I was working in the area and thought I'd give this place a try. I'm glad I did! It's a little stand alone building, very basic and simple atmosphere. The place is clean and the service is friendly. It's a family run business and you can tell they care about the food. I had Crab Rangoon and Orange Chicken. Both were hits! The Rangoon was very good, really crunchy and the filling was great. You could see the pieces of crab meat! The orange chicken was excellent! The fried texture on the chicken was great and the sauce was really good too, great flavor! I would definitely recommend this place and I'll be back! read more

I LOVE Wok on! Taiwan is NOT Thailand. The empress shrimp is amazing. Chicken and shrimp human style is also very good. Crab rangoons are made with the thicker wonton and a very good sauce. The family is from Taiwan. They had a restaurant in Henderson for years. read more

Food was great! The restaurant is nothing to shout about but very nice and friendly people. I would go back when back in town.

Have lunch specials advertised on web site but they no longer do them. So instead of 7.75 for entree soup and egg roll it's 18.00 for only entree and drink. Amazing Asian/Tai food! I used to eat lunch here very often until we moved across town. The service is always friendly and top notch customer service. I got take out with my usual hunan chicken no veggies extra spicy. It was even better than I remembered and now I am going to make an effort to eat here more!!! We ate here a couple of weeks ago. The food was Chinese food. We mistook their sign that said "Taiwanese food" for meaning Thai food. Anyway, it was good, not exciting, but good. They seem to have the same type dishes you would get at any Chinese food place. We each had the combination fried rice and liked it but it did need a lot of soy sauce. The atmosphere is okay. If I had done this review when they first opened, it would have been better. But not everything gets better with age. Wok On is one of those things. I got chicken fried rice today and the chicken was not good. Chewy. Not cooked. Just not good. Also got some hot and sour soup and it was not hot, not sour and not good. Not bad. We have not found any good Chinese food places in the view. Magic China is as good as it gets here. But, they are on the other side of town so not convenient for us. So we decided to try Wok On tonight and we liked it. We ordered the combo fried rice. They give you a lot. And also the Beef and Broccoli dinner. Went simple, just in case. Definitely good flavor on all. Not overly salty. Egg Rolls were good also. We will be calling in another order real soon. Can't wait to try their soups as the weather gets cooler. Traveled here all the way from GA for a short term project at the Air Liquide plant and this waz by far my favorite place! Went here once a week and the family owned business waz very friendly. I stopped by only intending on getting some rice to go with dinner I had planned. I ended up getting the vegetable Lo mein with crab rangoons and jalapeño chicken. It was all so yummy and delicious, and there was enough to feed my dad, my husband, myself, and some noodles for my mom with leftovers. I was really craving for fried rice today, so I was searching some Chinese food on yelp, I'm glad I found wok-on, we ordered combo fried rice, sesame Chicken and fried dumplings. I like my combo fried rice and totally got satisfied for that. My husband like his sesame Chicken, he just wish they could give more rice haha. And we both like fried dumplings too. Just opened up in Longview and the food is wonderful!! We just went there tonight and was so impressed with the quality of food, the portion size and the flavor!!!! Definitely will go back! I stopped by this restaurant because I did not expect to see a "Taiwanese" restaurant in Longview and was excited to give it a try to satisfy my ever-present itch for asian food. Though I was disappointed that the cuisine was not in fact Taiwanese, I was still pleased to give it a try. From what I can tell, this is a small family owned and operated joint and they know who their clientele is, as the menu caters to the westernized generic "Chinese" food crowd. The staff is super friendly and the food wasn't bad at all. They Szechuan need & shrimp I ordered comes with your choice of white or fried rice (I opted for white). The dish doesn't skimp on the meat, as a lot of places do.. and it's not absolutely swimming in pools of oil either. I'll give this a solid 3 out of 5 stars, since I usually prefer more authentic cuisine, but I'm sure more western palates should enjoy the restaurant and friendly service for sure! read more

Food was too salty, two coworkers and I had came here for our lunch and one found a big fried into the food. When presented to a worker, they tried to argue and tell us it was just burnt rice. They even attempted to make a scene..The sprite tasted like it had cleaning fluid mixed in, very bad. I think I left more sick than full. read more

If you frequent Panda Express, do yourself a favor and drive the extra 5-7 minutes south on Eastman Road to Wok-On instead. The food is cooked fresh when you order it and the wait is still shorter than sitting/standing in line at the aforementioned chain. We have tried the Lo Mein, chicken, beef and shrimp dishes. Everything has been delicious. The spicy dishes are spicy as promised. Prices are really low and the serving size is enough to share or make two meals. Yes, it's small and out of the way if you're a North Longview resident but you will be happy you took that extra drive time. read more

I order the General Tso Chicken with fried rice. My chicken was 4 big chunks and my peppers to make it spicy was very burnt as well as the sauce and my egg roll taste like it had soap on it. Wasn't worth the price I paid for it. read more

They are never open when they say they are!!! However, The food is good but you can't keep customers coming back if you aren't open.

Mediocre, generic Chinese food. The lo mein had no flavor and the noodles were linguine, not lo mein. The orange chicken tasted like bbq sauce smothered chicken nuggets. The spicy beef was very mild, no heat, sauce tasted more like brown gravy. Needless to say we will NEVER eat here again. read more
