The name says Great Chow. There is absolutely nothing great about this place. It used to have a different name in the past. My daughter wanted to go here for dinner because in her childhood she loved it. The food used to be decent and filling. I don't know what happened but the quality has gone down. There are no labels on the buffet so it is a guessing game. I chose something safe like chicken wings and potatoes. It was very sub par. Every dish either tasted the same or was over cooked. I tried to get a second plate but I just couldn't eat it. I saw people continuously going back but I just couldn't do it. I tried a couple of desserts but they were hard and dry. Great chow is a pretty solid Chinese buffet spot. The prices were fair too. Saturday prices were around 16 per person. They got your typical varieties, chicken wings, seafoody stuff (imitation crab casseroles, craw fish, fried crabs, steamed mussels, and etc). There was a decent amount of people dining for around lunch, but not too crowded so gives you a chance to grab something hot and fresh right from the kitchen. There's a nice lil hibachi area in the back that will make your stir fry dish on the spot. For what it is, I think it's solid. I was clean. My recent dining experience at GreatChow was nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, the manager/owner displayed shocking levels of rudeness by inquiring about the ages of my children upon arrival. After disclosing that my children were 12, 10, and 8 years old, the manager proceeded to drop a bombshell: my 10-year-old daughter would be charged as an adult due to her height. This preposterous assertion left both my family and our waitress dumbfounded. Believing it to be a tasteless joke, we continued with our meal, only to be met with harsh reality when the bill arrived. Despite our protests and pleas for reason, the manager remained obstinate, callously dismissing our concerns and instructing the waitress to leave us to deal with it. As if that weren't humiliating enough, my daughter was reduced to tears by this unjust treatment. I am utterly appalled by the behavior of the management at GreatChow. Their discriminatory pricing policies and complete lack of empathy have left a stain on what should have been a pleasant family outing. I've attached the receipt as evidence of this shameful ordeal. Save yourself the embarrassment and avoid this establishment at all costs. a pretty standard chinese buffet with fair prices. we paid around $16 per person. we went on a regular weekday afternoon where it wasn't that busy but the food was really fresh. the servers were nice and the place was clean and well kept. the sushi wasn't being served at this time but there's usually a nice selection and the hibachi was a little bland so make sure you request sauces as they hibachitize (i made that word up) your food for you. oh and the fresh fried chicken is my favorite!!! it's worth a check out! read more

I know all of the staff on a first name basis. We laugh and joke daily. I have never called the scene I have never been ghetto. I have never conducted myself in any ill manner. When I attempted to return my food, she did not want to give me a full refund because she said I ate some of the food. Mind you I only ate one crab and I had to drive all the way from my home back to this location. I advised her that I was not satisfied with that resolution, and that I am a loyal customer who has spent $100 at this facility and I come and shop there very often every other day if not every day. They rather lose a loyal customer who has never complained!!!!! instead of taking accountability for their mistake. She then told me it's not their fault that the Hair is in the food. I told her ma'am I came here with a bonnet on my head, and I returned here with a bonnet on my head. There is no way to get hair to stick to inside and under the batter of the fried food, unless it was already cooked with it. Been here more than a few times. Standard Chinese buffet experience with decent variety. They seem to be improving a lot of stuff which is a refreshing change as most places go backwards rather than forwards. Our server kept our drinks full and the table clean of plates with brutal efficiency. I never saw the bottom of my glass and plates were gone quickly. They always make sure that the food is fresh no matter what time you visit. That's saying a lot for any buffet these days. The servers are very quick and efficient with making sure drinks are refilled in a timely manner. Depending on when you go, the lines may be long and the dining room crowded. However, if there is a seat for you, there is a treat for you. They have almost anything you could want on a Chinese buffet and everything tastes well. Tucked away in shopping center in morrow, this gem is hopefully here to stay. There are two dining areas and each time I've come, they've both been full. After my first visit and tasting the coconut shrimp, Korean barbecue and garlic fried crab, I have been back three or four times. Each time, I've at somewhere different and have added another food item to my resume. I haven't had any dessert and honestly, don't regret it. I come to eat not get full on sweets. They have a hibachi bar. You can fill up your plate with all of the raw goods and watch them make it in front of you. There are an assortment of vegetables, along with chicken, shrimp, etc. There's also sushi, dried chicken, all of your Chinese food classics like General Tso and Orange chicken.
