My problem was I couldn't find much for sale in this area until we found Cormark International. I was felling so-so about going here; their website showed a few wood species and mostly flooring but we went anyway. We walk into the store and Drew welcomed us in. The store entry is small and I saw some wood samples but not a whole lot. I asked Drew if they sold wood slabs and he says "come with me". He opens the door to the back and it was like the first time Willy Wonka opens the door to the chocolate factory. I thought ' Holy Crap, this is the largest wood selection I have ever seen!' And that was just a portion of what they had. The selection, quality and abundance of wood was amazing. I have quite a few species of wood in my shop but they had quite a few I hadn't heard of. I don't know how many times Drew gets to show off the warehouse but I think he enjoyed showing us what was available and I could tell he was proud of the company. It is an amazing operation. They can process logs and have wood ready to sell on the shelves right there at their facility. I have seen wood store across the country but nothing of this scale and to find out that they sell to the stores that I have had to pay a fortune to in past made me think that my next large purchase will be from Cormark. I still have to pay retail prices and shipping but the quality they have should be worth it.

The owner of the store is about to throw a young couple and there 6 month old baby into the streets…read morejust two weeks before Christmas. They are living in a mouse invested mobile home owned by this man and refuses to call pest control to take control of the situation, but instead wants to put rat poisening down and already has traps all over their kitchen (my 17 month old popped two of them!!!!!!!!). It is only the 7th and they hadn't paid rent yet in hopes that he would be pressured slightly, but instead he put a hand written notice on their door saying they have to be out in 10 days and to fill the oil tank. What kind of man would kick a new family out on their first Christmas with no where to go and only a months rent?!!! I believe in supporting the local businesses, but not when they are like this! I've seen this mobile home and it wasn't even fit to live in to begin with...it smelled of mold and wasps lived in the master bedroom. I hope that they are able to find a place in the amount of time that was given to them, I feel like they have been sentenced by this evil man...the GRINCH!!!!! She immediately went to help, unasked , and carried the bag into to help me check. The cashiers are very cheerful and friendly.
