That's a cool draw to the station, just to laugh at the segment is a reason to turn in. I like the 5 o'clock traffic jam, they have awesome DJ's over the weekend.. They're owned by "iHeart Media", which the biggest national radio conglomerate in the country, with almost 1,000 stations in their portfolio, including about half-a-dozen others just in the Boston area alone. iHeart Media calls all the shots. They decide who goes and who stays. They decide the programming content. They decide the scheduling. They decide everything. WBZ isn't even remotely independent. This is the OPPOSITE of independent. They're about as corporate as corporate radio can get. The fact that they would gaslight their listeners by claiming they're "fiercely independent" tells you all you need to know about this garbage station, which has been circling the drain ever since iHeart Media made them indentured servants in 2017. If you want to hear a mind-numbing "Kars for Kids" ad about 60 or 70 times a day, WBZ is your huckleberry. Otherwise, you're far better off getting your news online. There are plenty of better online options for local news, who really are independent, unlike this sad fraud of a radio station.

DJs are great but Jessica is phenomenal. If you follow her Instagram, she covers Boston sports local places to go to among other things also every summer she hosts a local artist night at Sylvan St., Grill. It is the highlight of my summer. She is such a great person with a great personality in a genuine heart. She makes listening to the radio, even more enjoyable. And I love how she plays all genres of country from Luke Bryan to Blake Shelton to my all-time favorite Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll and we can't forget about tedy swims in Lainey Wilson.

Thankfully for listeners of this station Evolution radio is available on iheartradio. The one drawback is the music has changed slightly.
