0 stars is exactly wht they deserve at this point. It takes up space in a plaza and operates like pure trash...you call...no answer, although it says open online....decided to drive just in case it was too busy to answer the phone...get here and they're not open.....just close tf down already

Chicken and broccoli, fried chicken wings, fried dumpling, and egg roll.

This was my first time eating from this place and I kept it basic. I ordered the chicken & broccoli with white rice, fried chicken wings, egg roll and fried dumplings. Personally everything had flavor. The egg roll wasn't what I was use to taste wise. Again this was my first time bottom line I do plan on eating from this place again and trying other menu items.

    Happy Family II

(CHINA WOK LOCATED AT: 2666 GA HWY 155 S LOCUST GROVE, GA. 30248 ) I wish that I could give this place a negative ZERO...The owners/employees are rude & racist. The food quality is poor & the food preparation habits are below standard & VERY UNSANITARY practices. On my visit today, I witnessed an Asian male (who I assumed was one of the owners) actually working both the cash register also cooking food interchangeably WITHOUT washing his hands). This same man was also seen dipping his unwashed bare hands into a box filled with vegetables & immediately preparing food after I just saw him take cash from a customer at the register...The Asian female that prepared my food did a TERRIBLE job. I ordered the Happy Family which tasted like flavorless, watered down cooking oil not fit for human consumption, and the House Lo Mein tasted old & bland. The meat in BOTH were old & there were NO SHRIMP in the Happy Family... (not that it mattered). HOWEVER, the entire order went directly into the trash with the exception of the egg rolls which were cold and had to be microwaved, (a total waste of $28)...DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY in this NASTY ESTABLISHMENT...

    Crab ragoons once again...

Always consistantly good...will continue to come here...fresh food, hot and sooo yummy. Their crab ragoons are soooo good. Everything I have had here has never disappointed me.

I rarely eat "chinese". Every time I do,I reminded why. Mystery meat! Beef, chicken, pork? Likely not. I ordered mine to go with a side of plain fried rice. It was undercooked. I don't understand how food supposedly prepared in a piping hot wok can be luke warm after a 5 min drive home. I get the empression the beef just isnt beef. You all hear the stories. If you take the time to actually chew this crap you'd probably feel the same. Its gooie, slimy even. Coated with something made to mask what you're actually eating. A subtle whiff reveals an unpleasant, rancid or slightly rotten odor. Im tempted to see what the food and safety inspectors lab would think.

Not reliable. Irregular hours of operation. Never picks up phone. Food is decent if you actually get an order in.

I have had their Singapore Chow Fun, General Tso's Chicken, Hot and Sour Soup, and last but not least their Teriyaki Beef/Chicken on a stick.

The only complaint is their chicken wings are very small and not as flavorful as in the past. The service is always polite and friendly. The restaurant is clean but could use some modern updates.

We were a party of five and had the restaurant to ourselves except for the occasional coming and going of people picking up their dinners. Out of the five of us two ordered generalTso's chicken combination dinner which comes with fried rice, your choice of soup and a spring roll. Both people ordering this dinner loved it! They commented on how much sauce was provided and how it was perfectly seasoned. Next was chicken lo mein. My sister loved that! Next was my mom's Mongolian beef combination dinner, which she loved! She also had egg drop soup. I had moo goo gai pan combination dinner with wonton soup, which was really good and my moo goo gai pan was good except it had believe it or not too much garlic! The sauce was really thin also. I did eat it though without complaining because the flavor was good, but the garlic was almost overwhelming. The ambience of the place is not all that great. You can tell that they didn't focus a whole lot on the dining room when they designed the restaurant because they were depending more on takeout orders.. The restaurant does not serve any alcohol at all, and all of the drinks are in the bottle. The lady that waited on us did a very good job, was very friendly and food was promptly delivered. Overall, it was an enjoyable dinner with really good food! We all agreed that we would definitely eat there again! I just won't be having moo goo gai pan! Lol

But…read moreever since my last visit I've been realizing some customers complaining about the wait time or just little problems so I wanted to make a review. You guys need to realize this is a family owned restaurant and they are trying everything they can to make us customers happy. Sometimes they get crammed like on holidays or if they are busy in general it will take them a little bit longer for them to make our food but they will always make sure to satisfy us and try to make it as quick as possible. Their cooks are super sweet and when busy is trying their best to keep up with all these large orders so please give them some time. I get it when it reaches a limit like if it takes an hour or so but even if they really are trying their best to keep up with each order and make sure we get our food to our liking. I looked at most of these reviews and see most of them are one time experiences and it over little mistakes so please just give them more chances because their food is absolutely delicious. I love them with all my heart and will always be coming back.

I've heard stupid jokes around Jackson about why the food is so cheap, but such racist jibes do an awful disservice to the lovely Malaysian family who run this restaurant. They use extremely fresh ingredients and prepare everything from scratch every day, so you're never going to be served anything that's been refrigerated or microwaved. The restaurant is cheap because its owners manage it well and do steady business. The General Tsao Chicken is especially good, with spicy sauce and huge helpings of fresh sweet green peppers, but my favorite dish is the Happy Family, which combines every possible ingredient and shouldn't work but somehow magically does. The pot stickers (deep-fried pork dumplings) are divine, and the eggrolls are a perfect mixture of crunchy and chewy. All of the soups are competent and served with surpringly delicate fried egg noodle crispies, which I could eat by the bagful. The hot jasmine tea they serve is refreshing and subtly fragrant. And finally, don't be afraid to try the seafood dishes! The restaurant decor is retro and charming, and the service is attentive and friendly. These guys are really great with large groups. The drive-thru take-out line can sometimes take a while, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings, so it's better to call ahead and go inside to pick up your food.

But we made a Togo order tonight and it was quoted 10 minutes until pick up. And they were right on time. The sweet and sour chicken was heavenly. The sauce was thick and sweet and came with lots of pineapple, peppers and onions. The wonton soup with the wonton crackers was so well made and tasted great. Tip: ask for extra wonton strips! They're so good with the soup. The crab Rangoons were great and you could tell they're handmade and not frozen. I will say that while everything mentioned was amazing, the fried rice was not up to par. The rice was dry and wasn't very good. That won't stop us from ordering again! We spent about $19 and it fed two of us with plenty of leftovers!
