This place was pretty good! Clean and plenty of parking in the front. I saw they had a drive thru but I opted to go inside. The lady taking orders was friendly even though she couldn't recommend anything based off experience of eating here (which had me a little nervous). I eventually talked to the cook and he told me to order the General chicken which was a fan favorite. I also ordered the wontons. I love wontons but I usually don't order them because I hate the pre-made deep freezer taste that comes with them at most Chinese places but these were delicious. They were definitely just made within the last couple of hours if not upon order. They were crisp and filling and not oily at all. The sauce that came with it had a hint of a floral taste but it was still pretty good. As for the shrimp fried rice it wasn't nothing out the park and they didn't have a ton of egg in it which I like but it was still pretty good. The chicken didn't wow me with flavor but I did like how fresh it was! It looked heavily breaded as they placed it in the deep fryer (yes I was looking) but it actually wasn't. It had some nice white meat inside. Very white and juicy. I wish they added more than two broccoli pieces but I'll know to ask next time. Overall I would return if I'm on the side of town but I'll try the braised chicken wings instead!! Definitely ordering those wontons again (yuuuuummo)!! read more

The prices are reasonable and the food comes out quick. The portion sizes​ is fair. I like the atmosphere on the inside compared to most restaurants that sell this cusine, but it is rare you find people eating on the inside. Most people go through the drive thru which is rare find for this type of restaurant. I drove past this place for years. I finally decided to try. I'm glad I did. 1st time in Atlanta, from California so the jet lag has my internal clock messed up. I woke up looking for good at 10 p.m. and almost everything was closed...except this diamond in the rough! It is a combination of fast food mixed with restaurant quality Chinese food! This would be a hit in California! The egg drop soup was , the sweet tea would make you get full on beverages alone and the chicken and veggies would make you want to order more for later! So we found this place after leaving a movie. Everything pretty much closes around 10 so we were happy to find a bite to eat. The Yelp reviews made me less apprehensive if the drive thru. While ordering the only issue we had was that my bf ordered a combo but he didn't get a drink. We he asked at the window we were told you have to specify that you want a drink with your combo. This was pretty confusing to us as the combo stated that it comes with a drink so just be very specific regarding what you want when you order. We made it home with our food and we eager to get munching. I order shrimp friend rice which was the pretty typical taste and portion size. Everything was good until I chimp d down on some wire in my food. No words could express my disgust. Idk where the stringy wore came from but let's just say I'm not willing to risk it again. read more

I'm from Chicago. This..is not the Chinese I'm used to whatsoever. The rice is fried super light. Not enough meat in the rice. I asked for no vegetables (they're not in the fried rice up north). I had chicken and broccoli and my husband had sesame chicken. It was average for Atlanta Chinese, but for the reviews on here, I was expecting pretty decent Chinese food. I was brought to Wok by my mother who visits so often I think she could pay their electric bill. It really has become our favorite "Chinese Place" in the area and is perfect for a quick lunch. The restaurant is highly rated and I would say better than most. Everything I have tasted has been tasty and fresh. Like many that have come before them I try really hard to seek out the non Americanized aspects of the menu but was left with more to longing. Very disappointed. The beef had a very mushy and soggy texture. The vegetables tasted frozen, for sure. Overall the meal was bland and very dissatisfying. It was like eating a regrettable frozen "tv dinner." Only positive is I left less hungry. read more

I must be missing something. I know standards down south are low and people will continue wasting their money at shitty chain restaurants whereas they could get a significantly better meal elsewhere at the same cost, but how are the reviews for this place so high!? I've come here quite a few times, why? To bring other people and have them eat what I think is the absolutely worst fried rice to exist on this planet. I was blown away by how incredibly hard the pieces of rice were. It's supposed to be fried rice, thus glistening with a light coating of oil, yet these grains are deader than dead with the dull tone of the soy sauce they're coated in, yet even with that, it's so dry!!! Then there's the meat. I got chicken fried rice, and maybe the beef is better, but it's as if they have pre-boiled(!) Chicken ready to be used in the rice because all the juice in the chicken is gone, it's empty and dead inside and will be buried under the even deader rice. Seriously, I encourage you to come here and try the fried rice. I want everyone to understand what dirt rock bottom tastes like because it's truly a once in a lifetime experience- it's that bad. I've tried a few other items, but the only one I would consider close to decent is the general tsao's chicken, but once again, the chicken is impossibly dry! I would easily go to Panda across the street than eat here, but I'll be sure to keep bringing people here just to try the anomalous of a fuck up fried rice. read more

There were way too many mysterious things found in my plate of food, stuff I can't even explain. A mangled piece of a shrimps head in my rice, and when I bit into my sesame chicken I had the oddest bitter undone fishy taste in my mouth, In the trash it went. The food was pretty good but my experience was not. I waited 35min for a simple order because the young lady gave my food away. I was only offered a free drink. When they realized the error, it took 10 min. I understand it's an error but a coupon or a discount should have been offered rather than a sorry and a soda. read more
