic. It gives me rest. Helps me to Sleep. The therapists call you in at your appointed time and immediately you're doing something or receiving some sort of treatment, constantly. They don't waste your time. I've been at other Physical Therapy businesses and there were times when i was sitting around for long periods before the next modality. Watching the clock as they wasted my time and money. When I had a follow up with the prescribing physician I'd let them know my time is valuable and I would not be going back to that place. If they couldn't suggest another therapist I'd find another doctor. I don't entertain fools. This place does well because of these factors: efficient operations, competent therapists, and feed back to the prescribing physicians. Started out here for acupuncture for a back pain issue. The treatment seems to be working and is…read morepretty relaxing. My issues have more to do with the environment. It's more of a 'doctor factory'. Little care for the patients and no time. It's more in and out as quickly as possible. Often times putting the needles in quickly and a bit painfully as well. I've often had to wait in the room for more than 20 minutes before seeing the acupuncturist. I actually dressed and left once. It's also not conducive to being relaxed. The walls are paper thin, so you hear every patient conversation, every footstep up and down the corridor and every staff conversation. No one even tries to be quiet. Kitchen timers are set outside each room, so you have loud beeping noises going off during your relaxing treatment - it sounds like America's Test Kitchen. The rooms are also very worn out - definitely need an upgrade, cleaning and new coat of paint. I like and believe in the acupuncture, but if my insurance didn't cover it or I had to pay out of pocket, I wouldn't come here.

For that matter the whole neighborhood is relatively new. Listening to the staff interact with each other and the patients, you can tell they are happy there. No "bad' vibes nor tension; i e a nontoxic work environment. It's not a noisy or a chaotic place. That's reassuring; you're there for an operation. Not a day at an amusement park. The anesthesiologist, I didn't catch her name, came in and asked "what I was there for?" Her cheerful attitude helped me relax, before going into the operating theater. Every step of the way your ID is confirmed, what's about to happen is explained, so a child could understand, and made to feel psychologically comfortable. At no time did I feel neglected or ignored. There are several pre-op and post-op bays. Intake RN Kurt was reassuring and efficient with both our time. Post Op RN Ellen gave detailed post-op instructions, explained how to donn, doff, and care for the equipment. Provided post-op supplies and of course paperwork. Overall, I was quite impressed. Not that I want to make this a routine procedure. But, if anyone should ask; I would highly recommend this facility.
